2.08L is what my bike took. After the first liter, just have your kill switch turned on so it cant start and hit the starter button for 5 seconds for the oil pump to transfer some from the frame to the motor. otherwise you might spill some oil on the frame as the oil is shared in the frame and engine since its a dry sump design.
