Muchas gracias for all your wonderful videos. I have seen so many sewing videos since the pandemic. Sincerely you get to the point without boring me. Methodical, irreverent but oh such a good teacher!!!! Plus what the heck you loved Perú artisans, that was so great. Can you do more videos? A book?

Great tips, yay!!! I especially liked the flip method for mirroring. 🤩

I’ve only sewn with natural products, I was thinking of buying knit fabric once and make a long sleeve top, just to say to myself I’ve worked with knits lol, you helped me decide.

There are definitely loads fo options for natural knits. Cotton, Linen, silk and even wool. It all depends on how the fabric is woven....or rather, knitted. Knits are "woven" in loops and the loops is which gives the fabric that stretch. As always, thanks for being here.

I'm new to making clothing, but I have a lot of experience with sewing handbags. I know enough to know I don't know enough, so I'll look at what else you've got before I start my first dress. ;) One tip I'd like to pass on is to either photocopy at 100% or print two (if it's a pdf) a pattern piece that's to be mirrored and tape the two pieces together. No flipping, just cut and go. I absolutely hate pattern pieces on tissue paper, because I'm just not a very gentle person, so pdf is my preference.

Hi! Are you using tissue paper or tracing paper because there is a pretty big difference. I was confused. Do you have recommendations where to buy it in large amounts for cutting the knit fabric? Thanks!
