Your instruction is clear and precise. Thank you for excluding unnecessary talk.
I miss Nancy😢
So many excellent tips. The flat application for inserting sleeves was an eye opener as it helped solve one of my "now how do I do that" moments.
Still miss Nancy. I loved watching her and still have things I bought from her shop. I too am still learning from Nancy.
Nancy I was there with you 30 plus? years ago. I learned a lot from you :-D
Then life happened…and I haven’t sewn anything for years.
But now I’m getting back into my favorite hobby, and I’m so happy to find you here on TH-cam. Xo
Thank you for posting this! Nancy’s shows were one of my first introductions to sewing in the 90’s. I must have missed this one- still learning from her! ❤
Omg i watched her and I’m finally getting back into sewing ❤
Really helpful. Thank you.,
Thank you!
I am struggling with machine sewing a slinky knit fabric. I have tried many needles: Jersey, stretch and regular ballpoint for knits. I have also varied the size choices of needles but with my machine the thread skips stitches still. One thing I have not tried is finer thread............I have noticed how the needles pull up the fabric a bit, is that called flagging. Is there is type of non stick needle? My test strips have help me understand the issue but not resolve the issue. Thanks for your help.
Maybe experiment with the tension on your machine. And maybe a walking foot would help-something to explore. I’d add also using a stabilizer of some kind..Good luck, hoping you find or have found a resolve for this.
What a great thing to do with Alzheimer’s patients.
