@Cherry Gorilla My use of the popular vernacular, obviously, was wasted upon you. You do realize, that in polite company, it is considered bad etiquette to pick up someone's grammar? I do it to others also. So I've been hoisted on my own petard, it seems.
Bill feels exactly the way I felt about rehab. I was in a room with women who were doing heroin while pregnant. The majority were repeat offenders that honestly used it as a social group. I felt way out of place. The worst I had was an addiction to painkillers that I developed while having back issues. It made me feel humble though and that humble feeling was what i needed. 10 years clean.
When I began to relate to people things changed...like they say go to enough meetings you'll hear your story ..I still struggle with life on life's terms a bit but 23 years later still sober
im hooked and i donno who the dude even is. he's so pleasant to listen to. - after a short moment of google searching and listening to a few songs on youtube I feel stupid for my ignorance.
Funnily enough, I had no idea who Jonesy was going into this. Much like yourself, I had a great first impression. I'm a huge Burr fan, so I'm glad you liked him. It's easy to tell these guys are on the same level, and it made for a great interview. Probably not the last time I'll listen to Jonesy I reckon. Both blokes nailing the crossover exposure right here.
Adolf Hitler not when he lets his woman chime in...but i get it...a man wants to make his lady feel bright so that he gets the good stuff later on 😜...... btw jonesy is the tits !
This is a great KLOS,my favourite jukebox was with "Sir"Paul Cook,Pure Prairie League, awesome fun had by all.Paul is a smart guy, gentleman, coulda been a judge..he is so fair.
hence probably explaining why Val Kilmer brazenly tried to poach him from KLOS whilst midstream being interviewed, all of a sudden Val springs a seriously compelling proposition 2 Jonesy offering him double his current salary plus per diems plus plus plus hoowever given Jonesy's savvy street smarts &/or his down to earth humility it seemed he was kinda unresponsive either politely rejecting the offer with polite ambivalence or maybe more so respectfully unsure whether Val was the full quid at the time flying from the hip with big time offers high on something & Jonesy wasn't gonna appear too enthusiastic as if to take advantage of Val in his presently disabled state of slow recovery after throat cancer so on & so 4th in any case I thought it was very well handled by SJ under the circumstances & not least made 4 yet another priceless bit of TH-cam gold.
Cool interview. Interesting to see Bill wanting to relate to Jonesy. Slips a compliment here and there. Detachement and coolness seems like really important traits that Bill tries to incorporate.
I've watched a ton of episodes and this is one of the most enjoyable I've heard. When Bill Burr and Jonesy start on the millenials it's high comedy - and also astute observation ("blame the parents for giving the kids a painless childhood"; "Get out belt out!" "Buckle side", LOL). Great interview with the "ginger" (haha). I hope SJ gets more comedians on the show soon. Classic match up!
What I love about this is Bill Burr is noticeably and uncharacteristically a little nervous/anxious, but Jonesy's so laid back and chill that he eases the tension and they're able to shoot the shit. We need more people like Steve Jones.
I'm a lifelong fan of comedians. I respect it as a calling and a trade. If anybody ever tells you that comedians don't have to work hard, show them this interview.
All the millennials, that don't know who Jonesy is, seriously need to get wise. This is a great interview. Who'd have thought Bill and Steve would make such a great team?
"He robbed us blind but I liked him" ha, wonderful. Jonsey was so light fingered himself he can't get mad at being stiffed. Humble and honest there, is it not? "It wasn't Malcom's fault .... It should have been nailed down" heeee!
You can tell that Jonesy totally won over Bill. Bill is fucking in love with him by the end of this video...haha (not literally of course) ;-). It's rare that you get to see someone make Bill laugh as hard and as often as he makes others laugh. Jonesy pulled it off without even trying.
True story: my brother knows Craig Gannon (who is best known for briefly being in The Smiths) & he and his wife were in the Hacienda (club) when Mick Hucknall, walking stick in hand, approached his wife and started chatting her up. Craig snatched the walking stick form Mick Hucknall & proceeded to tell him, that, unless he "fucked off" he was going to shove the walking stick "up his fucking arse". Hucknall left quickly. I've only met Craig a couple of times, but, he is a big lad. True Story & you're right - Hucknall named the band in honour of Manchester United. I actually saw him sat next to Fergie at a game on TV the other week.
Jonesy and Bill Burr. It don't get better than this.
It don't get bet-a den diss
Jonesy & Jimmy Norton is golden too

@@Paul-dw2cl They had an interview before?
Watch him with Conan, thank me later
They got great chemistry, it was pretty funny
These guys could honestly have their own show together
man I love Bill Burr.
Overrated Boston jerkoff.
"Ol' Ginge"

Your situation is not comparable to those in your group.
For 8 years in and out of the rooms I consistently looked at the difference between myself and others. When I

Who came here for Bill but ended up also a Jonesy fan?

Other way around for us ..
Opposite
Yeh can't understand the idiot sounds as pilled up as Ozzy.
It was Jonesy first for me.
The Pistols’ legendary guitarist interviews one of the funniest people on the planet - who happens to play the drums himself..
This is one of Bill Burr's best interviews.
Watched this again .. one of my favourites
This was enjoyable. Jones is so chill and at times not so bright, but lovable and entertaining. Then burr with his quick wit, good stuff, funny combo.
Love “F is for family” as well as this interview. Way better then any radio interview in the states
These two should have their own show together.
These two need a buddy-cop movie together.
Ol'Ginge & Gasy Pistol
Bill Burr shouting out One Punch Man
Two modern day icons - enjoyed the banter immensely!!!
" I shoot steroids into my foot, cause you know .. I'm a stand-up comedian".Thanks Bill, you just made my day 😂😂😂
Not funny.
no idea who bill burr is, but this was another good jonesy session - bill just 'gets' steve's humour and fires it back at him, v funny
Keef... You have to watch his stand up, there's plenty of full shows on here. Do it now; thank me later. Gold!
He's one of the best stand up comics we have left in the US. Look him up bruv, he has 3-4 specials on Netflix.

Bill is also amazing on joe rogans podcast if you’d wanna give that a listen
Watch him on Conan, he's hilarious
20:02
Holy shit, what a priceless bit of convo! LMFAO
This is the best Jonesy Jukebox ever! can't stop laughing
Apart from Paul Cook.
Monday Morning Podcast is the best thing ever happened to humanity.
Adolf Hitler not when he lets his woman chime in...but i get it...a man wants to make his lady feel bright so that he gets the good stuff later on 😜...... btw jonesy is the tits !
.....and good name choice adolf ......was "Ben the Murdering Bellhop" taken ?
Didn't know this comedian but will now check his stuff out
Bill is my favorite human being, on the internet and in stand up and I don't think anyone will be better.
I could listen to these guys talk all day
Always liked Bill Burr And Steve Jones wonderful to see them together
I think i would pay for a bill burr / Jonesy podcast .. great chemistry @klos
THIS IS THE GREATEST!!!!

Don't give him your watch Bill!
I love joneseys juke box not only he is a great radio person but he was and still is a great guitarist
This is a great KLOS,my favourite jukebox was with "Sir"Paul Cook,Pure Prairie League, awesome fun had by all.Paul is a smart guy, gentleman, coulda been a judge..he is so fair.
15:00 - Bill's friendly and polite way of saying SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME FINISH!
5 minutes in and a great conversation. I’ll invest my time to watch the next 30 now.
Best episode of Jonesyjukebox in my opinion
Jonesy is a great interviewer
you think? This comes across as awkward and ill thought out to me
Dan B Agreed, thought it was terrible
Dan B Bills respect for him and his band is the only reason it went okay. He was giving him a lot more leeway than he normally would.

Please do more together! Yous are great :-)
Loved this one - steve is a funny bloke so nice to see him with someone who is equally interested in a good giggle . :-)
Cool interview. Interesting to see Bill wanting to relate to Jonesy. Slips a compliment here and there. Detachement and coolness seems like really important traits that Bill tries to incorporate.
"People find them lovable, i don't, they look a little shifty" Bill Burr about Koalas :D
Those little fuckers are fluffy desease balls. So cute, they give you STDs.
No Joke. Look it up.

Cannot get enough Burr!!!! Steve Jones......I'm now gonna follow this fella!

well put !! gr8 post mate 100% concur
Jonesey could definitely talk someone off a ledge. His voice is soothing.
Not if they were ginger.
Love both off these guys, they should do a regular podcast together!
What the fuck happened at 20:53 ? Bill had a cheeky grin on his face after that. Did someone do a quick line of something ;)
thought the exact same mate
I think Jonsey farted. Listen again.
Someone opened the door and sounded like a fart!
snorted a line of cocaine lol
how am I only just discovering this man! lol please Bill start a duel podcast with Jonsey... this could be the perfect comedy pairing! lol so funny
I'm a lifelong fan of comedians. I respect it as a calling and a trade. If anybody ever tells you that comedians don't have to work hard, show them this interview.
One is a legend one is on the way to becoming a legend.
without his ginger Haaaaaaiiiiiiiiirrrrrr we wouldnt have this great Comedian...so thanks for that
What hair😂 nah, he is great, gppd chemistry in this one
I love Steve's laugh :D
fuck I love the Sex Pistols and Bill Burr
Bill: "Pick it up!"
Jonsey: "We'll be right back."
Love Bill's accent! Sounds real '70's to me, hence his cartoon thing is so cool! Plus Jonesy got that awesome East End going on (nearly Cockney).
West London accent.
Please Jonesy, come back to doing your show and have Bill on for a part 2 as promised!
pretty sure Jonesy farts at 20:53
Pretty sure he sniffed some speed
I love both of these guys
need more of these two. so funny.
Bill's a drummer (a Bonham-influenced one at that), they should get together and jam sometime. I'd pay for that LP lol. ⚡🎸🎶
This was fucking hilarious.
All the millennials, that don't know who Jonesy is, seriously need to get wise. This is a great interview. Who'd have thought Bill and Steve would make such a great team?
This is as good as it gets...☺️👍
Just genius.
"I think yours is a little lighter. I think mine is better" LOL hahah

That was pure gold
"im a lonely boy" steve jones . i love this song
I've worked with the professionals for a few years now, great guys. Shame Steve left but Paul is a diamond
And black leather lol
i lost it at 17:45 how he casualy goes to undermining comment about football , he even says "your game" , its hilarious.
What a time to be alive
“Pick up the damn ball”
13:38 Billy Blue Balls nerding out on One Punch man. :D
They have an awesome semi-awkward chemistry going on! I love it 👍
Jonesy's typical laconic London Cool dry as a chip sharp wit
This is superb.
Billy RedBalls.
I've held a koala. They smell like eucalyptus.
Loved this
this is awesome..
These guys work so well together, I think cause their at a different pace it syncs so well! 😬👍🏻
This is gold.
4:50 somebody tell Bill that Liberty D is still at it! He's in that Netflix documentary """Hired Gun"""
"He robbed us blind but I liked him" ha, wonderful. Jonsey was so light fingered himself he can't get mad at being stiffed. Humble and honest there, is it not? "It wasn't Malcom's fault .... It should have been nailed down" heeee!
😜 I'm not an alcoholic. I drink socially & in the bathroom.
e's good right, ol' ginge
This Jonesy guy strikes me like the English Joey Diaz.
Billy "No Fun" Burr is the best!!
Jesus, can't believe Bill didn't know who Malcolm McLaren was.
You can tell that Jonesy totally won over Bill. Bill is fucking in love with him by the end of this video...haha (not literally of course) ;-). It's rare that you get to see someone make Bill laugh as hard and as often as he makes others laugh. Jonesy pulled it off without even trying.
Simply Red's name is an homage to Manchester United. He's a life long fan. He also just happens to be a ginger bastard.
True story: my brother knows Craig Gannon (who is best known for briefly being in The Smiths) & he and his wife were in the Hacienda (club) when Mick Hucknall, walking stick in hand, approached his wife and started chatting her up. No no no, I'm not having that! He's a PIG-FACED ginger bastard, try to get it right! 😉
He also worked as a waiter and was in an "IT Crowd" episode.
Good banter
"Aannd uh, good luck to ya." Lol
Come one Bill, he gave you the topic of conspiracy theories and you didn't run with it
He says he dont like it anymore cause it never ends lol waste of mind space
tonyajw85 be happy it wasnt joe rogan in place of burr on that one.
Joe "Have you read that article by Courtney Love" Rogan
He grew up & realised that spending your life worrying about that shit is for the birds.
Two proper geezers, right here.
This was great.
"no more knees" rofl
OMG Bill you're amazing for promoting a good anime!
AAAAAAAAND I just found out Bill Burr watches One Punch Man and that's f*#kin' awesome.
Hilarious this.
Nice that he plays a lot of The Heavy Metal Kids who were an amazing live band.
