I know you think Lane Hutson gets PP1 over Mike Matheson but I think it's more likely that they give Matheson PP1 to start the season to build up his trade value and move him at the deadline
Some great waiver wire pickups in the past where Robert Lang, Martin Gelinas and of course the Oilers messed up loosing ray Whitney off waivers as well.
Snagged Faber in the 10th in my 12 team 2 keeper league as my FOURTH D man (Bouchard, Heiskanen, D. Towes) pretty excited about this season. Oh yeah also managed to get boldy too lfg

I think Seider falling is a result of the contract uncertainty combined with Gustaffson being added. Gus is a PP specialist, I see him as a significant road block to PP1 since he goes to pretty much useless off it.
I hate when they put these older "PP specialist" guys on PP1 over younger more skilled franchise players with a higher ceiling. Similar to 👻 🐻 being on PP1 over Seider.
@@AKA_Keegs If Seider gets replaced by another PP specialist for the 2nd straight season then thats speaks volumes that Seider is not as good as people think he is.
Weird when they recommend Seider just for peripherals. He's hasnt been PP1 for 2 years as he plays the tough minutes. Then the next defenceman they recommend is Brock Faber whom has no peripherals lol. Matheson is easily the best value right now as the Hutson hype makes him a bargain on a bad performing PP that will only be better with Laine and yet Mikey still put up points everywhere including shorthanded where his minutes will only go up with pk'rs Kovacevic/Harris gone. The tough minutes will go to Guhle/Savard. Matheson is miles better than Seider/Faber in points leagues and drafted later than BOTH!

I haven’t checked ADP, but I think it’s cause FP is a bit high on the rookie Montreal Dman? Definitely a big Matheson fan, almost always grab as a D2 or D3
