Truth is Hockey Canada is still defending their player choices for the world juniors, in spite of the absolute failure of those choices two years in a row. The powers that be that control hockey, from minor hockey on up, needs to be overhauled. It's like a protected boys club with no accountability.

It sure is tough at the top when you play a full month almost exclusively against the bottom feeders of the league. Till the Leafs stop playing mostly AHL teams then maybe you can start to take them a little more seriously.

Leafs were the only team that had 5 weekend back-to-backs in a row as well. I didn't know that Boston, Dallas, Islanders and Flyers were mostly AHL teams. Maybe that's on me....or maybe that's on you lol

As of today Jan. 8th, they are 3 points out of first place with half the season done and a lot of injuries in the first half including to their best player who played hurt for the entire season or missed games. Of course, it’s reasonable.

Columbus never catches a break? How about drawing the Leafs in 2020 Qualifying Round?

Lmao first off, that division sucks now comparatively, and Corsi is one of the best indicators of future success, and the Leafs are in the bottom half of the league. They're frauds.

What you just said makes zero sense, they're not in the same division or conference. And Toronto has only won 1 playoff round in about 20 years, and haven't been to a cup final since 1967. ...pretty sure Oilers fans don't need to be upset about a single thing in regards to Toronto 😂

Brilliant. The division with presidents trophy and cup winners is a weak division. Thanks for the brilliant insight. The weak divisions are in the western conference with bottom feeder teams.
