Maybe even a secret child he intends to hide and protect from the world with lies. Just like his mother intended to do for them. A child born in secret. (Aqua's a former gyno after all. He can deliver a baby. That's got to be a set up for that.)
I feel like that's more of Aqua finally realizing that he has someone who supports and cherishes him rather than him feeling the same way towards Ruby as Ruby feels about him

im in the akane camp as yes it weird for siblings to kiss but its also not done in a way to glorify it. Aqua definitely doesnt seem as into it as Ruby and even looked like he was caught off guard, so hopefully Aka and Mengo can just wrap this plot up nicely
Akane camp for me she’s best girl 😂, but also cuz while the incest bait is suspect, it’s pretty clear now Aqua won’t take it too far. Plus Aka didn’t go overboard with the kiss as well. It happened and there’s like 50% chance they’ll move on in the next 2 chapters.
I noticed that during this entire chapter Ruby was Sarina and she had no stars in her eyes. In contrast Aqua always kept his stars, even if at the end it dropped back to a single light star. So Aqua still has the eyes of a liar for this chapter. I don't know if he's lying to himself by resisting Ruby, or if he's still revenge obsessed and lying to Ruby to get what he wants, but incest hasn't won yet. I'm still holding out hope that now Ruby has finally fulfilled the dream and wishes of Sarina that she'll let it go and accept that Aqua isn't Gorou anymore.
Remember Ruby told Aqua to support his idol to find meaning in his life, and who was Gorou's Idol? Who has been Aqua's Idol his entire life? Ai. So there's a real possibility that she's pushing him down the same path as Hikaru, where anything goes and to regret nothing if it's for your idol.

I have not felt this empty reading manga since I've finished Kodomo no Jikan. Seriously,I've fell less disturbed watching "the scene" from Yosuga no Sora.
