Have you done baton vs. dagger sparring? How did you find it?

This is what I imagine when people say learn how to fight instead of owning a gun. Why not do both?

Yeah, this is from a medieval manuscript but using a shortish stick like this seems relatively practical to me. We mostly do it for fun but I think it does teach some skills.

With the pool noodle I barely feel it, tbh. Not a problem at all.
