To be fair, there are not enough rooms to have one held exclusive for each individual committee and subcommittee. Particularly for public hearing settings. The rooms are shared and scheduled, and the name plates swapped out for each different group. Thus it is inevitable that a smaller committee will leave a large number of empty seats in the room, as only committee members are allowed in those seats. Other members of Congress who wish to be present can only be seated in the visitor/media gallery during the session.

The objective of the LifeLog concept was "to be able to trace the 'threads' of an individual's life in terms of events, states, and relationships", and it has the ability to "take in all of a subject's experience, from phone numbers dialed and e-mail messages viewed to every breath taken, step made and place gone". It was shut down in Feb 2004 due to fierce public outcry, also in Feb 2004 Facebook was established doing the same thing. Coincidence?

It's only the Ontario college of psychologists attempting to remove Dr. Peterson's licence, though considering his licence to practice clinical psychology was obtained in Ontario, he wouldn't really have a licence to practice anywhere unless he was granted licences by other provinces or institutions in the United States.

I am a Canadian that left Canada with my family and moved to the US weeks before the trucker protest in Canada. The protest and the government response to that protest solidified and supported my decision. The US constitution has to certainly be one of if not the greatest piece of government legislation ever written. The US government would love to have the level of control over its citizens that the Canadian government has over its citizens. There is one thing stopping them, and it is the foundation of your nation based on the constitution, which enshrines personal rights and freedoms as part of being a US citizen. Land of the free and home of the brave, I am greatful to be a guest with the ability to work and contribute to the US with the goal of becoming a naturalized citizen.

That’s the issue. He being Canadian had to unique opportunity to bring up the actualized use of this system to remove access to bank accounts of citizens who had beliefs in opposition to their gov that many in the US may not be aware of.
I too am Canadian and I am very disappointed in how our Gov is taking the rights of all of us away. But not surprised, I only pray that more people have the courage to speak out before it is too late and it is almost too late.

There's cameras every corner,house,phones. They have facial recognition etc and with AI processing they CAN watch and put together with CONTEXT, EVERYTHING. and it will organize and keep record or everything. They could even have drones that enforce in real time.

We may see, the world finally conquered under one banner. The perfect dictator who finally enslaves the entire world, and for the first time they'll finally have stripped the one thing that they could never take from the slaves of every era, HOPE. There would be no hope, no possibility od escape (every inch of the world accounted for) not even the hope of ending oneself. It's like a karmic irony for the conditions our cattle and chickens (factory farming, I'm not against ranching traditionally) that we may live in that way soon.

Dr Peterson, you were brilliant as ever at this important US House Judiciary committee. I'm in the UK and we have had people being de-banked here too, from politician Nigel Farage to a retired vicar who questioned why his bank had to have rainbow flags etc in their branches during a certain month during the summer. It is appalling what happened to the truckers and their supporters in Canada. I wonder if they can all take a class action against the Canadian government and the banks ? They all deserve ample financial compensation. You gave a great speech here, as well as succinct answers to the questions you were posed. You are a shining light in a dark world and millions of us are so grateful for all you do.

I am so glad to see this going on in congress. Every time I get a questionnaire about the issues I am most concerned with, I am appalled that this issue of a citizen’s privacy is not ever on the list of check boxes. Big government is terrifying.

It's quite easy to understand. Some do not wish to "feel" they are responsible for the horrors unleashed upon others so that they may enjoy a comfortable existence at the expense of others. Those under the yoke of rulers need only do what they are told without guilt because they are being ruled and have no participation in decision of the cruelty of their leaders

I'm a genuinely big fan of Dr. Peterson, bought multiple of his books and online programs, and his presentation was fantastic. But I still have to laugh at him a bit when he said, "Do I have my 5 minutes or do I not?" after speaking for 7 and a half minutes. Then he said "10 more seconds" and proceeds to go for 6 times that duration. I hope that was by design because that's the subtlest form of comedy I've ever seen if he did that on purpose.🤣🤣
LOL I was just thinking time flies when one is "correctly oriented toward the mark", to use his turn of phrase. At the beginning he was stilted and frequently referred to his notes, but by the end he was winging it and performed the verbal equivalent of dancing.
He has said elsewhere that his own family tells him he _really_ likes to talk. :) 30:19 Even Rep. Cammack got off a small joke about it!

I’m a Chinese. My bank account just got frozen because of the suspension of being scammed. Moreover, an officer is appointed to educate me about some anti scam knowledge for 7days in this month. Does it sound ridiculous ? Now I can’t even realize my rights and boundary.
It’s clear most of the room were more interested in clock watching, than they were in listening to the ideas. Those are the people that actively want the things Jordan is warning us about.

Dr Peterson. I can't thank you enough for speaking for us, the people of the US. We need not people who have the grasp of history and grasp of current events to recognize the parallels of political direction contrasted by the ignorance of the majority of the common people, then articulate it so that more people can understand. The older immigrant refugees who I've known from living in Boston in the 1990s speak of these parallels in politics and propaganda they've seen firsthand, before they were pressed and brutalized by their own people, before heroic US troops fought for their freedom. Now they warn the children of those heroes that it's happening to us, play by play, and we're allowing it. Sometimes I feel like nobody's listening. I hope they'll listen to you before it's too late. Thanks again.
