    We really need to reframe this conversation: Standards = Values. Picky = Unrealistic expectations. There's a tremendous difference. Relationships work when both partners have shared VALUES. There's nothing "picky" about that. I highly value health and fitness, and ambition (to name a few), so I certainly won't partner well with a lazy couch potato who plays video games all day. Values are what guide us in life. Values are what we hold most important in life. Don't let anyone call you "picky" just because they themselves don't share your values!!! And let's stop using the term "standards," not only is it just an incorrect use of the term, but it immediately triggers opposition in people. The term is VALUES. Define your values and find someone who shares your values. Period.

    Interesting conversation. I stay in Houston, I agree with some stuff and not with others. The long short is women want marriage and kids but only with the right guy. For this reason, women are all messing with the same guys. Women are dating the 37 yr surgeon who's 6'2 who's handsome hoping she's the one to change him. It's overly ideologist. They be on rotation with other women and those men are on rotation with other men. I'm 30, educated, and most chicks are the same in Houston. I don't date men so I can't speak to men, but many of your responses in this podcast alone speak to why many women have challenges. My last comment, I think women really have no idea how few options there are for most men. Like I guess if I got flirted with Everytime I walk out the house I would think it's normal too, but most been, dating in Houston is a ghost town, even when the are more women then men. Most just not serious and the one's who are, want superman

    • @EJIMANnenaNgozi
      @EJIMANnenaNgozi  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is facts! Your so right. I love how balanced you are. Both men and women need to evaluate what is a need vs a want. Hard to meet very establish black men who don’t have many options. It’s the reality. Maybe the 5,9” guy may be a bit more humble haha.

      @@EJIMANnenaNgozi kinda sorta. I have 3 masters, most of my friends have phDs, and meeting even trying to meet borderline educated women is challenging because they are not out in bars/club and not on dating apps. I recognize women like the idea of being found at HEB or a random day at Cyclebar, but it's not realistic. Good men and women exist but there is no central location to meet really.

    • @cdshannon23
      @cdshannon23 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EJIMANnenaNgozi not really. I live in Houston I've been in Atlanta even lived in Seattle. is it just a new Norm as there is no real need for women to socialize with men anymore. women typically would drive mating and dating because men needed to be with women; it was a strong biological driver. however now that when the technology age women don't need men. women get their social life via their friends and they don't depend on a partner which is vastly different than men. Women don't need children anymore and they can have love for a dog or a plant which men don't align with that either. Women don't need to meet men for money cuz most women have a stable job. There is a reason why manosphere and ppl like Kevin Samuels became popular, because alot of men aren't used to the new normal. Most men are upset because they are not the top 10-20% and have zero prospects, but once they accept they won't be married, have kids, etc. life will be easier for them. Depressed yes, but the woman hate will subside. Women in the 21st century will have more fulfilling, fun, capitalistic, and longer Iives then men. It's just for hard for men to stomach it still.
      Note, note the only reason why I use 10 to 20% of men because in general women are hypergomist which they want only they people make more than them therefore only the top 10-20% will have a significant amount of money to get with someone to marry. Dating is different, women will date whomever as long as their handsome, but they won't show that person off to their friends or family unless he's the 10-20%.

      @@cdshannon23this is a very good point! As a single woman in Houston, I wonder where to mingle with single educated men in this city. @@aswilled1Dating is not bad for all women, From my 47 years old of experience. Women who are the dominate preference don't complain about dating
      The women who have the best time dating
      1. Ages 25 years and Under
      2. Has pretty priviledge or is the epitome of eye candy
      3. Has Athlethic or Slim thick build
      A woman who is all three is having the best time of her life dating.
      Normally i noticed women 35 to 49 speaking on the dating pool in mass. These ages usually have the hardest time dating. In America the typical age a woman is married is between the ages 26 to 29. So after 30 Women in America will have diminishing returns. I dont know about Africa. But American black men 30s and 40s want young wives. Some settle for women their age. But my first wife was 18 when i met her, my next wife will be 18 or 19 too. Only 26% of Black American women are being married. The make up of men who marry them are primarily men willing to settle but also a small percentage of men who actually find all they want in a wife. I married my Ex wife because she was every thing i wanted in a wife and even more.
      i digress. Black American women rarely are married because
      1. About 70% of them have children
      2. About 4 out of 5 of them are obese
      3. Sassy Mouth and Bad attitudes
      4. They are not submissive

    Do a live or maybe just a regular video about MEN YOU ARE NOT ATTRACTED TOO, They keep pursuing and persistently trying to prove their worth to you.
    Its a thing out there that is being propagated saying men need to be more persistent if a woman rejects you, your suppose to keep trying and win her over so she grows on you.
    I PERSONALLY, move on right away , if she is hard to get, she is hard to keep, an she gonna be hard to get along with, I like my women easy.
    if she rejects me i just stop talking and walk away.
    My motto is if she aint easy for me, She is not my type, "i like women who like me."
    I THINK THE ISSUE IS THAT MAN WAS PERSISTENTLY CHASING YOU, Because told thats what men are suppose too.
    i have heard older men say this growing up and i have heard females of all ages say this to me because i refuse to chase them or at the first rejection i just give up and move on. Rejection = give up on her.
    An i had girls tell me wow your just gonna give up that easy. I am like i not finna stand here trying to convince you to talk to me or give me your number. i not going to try to jump through hoops or prove to you why you should go for me, Ill just go an find a woman who clicks with me right away. i am not looking for struggle love and im not trying work hard.

    • @EJIMANnenaNgozi

      Interesting perspective. I think theirs a generational and cultural perspective. Older and foreign men were taught to “chase” like you mentioned.

    • @genovasquez8361
      @genovasquez8361 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@EJIMANnenaNgozi yes I started off chasing, but noticed better quality women were the ones who chased me.
      So any woman I get from approaching in any way is simply just bedtime fun. She will never be anything more. I value the women confident enough to approach me.
      I noticed the women who chase me treat you better and never cheat.
      Chasing is harassing. And females are the weaker vessels. So chasing them can be scary. Why chase when you can just replace.
      But the idealism of chasing is predatory. She is not showing interest or she said she is not interested. Why keep trying. The time and energy could be better spent moving in to next chick. It's so many other girls you could go to next. Never focus on one. She is not the only one or even the best you can do. There is always someone better around the corner.
      I teach younger men never chase women. Infact just get a hairstyle women love dress dapper or get some drip, get and athletic build and showcase it and watch women of all races approach you.
      Just having a six pack and good hair had tons of foreign and exotic women approaching me like crazy.

      AS a black American man, i have seen this first hand. I remember my friend alls he ever wanted was to be husband and father. An his ex wife divorced him after she got her third child an never married again because she didnt want to lose her benefits and have to live under mans roof. His first childs mother refused to marry him, but finnessed him twice into giving her children because she promised him they would marry when she was older if she gives him kids. She knew he was looking to start a family and played on his youth and naiviety.
      i have met women who didnt know and didnt have a relationship with me, but because i had good hair, light skin and my eyes change colors in the sun, an becaue i had lean slim build i had girls asked to get them pregnant in my teens and twenties. i always asked what about marriage. i heard from these women i dont want to have to listen to NO man or follow a man, i just want a baby not a husband. i HEARD THIS FROM BOTH BLACK AND WHITE WOMEN.
      Now of course mostly all the women who were my girlfriends wanted to marry me, but its ironic that girls who just wanted a hook up or one night stand wanted a baby right there.
      i was born in the 70s, thats where women started opting for government assistance over a man, i know women who have done this for generations.
