the funny part is that harstem corrected a few things that are actually grammatically correct lol, e.g. the first two commas of that last sentence in the report are correct afaik.

From experience, you play vs one weirdo even if you won you're so tilted. If you queue vs the weirdo again, you're playing tilted vs a guy who has a million times more practice doing the weird than you have against it. That's how you win once and lose twice.
I am absolutly on Amaris side. Made it with this Protoss cheese to Diamond 1 in my first season years ago. Didn't know how to play but this cheese just need 60APM. IMBA on lower levels.
Whats funnier to me isnt his correcting, its the fact that he was right, THEN went on to make the SAME mistake on the complaint form as his opponent made in the match 🤣
@mothrahlurker788 how would that even make sense? Youre suggesting it was the other player who submitted, and not the guy it appears to be? Let it tick over, you'll soon realise how little sense it makes lol.

warp in will always have outlier potential, and should probably be addressed through looking at cooldowns vs build times; realistically one of the best balance moves would probably be to swap warp-in and build times for Gateway units: this way there is a real choice in the mid and late game as to what state a gateway should be in, you still get the aggressive spike if you need it, and "should I turn this gateway into a warpgate?... why not". for Zerg to fast aggression cheese they need to walk across the map, for Tarren they need to fly the building, build it close, or walk across the map. For Protos to fast aggression cheese they need to get a warp field then they can have units at your door almost as fast as Zerg on 3 hatch.
I think the fact that they won the first game and then lost two games to the same build says that they should have just ignored what their opponent was doing and done their normal thing because they clearly fucked themselves up worrying about it
No wonder he lost, if he is going to act like such a villain. Also, i rember using the warp prisim ALOT when i first started playing, just loved the idea of warping in waves of goons, like the ai does in the campagin.
Looking at the corrected balance complaint (4:06); I think the names of the races should be capitalized but not the names of the units. Anyone cares to teach me about proper starcraft grammar?
4:06 you missed correcting ''its'' to ''it's''. Some of the other sentences made no logical sense. Also, I don't believe there was any reason to correct the unit names with capitalized letters. Zealot is not a title (Queen) or a persons name (Johnathan Warp Tossington) Also, despite being technically correct, ''he did still win'' is far from sounding elegant enough for such an important form. Also, speaking about past games, as if occurring in the present time, is perfectly acceptable, as far I'm aware. 5:27 Also, the O here is pronounced as the letter itself.
Just 3:46 in, but it seems from the balance complaint that it is the protoss sending this replay in. Since the terran is "educating" him about grammar. But the form was clearly written with some kind of translation program or his best try in a second language.
Now that shield batteries are a thing Banshees are rare in PvT, you have to commit to 2 to kill probes. It can be good against 1 gas but he had no reaper scout so didn't know.
Don't wanna be that guy, but since grammar is part of this video. Words like protoss, terran, reaper, prism and other units are not considered names and thus written in lowercase.
@theowlogram888 yeah, I wasn't sure about the races either, so I looked it up and its lowercase. It makes sense since you wouldn't write "human" in uppercase. Subgroups like "Taldarim" are uppercase which also aligns with nationalities like "a German", "an Englishman".
Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt über die Vielfalt der in diesem Thread geteilten Perspektiven. Es ist, als würde man in ein Kaleidoskop von Ideen blicken.🔥
I love that harstem always reads the complaint form EXACTLY as written and doesnt stumble over it at all.
Do you think he rehearses it before recording? :)
@@ufdarxy 100% he asks hamster if the rehearsal is good too
LOL it was so perfect and well read that I literally hesitated and wondered WTF a ripper looked like.
"Zealots need no gas, but strong like ultralisks" is now engrained into my vocabulary.
space orc
Amaris correcting his opponent's English is wild lol
It must be a setup for the captain, right?

I bet he had fun doing that lol
That's crazy lol
I love hamster voiceovers and commentary
Hamster the English teacher grading the IMBA complaint killed Amaris. The rest of the video buried him.
Sis is korrekt!
IODIS is such a good show man, whenever those get posted I call in sick from work.
i wish i had to work only 20 mins a day
Outstanding banter from red, quoting Confucius as he closes out a game 😂
the production value is through thw roof on this video
The corrected complaint form is just, *Mwah*, chef`s kiss.

that was my favourite episode so far. The sports teacher line at the end killed me haha
Video editing is amazing. Nicely done Mr Editor
i love how the protoss managed to hit the only dark spot to drop units in the third game
Always awesome to see new "is it imba" videos

Captain's last question nailed it. 🤣
I have to say, the Protoss gamestyle looks really fun :)
Whats funnier to me isnt his correcting, its the fact that he was right, THEN went on to make the SAME mistake on the complaint form as his opponent made in the match 🤣
Which makws me suspicious that the opponent found a way to circumvent Harstem checking who really sent it in.

The edit on this video was epic.
"Zealots feels like an ultralisk"
Imbalance confirmed.
Paperlots :D
Love this series, Captain. Thanks for keeping it alive
Not only is Kevin a great Protoss player, but he is also an English grammar teacher.
Excellent video, that last roast was gold!
2 base 8 gate is not weird at all. Its like THE standard cheese to go against a T on d3 d2
If you want someone to read poorly written English as-is, Harstem is your guy!
Ahhh the finishing roast is so good! :D

the barracks stats are great
All things considered, this player obviously is really good, he just fumbles when it comes to unanticipated attacks.
The fart noise, Hamster is gold
As a meanless warp prism enjoyer, I can confirm Protoss is imba
11:21 your opinion is why he submitted, perfecly valid

TRUE
I would like to remind Captain, that not so long ago he uploaded a video where he died to the same cheese 6 times in a row ;/ so..... 2:18 :d
