That was a very fascinating account. I enjoyed this one very much. The element of the circus and the beautiful love story was sad and touching. Thank you.
Direct from the author: “Some of the feedback I've gotten has been about how forced the gender stuff appears. Cahaya is meant to be whatever gender you assign to them. I wanted it to be very fluid on that. Also, Fraust is a Clown, and can change their gender at will.“
Yeah, gender fluidity and 100 different genders, respect my self interpretation, all that silliness. But, is that how the clowns originally worked? I was initially confused both by the pronouns and the re-introduction of clowns as actual people. This time around, they're not human but they are people, as opposed to the first weird article I read of them, SCP 2912. I know not all SCP lore can be true at the same time.
This made me so sad but near the end he got some closure at least. But it breaks my heart knowing that he could never die even when inside the top hat. At least he got a chance to say goodbye to the woman he loved. This was very well written. I do want to read about the circus of the disquieting. Sounds to me like this may be an interesting read. The circus of the disquieting has always been a huge question mark to me. Breeding such humanoid creatures to be entertainment for the masses, it is quite a disturbing thing. Up to this point we didn't know exactly how the circus of the disquieting moved around let alone functioned and how they were able to keep track of all of their clowns as well as their assets now we know. I would have to say the top hat is probably something old very old dare I say it was probably owned by Alistair Crowley himself the world's foremost thermatologist through the 1800s to the 1900s I believe I'm not sure. So the real question is if the hat functioned like a magical GPS radar system most likely they have a replacement.
Just to make sure I'm understanding the end. The two are dead, but "live" together within the hat/crown? Or...did for a time, but only the one remains?
icky put Fraust in the hat and gave it to Cahaya when they left so they could be together. Fraust could never leave the circus otherwise. Whenever Cahaya put it on, they became one person. It was never going to stop Cahaya from dying, but it would let them be together. Then they died and Fraust was left alone.

Sitting at home having Corona, this is a most welcome distraction.
You may never read this, my dearest Volgun but you have singlehandedly first introduced me to, made me a fan of and, i fear, an addict to narrated horror.
I am forever thankful
Get well soon m8
Another great episode! I look forward to hearing more about The Circus of the Disquieting!
That was a very fascinating account. I enjoyed this one very much. The element of the circus and the beautiful love story was sad and touching. Thank you.
AYY Volgun thank you for the upload! your quality is amazing. Thank you alongside the exploring series for all the amazing content!
It's so fun to watch a bunch of Volgun videos, wait like two months then binge 10.
Direct from the author:
“Some of the feedback I've gotten has been about how forced the gender stuff appears.

Silliness eh?
So other people shouldn’t respect your identity because it’s “all that silliness”?
That was weirdly heartwarming. Also, “Site Director ‘Aktus’”? First name: “DJK”? Ha. Nice.
Oh, that's some sad stuff. This article is honestly great! It made me care about a lovecraftian Clown-monster.
Another great video!! Thank you for making these!!
BRAVO for the voice acting! Actually moved me to tears. I'm sharing this with my boyfriend. :-)
My favorite of all @TheVulgun videos made.
Thank you Volgun. This Sunday’s video really got me. 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for all you do. I get a little giddy about my scp training. I like to think your junior researchers are a cut above.
what I was expecting: woah putting on the hat makes you Crazy
what I got: sad clown love story
Love an SCP that can swerve on me, this is a good one. can't possibly comment on all your vids but I always love your readings
Immortal life, while a comforting thought in the short term, only brings sorrow and loss while time marches ever onward.
I'm really glad the containment procedure was revised at the end.
"Would you let me go back to my box now I am so tired" OOF
If these were on spotify, I would be listening to them all day everyday. 🙏

Thanks for the great video!
a wholesome if sad story from the Circus of the Disquieting. well done.
As a native Cheesehead, I was glad to find an SCP from Wisconsin.
Thanks again volunteers. Haunting yet fulfilling, as always.
I've been reading Dread & Circuses and am happy to see that Icky and Manny are mentioned in this one
A very sad SCP, but that's why I love it so much.
Thanks again for this great vid. I'm gonna brb and cry a bit now.
First thought when I heard "clown" and "milk"
*When the milkshake tastes sus....*
The taste of immortality.
And possibly cotton candy?
Volgun , my man, awesome job
Great work. I am always happy to see a new video.
No comments are focusing on the Frosty the snowman gag. The old silk hat with magic left in it, white complexion and name “Fraust” cant be coincidences.
Me putting this on in the background and hearing "Madison, Wisconsin" took me out a bit. I go to the University of Wisconsin, Madison. spooked me for a sec
I love listening to these videos
This is so far one of my favourite SCP articles. The researcher feels more human than others I have listened to so far and them letting the entity be reunited with his items in containment is a nice touch. Well done indeed to the author(s) and superbly voiced by Vulgan as always!
Ah, the perfect way to spend time at work: The Volgun
A nice twist on Frosty's tophat. I like it.
I truly love the skips like this one.
One of my favourite things about the SCP universe is that not all SCPs are these terrifying man slaying beasts some are just sadness manifested or something sweet and comforting the universe feels so much less two dimensional with these kinds of stories
I used to live not far from this street. Never would have guessed such a thing occurred. Unless I got amnesticized of course.
Painting of a Sad Clown turned SCP.
Never expected a tragic love story like this from an SCP.
Tragic? Getting to grow old together and getting to say goodbye?
Man I've never had an SCP reading resonate with me so hard. The appeal of being truly one in the same with someone you love absolutely. I believe we as humans hold each other close in a loving embrace to experience closeness physically mentally and emotionally. So the appeal of being unfathomably close to a loved one I can understand it. Also simply just a very well done story. and excellent reading as always
I just realized this is frosty the fukkin snowman's hat

Hey finally a reasonable scp
Ugh. Right in my heart this time. Poor Fraust...
That was... touching. Very much so.
Just to make sure I'm understanding the end. The two are dead, but "live" together within the hat/crown?
Or...did for a time, but only the one remains?
Pretty sure it's the latter, sadly.
😢
icky put Fraust in the hat and gave it to Cahaya when they left so they could be together. Fraust could never leave the circus otherwise. Whenever Cahaya put it on, they became one person. It was never going to stop Cahaya from dying, but it would let them be together. Then they died and Fraust was left alone.
@@JesseMcCullough Ah, thanks.
Guess I missed a part while listening in, so this clears it all up.
Seriously, all praise to TheAlmightyFish. Not only is her heart in the right place, she's a better swordsman than you. Respect, milady!
Hmm, with the clowns and the Ringmaster hat it makes me think of ICP.
Regardless of how you feel about the writing. This hits differently if you've lost someone you love.
20:47 - I was wondering if there'd be a Frosty the Snowman reference in there.
Love everything you provide for us Dr
Omg I love me some Circus of the Disquieting, I’m excited!
Perfect timing I was looking for something 😎😎😎
THis one definitely has a sort of spirited away feeling to it
Da king is back
This turned out a lot more sad/heart warming than i was prepped for.
oh right, I forgot that clowns were anomalous and could be bred.
mmm love clown milk
