My son just picked up his ordered 858 rxc and here we go again he had to buy the Garmin screen hood to fit screen tunnel protecters no cat stickers on new hood over 20000 and still need studs he should of been able to order it that way sorry to hear about layoffs at cat
Had time on catalyst last year my father bought one. Iv been a cat guys for years raced pro XC and SX 17 years on cats. My fathers ski doos ride better going slow but going balls out idk like both. Don’t like the seat on the catalyst needs to be softer. We clutched the catalyst drag racing 850 doo and Ctech 800 the 600 Catlyst crushed both out the hole. I was on the doo 850 took about 500ft to catch and go by. The 800 cat took longer. Idk very impressed with the Catlyst.
Read somewhere theres a new chassis for a 4 stroke coming. It was refered as the sister chassis and will have a different name..Hopefully soon we will see
@@sledaddicz I've run a few sleds into the mid teens and a couple into the 20s but it's time to let this one go. It's a 600 Ace powered ski-doo that my 15 yr old son has been riding it for 3 years. He's bored with it now so I picked up a next to new M8000. Hopefully going from 60 hp to 160 doesn't go to his head.
Not a good season for you last winter? 😂 I'd be extremely grateful to have the snow you guys had. I put on zero miles on my sled last winter since there was no snow in my area in Minnesota.
@@sledaddicz There was a regular ZR, a Riot Trail set up. They also had tall windshields. the RXC was defiantly not the only trail sled in the catalyst chassis
So it's a secondary sled for people who have a soft spot for Cat? I don't get the product market fit for this model. It's a 16k+ sled. For that money you can almost get into a 650 VR1, which is more capable on so many levels. I get that's fun for day rides and messing around, but snowmobiling is an enthusiast rich man's sport now. At this price the people are looking to do high mileage high performance.
I see it's a twin rail, that will make a big difference in the way it handles, which should make it handle much better then their stupid alfa rail. I very much dislike my 22 m8, soon as I can I'm going to a Ski-Doo. I hate this single rail set up.
My heart will always be with Doo. But that’s a slick looking sled. Great reviews guys.
Thanks Derek! It was really impressive. Appreciate your comment. Cheers, Jesse
Cool sled looks like a fun sled to jump and throw around. Great video.
Thanks man! Appreciate that. It is definitely a wicked sled. Cheers, Jesse
Hopefully they update the hand warmers. Nice sled
Yes! I hope so too. Thanks for watching man!
Hell with the hand warmers!! Let's get some belt and pully options!!!
Maybe 10hp!! Then we have a competitive sled!! C Mon Textron

My secondary sled is a 2014 and has over 17,000 km on it.

Wish I bought a RXC over the XCR this yr, hopefully the 858 is good and min issues. If so I'll dump the XCR end of this season
Can't wait to see what it's like!

Man that's rough! Hopefully you get a good season this year.

That’s an RXC… that is literally their cross country race sled
That's correct. It was also one of the only trail catalysts available last season.

That sled is green! Not yellow.
Thank you!! It definitely is green.
Was it bought or was it given by Cat?
Why would it be given? Of course it was bought. It is our buddy Jason's sled.
Ya it was a 🎁. Why wouldn’t cat give him a sled? 🤦♂️
Lol.. why would cat give him a sled??
@@sledaddicz no dought…man I been riding cats since my kitty cat. I want my new 25 858 paid for 😂😂😂😂

Same suspension thats been on cats trail sleds since 2007.
Only mountain sleds have single rail.
