It’s now the end of 2023 and The Savvy Squaddie has hit some milestones this year thanks to all of the support that you all show me.
In this video, I reveal the total amount of income I have made throughout 2023. Both with TH-cam ad revenue and through other means like referrals, donations and affiliates.
I also answer a number of your questions from best side hustles to the forces help to buy scheme and I end the video setting some goals for 2024.

Thanks for the content mate. I’m not sure if you’ve covered this yet, but I would definitely recommend some content on saving some cash to procure a property whilst in service. I took the hit for a few years and managed to scrape a deposit together for a house - it turns out to be the best thing I ever did as it’s paying dividends now and me and my family have somewhere to live beyond the service. Taking into account the opportunities to save whilst serving, this is one of the best things I would recommend to any colleague.

Thanks for the comment. That is hopefully a topic I am looking to cover sometime in 2024. The military is a great place to save up, buy a property or more and get oneself sorted for life outside. For sure a great topic to cover.

I stream myself, and also in the forces. However, one aspect you didn't take into consideration for your analytics is that it changes your tax code on your main income. If its below the medium/high bracket.
My first year streaming, I worked out just a little over £11k worse off (additiinal tax rate on my main wage, business development, business investment in assets and running costs.)
I think highlighting to your viewers that it impacts your tax code and that sort of information certainly helps accredit your hard work!!
