hey I'm not really someone who likes to rap but rather sing, can someone maybe recommend me a channel like this one who's at least barely as helpful as this person 😂💞
I'm trying to learn Jennie's fast rap in DDU-DU DDU-DU. I'm a good rapper, but it's in korean so that's why I have some problems Edit 1 year later: Lmao I actually learnt it with an ease baby idk what I was talking about😂
CAIT A Same. I also love rapping so much! When it comes to rapping in english, I'm really really good, but when it comes to korean.... it's simply hard to pronounce korean words if you're not fluent in korean
WOW THAT IS SO GREAT TO KNOW! Congratssss!!!! I'm super happy that my video helped but I'm honestly happier that you were able to learn Agust D!! Yoongi would be proud 😂
the reason why 네 is pronounced as 니 exactly when saying 네가 which become 니가 is that there's also 내가 네가 is for the personal pronoun "you" and 내가 is for the personal pronoun "I" and if anyone already learned Hangul probably knows how similar the pronunciation is even native speakers sometimes can't tell if you're talking about them or about yourself ( I mean it depends on the situation ) but anyways they prefer to change the 네 to 니 so it would be easier to understand HOPE IT HELPED IF ANYONE'S CONFUSED
AHHHHH THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING IT HAHA I only got to fully understand why after I made this video lol I researched because someone said that 네 is always pronounced 'ne' lol and what you said is what I've found in my research too! Thank you again hehe pinning this!
Even knowing the explanation, I'm STILL CONFUSED why they would make 2 of the most common words, with completely opposite meanings, sound the same 😂 I love the Korean language but this one bothers me lol
I don't really hear 처럼 pronounced with an exact round o 😂 And I only inserted Lisa simply because her line has '처럼' in it lmao. And based on my research, "네 is also pronounced 니 when it is the contraction of 너의 (meaning ‘your’)." 😁
I also have another 1 tip that may not work for others but works for me which is to keep on listening to the song Do what you did which was tip 1 Then try to rap one line until I know it.
when i learn raps, i slow it down and quicken the speed everytime i perfect the slower speed. your tils are amazingg and now i meed help in knowing how to mix the audio ;-;

omggg are you a fan of 3racha and stray kids???? i love your examplessssss especially changbin's part in hellevator it took me a longer time to master those parts more than the others so yea this could help to those who are having a hard time rapping fast in korean
Omg your english and korean accent isn't sound like a filipino. I will never know you are filipino if I didn't check your other YT vids 😂😂 this is awesome! thanks for your help!
Aww haha that would be fun! I’ve actually randomly thought about holding a rap workshop kinda thing when we were told to think of activities we would like to happen in school... But it wouldn’t be applicable there 😂
I like to rap, because I can't sing well, but rapping goes quite good and smoothly. Except the fast raps. I alwas break my tongue when I try to rap fast in Korean. :D Some of them are not so bad, but I have problems with most of the fast raps. Your video helped me a lot, thank you so much! :)
OMG thank you SO MUCH until now i just havent found my own style of rapping i just hope one day i could find and be confident to rap at least in front of my friends 😅😅
atiqah aqilah No problem! Just keep practicing and you’ll eventually get it, but always remember to enjoy doing it because for me it’s the key to acing something 😂 Aww you can do it! It’s normally like that; you have to gain confidence to do it in front of your friends before you do in public haha
this is how i learn korean raps 1: find the song you want to learn 2: find a channel that does easy lyrics videos. make sure their easy lyrics are easy to pronounce! (i use easy lyrics from the channel darkness) 3: slow down the video. start with 0.5. once you feel more confident, do 0.75. when you feel like you can do 0.75 perfectly, go to normal speed 4: memorize. sometimes it can be difficult to memorize korean lyrics but if you keep rapping along to the lyrics it will eventually stick in your brain and you'll be able to rap it 5: rap the whole line now. now that you learned the rap, you can rap it fully! if you keep messing up on a certain part, practice that more and when you feel confident try doing the whole thing again
Yess!! Im also practicing rapping a korean song and all of she said was right and effective because me myself I do that. My tip to be better at rapping 1. You should should listen to it many times. 2. You should memories the tempo and the beat. 3. And when rapping sometimes their has a little pause in a lyrics where you can breath, then continue to rap. Its effective for me, but idk for you

Another tip: I’ve noticed a lot of times the romanization of the words are together (bc it’s a word duh) but in the actual rapping the rapper might accentuate it differently so try out writing down your own romanization (event though it would be technically incorrect) it helps with when to breath or stop or rap faster! Idk if it makes sense what I’m trying to say
I rap a bit(though I'm a much stronger vocalist than rapper) and I think this is going to help me out a lot! I think I know how idols do it on stage. They've recorded the song and they've probably practiced the rap a lot before recording. It works like that for me. I used to be entirely clueless about Yeri's rap from Red Velvet's Peek-A-Boo, but then I covered it and now I can rap it with no issues.
I was surprised! This was literally what I do when learning raps! Wow this is helpful! I have just learned one svt which has rap, our dawn is hotter than day, another thing which i feel helps is seeing live performances and comparing what they rap to the lyrics because sometime I feel they exclude the topik markers. Idk of all song, but I noticed this while learn our dawn. I had gotten Wonu and Mingyu's part down. Coups and vernon was tricky with Vernon's the hardest. And seeing a performance I noticed Vernon skip some of the markers like 의, 에 in few places. And for coups he had one longer line so that took me a while. But for Vernon figuring out that those markers were skipped helped me learn it better. This would be like a tip for learning a rap part of a song I feel. I might be wrong but yea hehe.
Thnks now I can finally sing on totally I know singing but i just wanted to sing jhope/suga/rm part also always I skipped it but I used this tips and can sing full on song perfectly thnks a lot 💜💜💜

Well now i know what ill be doing this summer. Thank you so much for your great advices even though i actually do everything mentioned in the vid from before, but still THANK YOU🙏🙏
Thanks so much! I tried rapping ddeang but it was too hard but I was like “at least I know one part” then I wanted to rap how you like that Lisa’s part and it really worked! Thank you so much!
Actually I have an experience in rapping since I am learning it but my pronounciation is not that clear so I'm very thankful that you made this tip and it was really helpful
omg when I learn the rap I usually like put a "/" between the words or letter so I know when the diction ends like for example bobby's rap in love scenario "o/neuri/eotteon uriye eojee deoneun nae/iri eobttaneun geon" I dont know but I think its my technique that I actually just discovered hahaha but thank you for this!
Got a hint you're a Filo but i was able to confirm it just now through one of your videos. I like your speaking voice both on English and Korean. Great job gurl!
This is exactly how I learned pronunciation in Korean lmao but personally I really don't recommend using romanization. Learning hangul definitely helps because there isn't weird inconsistencies when you read words. And you get the nuanced pronunciation easier because you don't use the pronunciation of english as a basis. Although my mouth can't actually say it properly a lot of the time, I do find it easier to at least recognize and pick up on the nuances once I learned hangul. And I say this because I did also learn songs using romanization first, but after I learned hangul, I actually found it really hard to get the phonemic nuances right for the next songs I tried to learn. And it still frustrates me because if I had never used romanization I feel like I wouldn't now be stuck in this plateau of not being able to improve. Just my tip.

Actually 처럼 IS pronounce “cho-rom” if you have an actual Korean accent, Lisa is Thai.
And “네” is only pronounce “ne” and “니” is “ni”
I don't really hear 처럼 pronounced with an exact round o 😂 And I only inserted Lisa simply because her line has '처럼' in it lmao. And based on my research, "네 is also pronounced 니 when it is the contraction of 너의 (meaning ‘your’)." 😁
cho-rom would be 초롬. so the right way is how she said.
촐럼 would be "cho-reom". 처럼 is pronounced as "Cheo-reom" to a Korean.
네 is also pronounced as 니 when it is it's with 가 because 내가 and 네가 sound alike when you say them loudly. E.g. 네가 하면 is pronounced 니가 하면.
I also have another 1 tip that may not work for others but works for me which is to keep on listening to the song

Well now i know what ill be doing this summer. Thank you so much for your great advices even though i actually do everything mentioned in the vid from before, but still THANK YOU🙏🙏
Your voice is so good, thank you for the video it help me a lot
Thanks so much! I tried rapping ddeang but it was too hard but I was like “at least I know one part” then I wanted to rap how you like that Lisa’s part and it really worked! Thank you so much!
I rap really well, (according to my friends) but this helped me improve a lot!
Actually I have an experience in rapping since I am learning it but my pronounciation is not that clear so I'm very thankful that you made this tip and it was really helpful
I can say it really takes time to master a rap like out of five times i repeat a rap verse, only 2-3 times it'll work out
I'M SO THANKFUL THAT YOU'RE A STRAYKIDS STAN💕 I THINK IM INLOVE WITH YOU❤😂
This is awesome! I finally learn how to rap! Thanks a lot for this video!!! 😃
thanks again for your precious tips, your videos are so great all the time
omg when I learn the rap I usually like put a "/" between the words or letter so I know when the diction ends like for example bobby's rap in love scenario "o/neuri/eotteon uriye eojee deoneun nae/iri eobttaneun geon" I dont know but I think its my technique that I actually just discovered hahaha but thank you for this!
"Imagine all of the kpop fanchant".

Aww thank you!!! 💙
Let me take a sec to appreciate how cool is her voice😌she does sound like a cool rapper though
i already try your tips and its working well with me. Thank you very much
