gina can you make a video on kpop vocal auditions which songs we can doo for our dance and vocal auditions and how can sing a song for kpop auditions plzzzzzzzzzz
This was such a comfortable but clearly explained session. It really brings me back to choir at school. Haven't had a chance to sing and practice like this in years. Thanks for this great resource!
There is something about her & her personality that makes these videos awesome You are yourself a institution of singing. How you stabilise your voice in different scales
Lip trill and toungue trill are the things I used to do in my childhood as a fun activity while running or walking,😂 That time Don't know it can also a be a part of Vocal warmup. It's super amazing But now I find it a little difficult to do, I just tried and no sound comes 😂 And later the sound comes is super funny. I salute to all the singers .👍✌️🤗
Thanks for sharing your warm up tips and tricks! I can tell you are so knowledgeable and have so much experience you want to share!! As I slowly catch up on all your videos, can't wait to learn more from you :)
Thank you Gina! My voice has always been too “airy” to the point when I speak my voice is just not solid enough for others to hear and sometimes it appears that I am not a confident speaker. Definite will try this every morning! By the way, I heard that it is possible to change your voice (“vocal color”?). If you have any experience or tips on that, could you do a video on that pleaseeeeeee?
Very educational - I'm not a singer, but this is good for breathing - many people do not realize how important breathing correctly is for ones health ---
Thank you so much for this video! I have never learned how to sing properly. In fact, people always tell me to shut up when I sing because i'm always off key. I would like to sing okay one day and enjoy music. I will practice diligently, thank you!
thank you for the tipss!! I am new to your channel and i didn't know that i should wear comfortable clothes while singing but now that you think about it, comparing when i have my private lessons in school uniform verses sweats and a t-shirt, comfort is key 😄
Aww, I'm so bad. I often skip warm ups because they're boring and then I go directly into singing high belted songs ^^; I'll use this video as a motivation =p
That tongue trill would be a piece of cake for French speakers, seeing as how they roll their Rs LOL Interesting also to see the overlap between singing, and acting, and even public speaking, when it comes to breathing, enunciation, volume control, and projection. Such a fun and informative video, Gina, thank you :)
Hi mam , Thx a lot for these Valuable Vocals lessons you're the best , i wanna be a kpop idol and i promise one day I'll proudly tell everyone about you on stage
7:27 I think 어(eo) is also a good scale cause when you sing 어 (eo) it comes from you stomach which is really good for vocal warm up... This is what my tuition teacher told me cause he knows music very well 7:27
I'm newbie (subscriber) these days I was quick bored and I really loved your videos which is quick different and hopefully you well lastly take care don't pressure yourself 😊☺
I think I've seen her on TV. Arirang? Was she a host/MC on TV? Her voice is nice. You'd be successful in news/podcast/voice over industry because you're pretty articulate.
I also do that vocal warm ups too when I was in a church choir for 5 years and it really helps a lot. Guaranteed 😊😉. I'm kind a suprised because kpop trainees also do the same set of warm ups. A confession: I auditioned in YG New Boy Group Zoom Auditions. Sadly, they didn't call me back nor sent me an email. But, still hoping. 😉 I love your content, Ms. Gina. You deserved this 👑 너무 너무 화이팅!
8:27 In our country "nai" means No So next time when my sister ask for one bite of my chocolate,I simply goona reply her , "Nai ,Nai,Nai, Nai, Nai," 😂 Which means (No,no,no,no,noo) Btw, the video is very interesting and helpful.Thank you Gina ------sunshine ❤️☀️
You missed out on teaching DICTION, you should make a separate video about that. Thanks for all the professional tips. KPOP missed out so much by you not debuting a complete album. You should have been the next CL
having a better breath control generally helps! any cardio like swimming, running, etc. also try to evenly breathe out during different durations like 4 bars, 6 bars, 8 bars, etc. so you get a better sense of how to control your breathing for different lengths of time.
Forever?😂 you will have to do this for as long as you want to sing well, and development varies. May not see any development for a whole year and then suddenly sing like Beyonce - very common and why it’s frustrating. But perseverance is one thing a good vocalist must have.
I think my voice isn't feminine enough. I sound like a girl who wants to be a boy 😭 I wanna get a more "girly" like voice. I've tried to sing in a "girly" tone but my voice just gets raspy.
1:37 relax
1:59 lip trill
7:01 tongue trill
7:27 scales
9:57 variation
Thanks
ty
You saved my 13 minutes' 😂😂😂😂😂
Honestly… it’s both weird and cool that she’s warming up and singing with my name
Your name is ney😮😮😮😮😮😮
When you change your scale on butter song. My mind literally blast . You literally change your scale in 1 second.
Now I think I know how "Mama Moo" got their name. It's a vocal warm up!
Thank you Gina!
When you're too broke to afford vocal lessons so you've got ✨Gina✨
😘
One day a successful idol will make her proud 💜

I can't do lip trips😭😭
not everyone can do it on their first try - it takes time! hang in there, hope practice makes perfect 🫶
Is there any more vocal exercise for breathing control while singing??😢
having a better breath control generally helps! any cardio like swimming, running, etc. also try to evenly breathe out during different durations like 4 bars, 6 bars, 8 bars, etc. so you get a better sense of how to control your breathing for different lengths of time.

I have a question like in how many days the result will get? Thanks gina i got inspiration from you😊

I think my voice isn't feminine enough. I sound like a girl who wants to be a boy 😭 I wanna get a more "girly" like voice. I've tried to sing in a "girly" tone but my voice just gets raspy.
I haven’t heard your voice but I have a feeling I will really like your original raspy voice don’t change it!
And I thought I was the only one. I mean, I sound like a boy even while speaking normally 🙃
10:17 butter song

For someone who is practicing for high mixed voice then they should ignore chest vocal fry instead of that they should do high vocal fry right?
Hi I have a question these days my mouth, vocals and lungs feels dead it feels like i'm out of breath or thirsty but i do drink water .. any advice?
it's probably because you're breathing out more than you are breathing in so try to balance out the two- let me know if this helps! :)
@@GinaEverywhere Thankyou you so much for your advice. well, I'm watching your video RN.
