Thank you for your video! I have been trying for 2 hours to figure this out watching other videos. Your video was by far the most easy, step by step process for transferring photos from my phone to my computer. This was my first attempt, and thanks to you, I was able to complete the process.
Thank you so much -- I was in tears because my phone quit transferring my pictures and I had no clue -- it was the USB cord, I had taken the old one off and put on a new short one, and that was it. Plus I did the Control A and pasted in a folder like you showed and it worked.. THANK YOU so much for taking the time to put this out there... especially about the cord...
This was an excellent explanation and it worked beautifully. Thank you. (It would be helpful to omit the background music. It was very distracting. Thank you.)
Dyslexic here. You are very detailed and super easy to follow. I was using the wrong cable and watched many other videos with no luck. Yours was the only one that mentioned the cable! Thank you so much!
This was awesome. I have limited data, slow internet so I have been emailing my photos off my phone, so a USB is the way for me. I feel like my world just got a whole lot easier transferring photos for my art business. Thank you!!!

Thank you again for taking the time to do these types of videos for people like me that feel so lost at time with something that should be so simple.
Thank you very much for informing me how to transfer pictures from my Samsung phone to a laptop, by using a USB cable. I spent all morning watching various "You Tube" videos, trying to connect with a USB cable. Congratulations to you, on your informative video. Your the "only one" who mentioned the most important fact …. "NOT ALL USB CABLES ARE THE SAME" (not all transfer data)? If I hadn't come across your TH-cam video, I'll still be trying and thinking there's something wrong with my phone? I can't thank-you enough, because there were pictures of my small children I wanted to transfer, and send to my family. I'll be the first to confess too, I'm obviously no expert with these devices. But I'm guessing, there'll be a lot of people out there like me, who didn't know there's a difference with the USB cables. If anyone is struggling to move photos using a flash drive (dual drive) being recognized (pixel wants you to format it) I have a free solution but it takes a little work: 1. Copy the memory stick to your computer. 2. Insert memory stick into pixel and format it. 3. Copy all the data back onto the memory stick from the computer. 4. Now when you insert into the pixel everything on the card will read okay. In my experience using the app memory zone (free) also helps you with view your media and move it around/transfer it easily but not necessary if you don't want to. You can use the factory app "files" instead.

Didn't have to remember which pictures I already downloaded. My Samsung S-8 will not do that feature anymore ! First I would like to thank you for making this video. And I also love your screensaver. I did hit the like button and subscribed as well. And Finally yes I do think USB is still viable. Thanks again! 😀
I have a question, if I transfer all my photos from my phone to my computer and then I proceed to deleted the photos from my phone. Will I still be able to access them on my on my computer? Without any problems?
Where are those file manager software that used to help some people yo to their backup a lot easier. I couldn't find any and this is easy for us who know computer basics but my mom can't actually do this and i can't always help her :(.
Yes I do think that the video cable is still a viable option sure there are other ways but this is a good fall back if for any reason the internet of bluetooth is not available. I love being able to have more than one option to complete a task.
Thanks for the great and quick update. This was very helpful. After transferring photos and videos from my android phone to my computer, I cannot open them any more. I saved those files in my OneDrive in my Laptop. Each of the photos and videos are now showing more than 20 GB size, with blue mountain and moon thumbnails. Please help.
I have no problem doing this. But when I get them in a folder on my PC I have a problem getting them to a website. When I drag and drop into the box where the photo needs to go it just opens a new tab and opens the photo there. I have tried this with several different photos and it is the same.

Question: When photos are transferred from Adroid to PC, does that change the Timestamp of each photo??
It changes the modified timestamp. Original date should remain.

Glad it was helpful!!
Yes I do think that the video cable is still a viable option sure there are other ways but this is a good fall back if for any reason the internet of bluetooth is not available. I love being able to have more than one option to complete a task.
I do too!

After transferring photos and videos from my android phone to my computer, I cannot open them any more. I saved those files in my OneDrive in my Laptop. Each of the photos and videos are now showing more than 20 GB size, with blue mountain and moon thumbnails. Please help.
Do you know what file type they are?
@@HelpCloud jpg and mp4
Hello, my one plus does not read in my laptop, is there anything i ought to do first....i wanted to transfer my pics but am still stuck..
So incredibly helpful. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
I have no problem doing this. But when I get them in a folder on my PC I have a problem getting them to a website. When I drag and drop into the box where the photo needs to go it just opens a new tab and opens the photo there. I have tried this with several different photos and it is the same.
Very Helpful... Thank you! Yes USB Cable is important. You never know!!!
USB cable can make or break it!
