11:17 "...no NVENC encoder" - true but it does have the VCE encoder, which is *almost* as good. But don't make people think this card lacks an encoder. That'd be the 6500 XT (and 6400... and 6300). Everything 6600 and above in AMD's Navi 2 line has VCE.
Good build. It should be noted that when using the Ryzen 5500 CPU in your build the other hardware with it will be limited to PCIE 3.0 speeds such as the SSD and the graphics card. So finding ways to save money on certain parts to mix and max for the most synergy while freeing up a bit of extra budget for 32 GB of RAM is probably the route I'd go since the RAM in the benchmark portions was getting taxed close to its limit in some games. Both the CPU and the motherboard would limit your SSD to PCIE 3.0 speeds, so you'd have to replace both of them before you'd get your return on investment with the PCIE 4.0 SSD. I would probably go for a Ryzen 5600 CPU instead and get a Samsung 970 or 960 500 GB NVME SSD which are PCIE 3.0 SSDs but are still plenty fast and good quality for anyone's general needs, while being less expensive than PCIE 4.0 SSDs. Then to shave off a bit of money an RX 6600 XT would get the job done nicely at 1080p even if it's clock speeds aren't as good as the RX 6650 XT. A better CPU and moving up to 32 GB RAM could help out with the 1% lows area for some games and give you more flexibility for streaming or gaming related videos since that requires more RAM to run multiple programs at one time. Getting an SSD heatsink could also be helpful since the Asus B450M motherboard you used doesn't seem to have a heatsink for the SSD, and most NVME SSDs can run a bit hot at times so having a heatsink that costs only around $10 can give it a lot steadier performance and more longevity.
Just a few minor corrections/additions The Ryzen 5000 series are all zen 3, but you are right about the pcie generation. Also nvme ssds at gen 3 speeds usually don't run hot enough to need a heatsink, so it wouldn't be necessary in this build.
Also most people can't tell the difference between Pcie gen 3 and 4 speeds so putting a 5600 into the current board and keeping the pcie gen 3 ssd speeds wouldn't hurt, for example when I had a b450 I ran a 980 pro (cause I got it as a prime day deal) and I can't tell a difference between that and my current build which has a pcie gen 4 ssd.

Hey man, could you show like a video on how you setup the wires on the $500 pc budget video. Can you please 🙏 upload some sort of video that shows how you setup this pc
The wires are pretty standard on all PCs, there's nothing special about this one. Generally speaking, they only have a single port where they would fit. I recommend looking up videos on TH-cam about "how to build a pc" and that should get you started. For more specific help, try to post to r/buildapc on reddit with any specific questions/photos and they can help you out. Good luck!
Do you have any suggestions of where I can learn to put this build together? This will be my first time building a PC and don't know how I could put it together?
Yeah I started fixing the links for my Canadian/UK bros - but the prices aren't the same and sometimes stock is wildly different, but atleast it can lead you in the right direction. Good luck!
I’m always so hesitant to buying used electronic components from Amazon, eBay but especially the oversea Asian sites. But that may explain why I never end up getting a great deal. Perhaps I need to take a few chances.
I totally get where you’re coming from! Honestly, I trust buying from Amazon and aliexpress way more than I do eBay. They have easy returns and I’ve had much better luck with them overall. Out of like 50 products I’ve gotten from amazon resale, I think maybe one was a dud - and it very well could have just been a coincidence. But I returned it and got a refund the next day so 🤷 just make sure you’re buying from Amazon resale and not some third party and you should be golden 😊

Do you know if I download windows 11 and buy a windows 10 pro key, would that work? If yes, what is the point of selling windows 11 pro keys more expensive if I can just buy the windows 10 key and use it.
I believe you'd have to download Windows 10, buy the Windows 10 key, activate it, and then wait a few days for Windows to offer you the free upgrade to Windows 11 - so basically youre paying more to avoid the extra hassle and few days wait time. its a nice little hack though!
