I built pretty much the same system for a friend on a tight budget. Same 2640 v3 and a Gigabyte RX 580, but with a lot more storage and ram. Final cost was around 270. The 2640 can handle a 3060 also. So you could always upgrade the GPU to get more FPS.
When comparing the 2650 V2 vs the 2670v3 on the same gpu I saw more then a 30-50% performance increase especially in Fortnite I rent from originally bearly making 165 fps using nivida profile inspector to get the fps that high to 220-300fps with no nivida profile inspector same with valorant from a 120fps average sometimes 160fps to a 180fps average and sometimes 200fps and all on the gtx 1650 4gb

Good video. GTX 1070ti's are pretty cheap these days. They will usually overclock past a stock 1080's performance too (Your mileage will vary.) and they are still driver supported. The difference between mid 40's fps and lows 70's fps in a LOT of games these days.
Thank you, I was looking for a cheap case this weekend and came across that one, it has the "gamer" look, but I was not convinced, you confirmed I made the right call not ordering that one.
Very nice information! I build PCs around that price point all the time but with some serious deal hunting. For example used (decent) PSUs, Mobo+CPU combos etc. With patience it’s certainly possible to build a sick 1080p gaming machine for 200 bucks. And it’s so much fun
I built a sub $250 PC with some great parts from ebay and AliExpress I5 6500- $21 GTX 980 - $70 (went down to average around $50-60 16gb Ddr3 1600mhz ram $10 ($5 for 2 went up in price) PC case- $55 600w psu- $30 Dell optiplex 5040 motherboard - $15 256gb sata ssd- $15 From AliExpress I got cable extensions and a lga 1151 CPU cooler for $6.
I bought the black version of that case and it fits perfectly under my TV in the entertainment console. I use it to game, search the web and watch movies mostly. It helps to have a blue tooth keyboard and touchpad combo.
I also made a similar build like this! But mine has an E5-2680 v4 instead. Glad to see more people going for the X99 route. They're incredible. X99 forever! Oh and don't forget to enable rebar on that RX 580, makes a huge difference in some games.

General notes for this build: instead of getting the cpu/mobo/ram combo'd, at least in the US, you can use micron or Samsung Ddr4 ECC, and usually get it in quad channel in 4x4gb config for ~12 usd, then go with a 1660v3 for ~18 usd (same 8c and 16th, but overclockable and higher base and boost clocks) then go with a Qiyida E5 a99 for about 50 usd ( or if you have a little more to spend, go machinist mr9a), and still be able to use a tpm 2.0 module so the system can install windows 11 and play valorant and other games without compatibility issues. I might build one of these as my first gaming PC. It won’t be for running triple A titles though, it’ll mostly for streaming games on Twitch and video making. The games it’ll only need to run would be games like World of Tanks, War Thunder and World of Warships for competitive gaming and games like 7 Days to Die, Five Nights at Freddy’s and other £5 - £20 ($6 - $26) leisure games from Steam. I would probably use a 500gb SSD for some higher demanding games like World of Tanks, World of Warships and War Thunder for competitive games and a 250gb hard drive for far less demanding games and editing/streaming software.
a pretty cheap and nice case I got myself was the Nox Infinity Delta Pro that at the time was on discount for about 35 bucks, another nice option is the Deepcool Matrexx 30, yes I know it's not the most positively popular case, but for 25 dollars an mATX case that includes a 120mm exhaust fan and has actual room for two intake fans and a DVD drive bay in this day and age? hell yeah
Interesting build and it’s kinda incredible the more you think about it. Though I still believe that if your budget really is the lowest you can go, you are better off buying a PC second hand or decommissioned office pc and then spend a few extra upgrading it. Turn off vsync
You should make a €500 one i think that cluld be a perfect budget
Check my other videos mate 😀
I don't know about prices in you region, but we have good deals on r5 2600 combo (with ram and sometimes cooler) and gtx1080 for +/- that price (everything used)
ello, im wondering, i already have a pc, its a hp elitedesk 800g1 ssf, im wonderng if the rx580 will be able to fit in side it, my cpu is i5 4590
This pc came out to 260 but that was only becuse i got 500 gb of storage and its definitely worth it
basicaly, brazil (for several choices/economic problems) affortable build ;)
Hello Brazil 🇧🇷 ♥️
I like the case. I have 2 of those. However it's a pain to install a long gpu in there. I feel your pain installing that gpu 🤣
this guy has craziest hair cuts
i built my own budget build ryzen 5 2600X+980ti+40gb ddr4 and the rest of the stuff in a build for 210 W?
If you cheaped out on that case you could've gotten a bigger ssd which is crucial or a 1tb hdd. Hdds are the worst for os I'll admit but isn't bad for casual gaming.
But can it run Kenshii lol?
I recently built a pc with an Rx 570 and then a r5 3600 with 8gigs of DDR 4 test ram, everything works but the gpu won’t power in or give any type of display. Not sure if it’s the motherboard or cpu at this point
Most RX 570s are mined on, it might be the GPU, try your onboard display and see if it boots
This is more proof that jason likes waifus
That could have been a hell of a lot worse 👏🏼
Does it run after effects and topaz I’ve been looking for something I can make edits with
Hmmm, what's your budget (Not a seller btw)
that waifu case
Can I use a dell optiplex 3020 for the case instead? coming from someone who's really young from a family with not so good funds I barely have enough for this budget too... And I really want something stable to play roblox so is that okay to use?
Yo thanks I really want a pc so I can play last year the nightmare so thanks
Can you do a building vid
