    Wahooooooooo! We're so grateful to have you building out features ("freatureys" 😂) for Teachery! Love all the insights you shared about the client ↔freelancer process. We've worked with a bunch of freelancers over the years and your organization and processes make our lives easier too! Now... if only the development process was as fast and painless as the design process 🤪🙈 (our developers are awesome, it's just that bringing a feature to life from a design is never as easy as you want it to be). Thanks for the awesome work, the kind words about our little course platform, and for putting this video together, Maddy ❤.

      And also, I'd love to see a video on how you use Notion on a daily if you don't have one already. I just started using it and It's been a great experience so far

    Awesome video!! It's really nice hearing that you don't always do research even as a freelancer designer. This type of contract is always hourly-based?

    • @maddybeardUX
      @maddybeardUX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s kind of a mix of both! It’s essentially 2 features (so project based) but with an hourly cap!

    Miss these kinds of vids!! But love all your videos regardless ☺Thanks for all your time and energy for making videos!! I loooove the big colourful blocks before each flow such a good idea to help make sure its obvious where to find context.

    Hi maddy. I have a question, when you design for desktop screens. Do you take into consideration the initial VH (view height), the screen to add a course might most likely require a scroll. Which I feel could be better if no scroll down should be required for that specific screen. It's just a question,, do desktop screen height come into consideration when you design....
    In addition. I'm still eagerly waiting your next edition of hometown makeovers..
    Cheers

    • @maddybeardUX
      @maddybeardUX  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! That’s a great question. Ideally the main action is visible above the fold, but in this case other things were prioritized over the add courses button. And that’s actually okay because of the context! Users know to scroll, so having important content below the fold isn’t a huge deal these days :)

    Great video! I appreciate how you've showed the work and thought-process. The client seems like a cool project too, which is a plus. And now I'm about do something that might be considered annoying: unsolicited feedback 😅 Did you consider calculating the total of the courses within a hub, and maybe a bundle price? Also, could a hub include courses from other teachers?
    Sorry if my questions are uncalled for. My social skills are sometimes off.
