This is amazing. I would love to see more real client projects and understand what goes around the BTS of it. Excited for the next bookmark design video✨ Missed your content Maddy and you're doing amazing ❤
highest respect for you, but I feel like the green / grey reminds me of the old DDR (east germany after war) or Old Turtle xDDD.. The funny illustrations are cool af! And yeah, real life client projects are super interesting. Happy to see more from you cheers!
Thanks for sharing. I would be happy to see more real life client projects. Did you use the new figma variables for your advanced prototyping? How can i improve my prototyping skills like yours ? Any resources and suggestions would be helpful to be career. Sending love💚
Thanks so much! Happy you’re here! :) this is over a year old at this point and I’m now off on my own doing freelance work… BUT it still might be a good one for ya: th-cam.com/video/npMyVEVmtkA/w-d-xo.html
@@maddybeardUX thank you Maddy. It is super important to hear the stories of how people break into the freelance network. I am a data analyst working for a Corp but I'd really like to hear how you got into freelance and what you need to get started. Thanks again and you got my sub!
@@Brothercole1994 Cool to know that's something you're interested in! I might have to make an updated video that includes that origin story. It has not been a straight path by any means haha but I agree, all the more reason to hear different people's stories.
I want to ask a question, why does your desktop frame seem wider than the actual figma desktop frame preset, did you stretch the width? Meanwhile this is a masterpiece, good job Maddy👍🏻
Oh yeah good question! I designed this to be “full width” for a laptop or desktop because it’s a desktop app that is meant to promote focus. You’ll never have another window open on your computer at the same time as Floutwork because everything can be done WITHIN Floutwork. In this way, it’s a bit different from designing a web app for example, where it would appear in a browser. Hope I explained that properly!
By the way, my brand new Figma course is 30% off THIS WEEK ONLY!! Check it out: bit.ly/figma-for-web

Very helpful video, new to ui/UX and it’s nice to see in project stuff.
Man you literally created a Notion 2.0, that's pretty awesome considering the whole UI UX walkthrough you did. Very Inspiring 🙌🏻
Haha thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Do you a have a video which includes designing all the components for this project?
Really good content 👍🏽
Love your prototyping. Thanks.
Do you know when these updates will be released on the floutwork app? I love this!

Amazing! How long does a design like that usually take to complete?
Thanks! This project took ~ 6-8 weeks. But I was also working on other projects at the same time, so that was part-time work!
Amazing.. Great Job!!
Definitely would love to see more of this 🎉
