Easily the best video I have seen on UX Research... You literally took a deep dive into all the process involved and not just surface level conversation. Definitely sharing. Thank you so much.
I learned A LOT! Thank you opening up the Notion Template/Example. It really helps bringing it together for a complete understanding. This was so awesome!

Thank you! This was a very helpful refresher 🙂 . Also, the My Hero reference in the UX research plan made me happy because my husband and I are currently caught up 😅
So far one of the best easy to digest, and most insightful videos about the UX process I've seen in the past months. Thanks a lot for your contribution!
Thank you sooo much for this amazing content and resources!!! very detailed, I'm new to learning UX research and I've read articles on research process and I'm grateful you split things up and shared templates for each step in the process. It really helps me visualize everything and I now have better knowledge on it. Thank you !!! I'm hoping I can learn more from you during my journey
This was amazingly helpful. I"m learning UX research on my own and working on creating a portfolio and this covered everything and gave templates and examples. thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this. Everything is so well organized! I just started the Google UX course and I was confused since they sent you directly to make interviews and build personas without all this research... I was like wait, based on what?, what is the purpose?, what should I ask? and so on.
Right! I was thinking the same thing. This Google UX Course is a mess...It has left me so confused about the UX process. I knew something was off when they left the research plan for the 4th course. Who knows...maybe wasn't meant to be linear but it's very confusing at the moment.
Thanks for sharing. I have just finished my master’s degree thesis and I would like to write it following ux research process. And the flow you introduced is so clear and easy to follow. Thanks a lot.
Hey idk if youll see this but the research plan link allows people to edit it and its appears to be messed up. the "research plan for ads campaign application" portion is copied and pasted onto every page interrupting other sections.
This is fucking amazing, Thanks alot for this.. I was already getting frustrated with the vague information available everywhere, I will certainly improve on this and make my own tweaks and adjustments. Arigato!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge Estie. Hope you got all your beauti things in time. I find your content very useful and concise coupled with the way you analyse them effortlessly and natural #ForReference only.
Hi Estie, In theory, I've just finished an advanced ux course, even though I wasn't sure about the process. Then.. I've found you! You're great. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge. It's explained in an understandable way. It's a fantastic process that you detail so well. Not all the designers are as open as you are. You've got one more follower today. By the way, I really loved the music as well. : ) Regards from Chile
Hi Estie! Love your content! 🤩🤩 I am myself in this field too and been looking to see what you could recommend in terms of the laptop. As a UX Researcher and Designer I wonder if you would recommend to have a 14inch or 16inch laptop to work on when doing a daily tasks, such as conducting or analysing the research? 🌻
I was looking at your chest while listening to your words.. Brain filter it out and graps great info and heart says thank you for your time and sharing great resouce for free. :)
For passion projects like this, I asked around my personal social circle. If that doesn't work out, then I went on IG and asked around. Oh & I’ve seen designers reach out to niche fb groups, discord channels, LinkedIn, etc too.
the research plan doesn't have any details which you have mentioned in the video such as assumptions etc! only the headings are there in the word document.
Thanks for showing us how you work! It's amazing how quickly you've grown and developed as a designer since starting your bootcamp :D Would you say your empathy map is more of an affinity map?
Tysm ❤️And yes, the overall concept is a lot more like an affinity map. Just discovering patterns and building empathy points is all that's different. :)
Hi Estie, thank you for the fantastic video! I learned a lot and this video and files helped me so much in preparing for my first UXR job XD I want to ask one thing! Based on what did you make "Projected Time" on the Notion file? I'm excited at hearing from you
Hey!! Thanks for the information! Did you learn everything about UX research through DL & your mentor?? Or did you use some other resources? I'm starting my cohort in June but I'm kind of worried about the research part so I'm reading a few books to prepare myself :/
you are doing a competitive analysis of the companies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and I am very confused why you would put "increase subscription costs with Netflix" as a weakness. For anything they are making more money because people are still paying for their services. You haven't even looked at their pricing / revenue model and you are already jumping into conclusion that this is their weakness...
Easily the best video I have seen on UX Research... You literally took a deep dive into all the process involved and not just surface level conversation. Definitely sharing. Thank you so much.
Aww thank you Matthew! Such kind words 🥺💕

Great video Estie
Hey , estie choi did you use chatgpt for all these info to structure it? And info inside it??
This was before chatgpt was available so I structured these from my own experiences when I was first starting out 🥰
Question: How do you find people to interview for a very niche product? Thanks
For passion projects like this, I asked around my personal social circle. If that doesn't work out, then I went on IG and asked around. Oh & I’ve seen designers reach out to niche fb groups, discord channels, LinkedIn, etc too.
thank you for a super easy to follow video. Super helpful :D
Happy to hear that!
sooo helpful! thank you!!
