I never regretted my bangs, my mother did. I stuck with them for a couple of years, but since I'm really lazy when it comes to going to a hairdresser, they just grew out. I kind of miss my bangs to be honest, but they're way too high maintenance for me. I do think you look good with bangs! :)

Okay, secret to bangs: never get a blunt cut. Always try to get some little layers in those bangs. I pursued the 70s bangs of my dreams for years, and couldn’t get it, couldn’t get it. Until I cut them myself and added some layers, and my bangs were always great. Until I suffered some damage and digestion problems and half my hair fell out... It’s growing back, but no bangs for me for a while. You can rock the bangs, but just like long hair, some layering helps in the shape... I need to go back and reread the golden compass and it’s series (I can’t remember it’s name right now)... it’s been so many years and I want to read the new series, and watch the show... But I just finished the Priory of the Orange Tree 🍊 and it’s been hard moving on...

However, if you’re turned off by simpler writing styles, then maybe it’s not for you. I definitely don’t think you should reject it immediately on the premise of being an adult and it’s a book for teens.
I find that the first book might have been a bit more YA but the character grows up throughout the series and by the end there are much more serious topic that as a kid I didn't even realize were there! Overall I would say it's an Adult series that also caters to YA readers :)
I had bangs for 7 years and loved them but they grew so fast I had to cut them every week to keep the length. This year I'm growing them out, and I feel they stopped growing until my nose just to spite me 😂😂😢

Love Wanderers. The plot starts coming together maybe a third of the way in? And it has a crazy ending but it’s definitely an investment.
The Goldfinch does sort of get to the point by the very end. And it wasn't bad. But it's definitely not the most enjoyable read or cast of characters

It depends, some I enjoy enough to keep (I like showing the books in videos too!) but I end up unhauling 20-30 books a year!
