- Our first outing in quite some time! Nice to be back!
A familiar sight but often left unclimbed, Beinn a' Chrùlaiste rises from the northern end of Rannoch Moor, its rounded slopes contrasting with its neighbour Buachaille Etive Mor across the road, for which it is the supreme viewpoint.

Is their plenty of places to park ? And do you need to pay for it ? Any information you could give would be brilliant
@@ryankeeling2406 There’s parking around and you don’t need to pay. Not loads of parking though and you may need to walk a little depending on how busy it is. It’s not an issue though. This is an easy one and you’ll be able to work things out without any problems. 😊👍
Nice drone shots and views especially of the Buachaille. I've done this hill in the winter with a howling blizzard on top and no views! Think I would have preferred a warm bed in The King's House to a wild camp. :-)

Hey Dave, Thank you, nice to be back out. You could park in several places may mean you start from the Altnafeidh end. There’s also a small amount of parking on the northern side of the Kingshouse hotel that’s where we parked. 🤙

My favourite campsite of last year. One of the best rooms with a view is to be found after an easier hop up from the Altnafeadh side.

Hi Drew, thank you! We use a DJI Mavic Air. Think they’ve stopped making it now though. Works well for us but there are smaller drone available now that will do a great job. 🤙

What a great first summit camp to break the lockdown. I’m staying at. Kings House for the first time next week and this hike looks great. Is there a route to the summit from the Kings House side? Is it steep or reasonable?
A great place to stay Richard! Yeah basically head over the wee bridge at the hotel and walk straight forward lol It’s pretty reasonable especially for the rewards, if the weathers playing ball. Have a good trip. 😊🤙
Hi guys thinking of doing this same hill and wild camping on top, question the place where you left your van, does that access road run along from the kingshouse hotel or do you enter it from the other side….is that gate that you started from locked ??…..thanks Drew
From the other end. You can’t miss it. Gate is locked, it’s the estate road.

Hi looking at wild camping on this summit soon ,what’s the best route is it follow the bhalaich river then left to the summit or half way up the river then hike left up the mountain accent then right to the summit ?
You’ll find the path very easily. Walkhighlands has the route we used. 😊👍
