Thanks for your efforts. The acoustics going back to the barracks are fantastic. And thanks for capturing my favorite police officer, “officer backwards step.” 😊
It's a shame the police cant wear a posh uniform when leading a marching band. Have a black & White photo of my dad visiting the family farm in North Wales dressed in hid Welsh Guardsman's uniform sadly in a peak cap not the wonderful Bearskin. 1938 prior to him going to France with the BEF. Also have a photo of three Queen Alexandria Nurses in uniform one my aunt Millie, having her autograph book signed by General Eisenhower on the steps pf Shepheard's Hotel Cairo. I gave the hotel a copy when I worked in Cairo.
Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't know why the bugles don't play when marching back with the guards. Maybe it's something to do with the historic role that bugles had in a light-infantry context on the battlefield?
Nice to hear “Sambre et Muese” being played at minute 4.00 as they pass through the castle gate ..French and Belgian cavalry march which is a very popular military march in a lot of armies around the world… played fast which suits the Rifles .. well done guys 👍🏻

Hi Charlotte, and thanks! Unfortunately I couldn't immediately see either of your other "characters" - they may be hiding in there somewhere.

See how SLOW the Rifle's Band and Bugles have to March leading the Guards! Different story with the Gurkhas. 120 paces to the Minuet!
Light infantry move at 140 paces to the minute, with a 30 inch step.
Guards regt , 120 paces
@@stevewilliams2691the Guards march at 116 paces a minute.
They take shorter steps.
@@scottbarry62 Their Drill is alot different.
