Oh man have I ever run those deck saws. Mine was a 3120 husqvarna. 120cc’s. Very heavy for sure. You said don’t mess with a concrete guy lol. I agree. Same with loggers who run chainsaws all day. HOWEVER could you imagine tangling with one of the old school lumberjacks that were chopping redwoods down with axes and 2 man buck saws!!! Those guys had to be the toughest guys ever. I look at the old pictures of them standing in front of a 16 foot wide redwood literally standing IN THE FACE CUT THEY CHOPPED WITH AXES!!!! It’s just unbelievable. To think what generations before us weather it’s loggers or even farmers I mean look what the old time farmers had to do 125 years ago. I bet they were strong as an ox too. Sometimes I wonder how today’s man would handle being teleported back in time to work for a day. I bet we would have a whole new appreciation for today’s technology!!!! As always WORK SAFE 😎😎🇺🇸🇺🇸

Ran a saw like that for a whole year working for a master stone mason. Tip #1 (most important). HOOK SAW UP TO WATER!!!!! Doubles at minimum the blades like and dust is basically GONE!!
    Tip #2 reference tip #1
Tip#3 blade guard pivots up and down so you handle won't hit the ground and you can saw level or slightly upward.

All of you are putting in a lot of hard work dealing with the concrete and rebar and such. The concrete saw really cut thru the concrete, dangerous machine that is. You really got the door cut in with good time. Removing all the slats will take some time I am sure. I will say this project is coming together pretty darn good. Will look forward to next video on this project. Is very interesting to see how you are doing the remodel. Thanks for taking us along. Appreciate your time to do the video. OSHA requires vacuum attached to the tool anytime concrete is disturbed. Water is also a viable dust protection, but water has the problem of tuning to dust when dried and must be mitigated before drying. Vacuum is the best. this is to prevent Silicosis which is an extremely bad lung condition. Vacuuming is not just to protect the operator of the tool, but to protect everyone else on the job site.

Here is something funny. I also have a toad in my garage, I put it outside three times and it keeps getting in so everytime I open the door I say hello toady. I have done the same thing back when I worked construction. If you want to keep the dust down you should be able to hook up a water hose to the saw or have someone spray a little water while cutting. Hook a water hose to the saw or a pump up sprayer to control the dust. also you can get one of those saws with like a chain saw that will cut concrete. It will go all the way through the wall and you can also hook water to that saw. Cut from the top down and all you have to do is guide the saw as it has enough horse power to continuouslly cut.
