    I enjoy watching your recipes. I think you should mention more nutritional value & vitamin facts to your viewers. For example you mention the chlorophyll in spinach but don't back it up with why or how. How about mentioning "Spinach is an extremely nutrient-rich vegetable. It contains high amounts of carotenoids, vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid, iron and calcium." You have a lot of people looking up to y'all for healthy advice & I think it's important to be thorough with the education. ANYWAYS, that's my opinion. I just recently bought a Vitamix & excited to try out your soup recipes. Keep up the videos!

    Marian Clark @MisterPlunkett To Answer your question regarding the apple seeds, I found this information.. Apple seeds do not contain arsenic. They however have mall quantities of cyanide in them. The cyanide found in apple seeds is not harmful to humans unless eaten in large quantities. I hope this helps! Have a great day.

    Hi Mal,
    That's the great thing about green smoothies - you can use whatever ingredients you prefer and whichever fruit and veg works for your body. Have a great day!

    We need a tutorial on HOW TO MAKE A GREEN SMOOTHIE WITHOUT VITAMIX BLENDER

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can make Green Smoothies in most blenders, however, the beauty of having a VITAMIX is it does recipes like this so easily and will last you a very long time. Most blenders don't have the same power and high quality design. You certainly get what you pay for when it comes to the Vitamix Blender.

    As a Vitamix owner and having had my share of successful and failed blends over the years, I thought it was advised to place lighter items first and heavier after so the weight of the latter moves the ingredients downward toward the blade. Of course here you capped it all off with ice. Still I'm curious why you didn't start with the greens?

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there, thanks for your question. It's most important that you start with your liquids and softer ingredients at the very bottom, and frozen ingredients at the top. The tamper is there to push everything into the blades. We've been using the Vitamix for over 25 years, and have hundreds of free recipes on our website, if you wanted to check them out :) Let us know if you've got any other questions. Thanks for watching!

    I made this today and it was fantastic. I swapped half a peach for the orange, but otherwise it was identical. Here's my question: you are making about 2 liters of juice here. Do you recommend storing fresh made smoothies and juices? I think I read that you don't want to refrigerate or store these raw drinks as live enzymes die off as the beverage sits. Do the same amount of healthy properties remain after it's sat in the fridge for 2 days?

    Hi Tommy, curious of your thoughts of mixing veggies and fruit. I've heard from many that the only fruit you should mix with veggies is apples.

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Chevy Brown , if there is too much water when it's blending, it can get quite frothy. It's best to add a banana or some nuts in your smoothie and if you want to thin it out, just add some water at the end on a low speed. I hope this helps!

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Andres Ayala
      It's entirely up to you how much fruit you want to put in your smoothies. If you're concerned, you can change the ratio of fruit to vegetables and only use minimal fruit. For specific details of how much works for your body, its always best to speak to a health professional :) Thanks for watching!

      I found this information.. Apple seeds do not contain arsenic. They however have small quantities of cyanide in them. The cyanide found in apple seeds is not harmful to humans unless eaten in large quantities. I hope this helps! Have a great day.

    • @dianethomas01
      @dianethomas01 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I said cyanide. Did you read my post? And if you don't chew them, they are not harmful Obviously, the Vitamix chews them. I know your body can detoxify small amounts of cyanide, but why would we intentionally put something in our bodies we know has the potential to be toxic, when we can easily remove?

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Diane Thomas
      My apologies Dianne.
      They do contain traces of cyanide however, you would have to eat about over 50 apple cores in one sitting for it to be toxic- a little bit won't hurt you and your body can easily detoxify the trace amounts. It is entirely up to you, what you put in your smoothies so you are more than welcome to remove them before adding apples in your smoothies :)
