Broken promises, 7 years of my life to this game. The good times, the bad, the joy, the rage..... In the end its not a passion project, its a business. Money is the driving factor, not vision. I wish Nikita well and hope release is a good state for the game. So many features, yet we still can hear people unzip a duffle bag through 3 floors, still can hear people walk through layers of concrete, still can hear someone aim down their sights from 40+ meters away. Audio and cheaters are issues that are needed above all else. Thank you Airwing for your videos.
All these comments read like emo metal lyrics. Youd fit right in on the subreddit.
@@Victorjvsr This shit made me laugh out loud.....
@Airwingmarine I mean he's not wrong
My expectations are higher now, but i predict disappointment in my future.
Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
Thats not very optimistic 😂
If WildCard, Activision, Ubisoft, 343, Creative Assembly, Frontier, or Piranha have taught me it anything is that very, VERY few game devs won't disappoint you. If not for Bay12, Ghost Ship, Ludeon, and SquareEnix I think all of my faith in game devs to not be complete shit would be long gone.
@@Airwingmarine Expect the worst, be pleasantly surprised when its not.
SquareEnix has been shit like since 2010 lmfao @@StAjoraGames
This is how I think about BSG's limitations:
It's like a guy who's has limited experience at building houses builds a house which by chance turns out to be an amazing house where everyone wants to live. So the guy builds more stories onto the house for the new people and it gets taller and bigger and bigger. But the house becomes unstable because all those stories are built on the original foundations which are crap and poorly built. The man can't make the house perfectly stable because rebuilding the foundations would mean rebuilding the whole house.
Leaning tower of Pisa. Foundations of the game are botched, going through old spaghetti code it seems like and no modern tools or solutions for some common things since Unity doesn't have them either.
@@MalkathiusRecord Nikita said upgrading unity will provide heaps more tools to help them
I agree with the most part, but I don't think their success can be dumbed downed to mere luck. Nikita and his "inner circle" are exceptional game designers but their technical expertise couldn't keep up what they envisioned.
You summed up the software development process perfectly
@@kespec yeah I agreed. I guess their vision for a unique game world is exceptional. But technical knowledge is what has let them down. However some of it definitely has been chance. For example, they always intended tarkov to be open world but due to their technical limitations early in the development process, they split that open world up into small zones joined to one another. In doing so they basically accidentally created a new genre of shooter: extraction shooters
Was a nice interview. Brings a lot of ease to my mind about certain things even though they might not happen tomorrow(example being the crab walking bug and how he thought it was already fixed a while back). Communication goes a long way and this interview helped prove that.
While a lot of this sounds promising and exciting. Only time will tell. Thanks for the vid.
Fingers crossed! And, you bet.
Didn't know there was an interview, thank you for the recap
Yo. I LOVE your first 40 seconds. You actually tell people to form their own opinions. It's the little things that amazes me these days. Keep it up!
I appreciate that
Thank you for the recap AirWing, I greatly appreciate your work!
My pleasure!
I love the fire side chats with Nikita and love all your content Airwing.
Thanks!
Honestly the RuneScape polling system is probably one of the best community communication tools any game can implement. Especially since it’s in-game it means only your actual current player base is listened to.
problem is.. runescape player base end up fighting with each other about changes.. and with the tarkov community at times... that sounds like a disaster... also if there is a vote for lets say scav runs.. and hypothetically if about half the player base don't do scav runs then they will try to be toxic and not pass the poll for the benefit of the scav run players
@@demon_killa I don’t think poll griefing is as serious as people claim. Ultimately you’re looking at everyone having one vote so to have a substantial impact you’re saying 1/10 or more of the players would undermine a poll with no concern for the game they’re playing. I don’t believe that happens often, I think in reality most people claim that to cope as a way to say their ideas aren’t unpopular. More likely I think you would see non-participation than deliberate false answers.
@@nicholasbreecher9315this
@@nicholasbreecher9315the devs also know what clearly won’t work. People will react. Our poll is merely a suggestion
@@nicholasbreecher9315 After playing runescape for 20+ years and being active in the polls for 11 years (around the time is began) I disagree with what you said.
if you know runescape you will know exactly the reasons why there are never any wilderness updates.. it's because majority of the players don't like to go into the wilderness + not pkers...so therefore they are like screw the pkers in the wildy... regardless it is a different scenario... and my example was just hypothetical
I'm not saying the polling is a bad idea but it probably should just be for BSGs eyes only and not have to dev something if it hits 75%+ of yes votes..
I watched the full interview its was a good interview and interesting to hear what Nikita has to offer in the future
just got into tarkov this year cause my buddy got me to play it so im new to a lot and still getting the hang of it. gonna be interesting to see what the big changes are considering im new to the game compared to a lot of players. exciting stuff.
I’m very much excited to see more about this “visual overhaul” they’re talking about. If it improves performance, lighting, and just generally makes the game look better that might be what will bring me back. If the next wipe is in June I hope that’s when it’ll be coming. He did say the Unity upgrade is coming this year for sure.
TY for that summary, exactly what I've been looking for since the interview was uploaded
It's really worth watching or listening to.
@@christianr.b.6074 the interview or this summary? The interview is to long for me, I'm not into "upcoming"s since UbiSoft previewed "The Division" on E3 2013 and delayed the release over and over again and the finally released game was terrible, they presented it like an EFT-like and released a WoW-like shootergame. I was disappointed to the bottom of my heart and felt betrayed. Ever since I don't give to much about anything that doesn't exist yet.
@@jonathanhonorwood4818 Oh well if you don't play EFT then you absolutely don't need to watch the interview. I guess I shouldn't have assumed. The game is basically released, it's not like The Day After. Well worth playing if you have the time to devote to it. :)
@@christianr.b.6074 +2000h in EFT, this is my 3rd wipe

Sick.. a recap is really what I needed cause aint no way im watching the entire pest video lol
Love that pfp
@@SuperMickyChow Thanks lmao
Very good points to be made here. Overall I would say positive progression has been made. We all stay skeptical, but I’m excited. Love this game.
Dope! Thx 🙏
Pretty happy with the direction the game is going
Agreed, it's come a long way.
Just from last wipe it’s already much better
Definitely. Some people are just babies, and will always be crying, no matter what.
the whole linked maps thing, I took it as they're going to combine some of the maps together to make like 3 or 4 big maps. Streets by itself, and then like shoreline, reserve and lighthouse together, customs, factory, and then woods reserve together type of thing.
Great breakdown of the nikita chat thanks airwing.
V & H recoil individual stats for attachments is going to be great for the game - helps break down the meta, makes more attachments viable, helps prevent flea market overinflation
I agree.
I watched the interview as well, I kinda got vibes that the no-killcam thing was also due to cheater worries. If I recall correctly, he mentioned something about concern on how they would store the cam data, and as a developer I got the feeling he was thinking about preventing bad-actors from getting ahold of this data somehow (during a raid, presumably)
A cheater doesn't need to die to know where you were the whole time lol
@@paddypibblet846 this is true lol
@@paddypibblet846But it would give players possibly a very difficult to detect advantage. All you need in tarkov to win is the smallest advantage. Add in something like how many there are, where they are, what they have, and you suddenly can pick the fight from the perfect angle. Just make a cheat that gives you the killcam exploit, kind of like a DMA radar. No aimbot, or physical walls, but you’ll always know where people are and where the loot is.
You make absolutely no sense
@@cancerousnut7767 They'll know where everyone is prior to dying lol. Check out what hacks actually do in Tarkov. It's like God Mode times a million. People pick and choose their hacks at will like an open in game menu.
You have the right take on the Unity update. It's both a massive deal and probably not something we're going to appreciate client side.
What do you mean? We're not going to like it. It literally unlocks so much of the unity engine
Attachment change is huge I’ve been wanting exactly that
Talking about Terminal Nikita also mentioned that they want it to be single player. I could see people going to Terminal via Shoreline and being put into their own private instance, maybe that's how they are going to work towards map to map travel.
As much as I would like a kill cam so I can see what mistakes I made form the enemies point of view I like that their is no kill cam. It adds to the mystery and fear of the Tarkov experience when you get popped out of no where.
To be honest a mobile app to track hideout progress and stuff is really cool. Also, would be nice to be able o go through the stash, sell things and what not.
jesus you're quci Airwing, keeep the good videos up and what do you want added to tarkov
A friend of mine just started this wipe. A consistent conversation between him, and my regular Duo, is that unfortunately, this is pretty much the best game in the genre.
And it's a two-sided coin. It has an incredibly large amount of frustrating issues, between inconsistency, game performance, and cheaters.
At the same time, the depth of complexity, long-term progression, and the satisfaction of playing a game are matched by no other.
I'll probably keep playing the game for a while, with my expectations very low.
Glad he's doing interviews like this though. Heavy lies the crown
I would not be surprised *in the slightest* if the new EoD replacement has a 4x3 Kappa case, and a replacement 5x3 case is added later ingame…
Honestly, size doesn’t bother me too much when it comes to the secure containers. You can no longer really put anything too crazy in them. Can’t do tac rigs any more, mags, grenades, guns, backpacks. All this would do is let someone bring more meds or ammo. And to that i just say, whatever. If I can get as far as I have with just bringing keys and ammo in my case, I don’t give a shit if someone has an extra stack of 55a1. Always made me laugh when bad players say they lose because they only have alpha container when it’s one of the least mattering aspects of your loadout.
About the only things I would add to a Kappa, is a Documents Case to go with my SICC to put all those Info Items that the SICC ordinarily can’t take…
So much of the interview was "Soon" but yeah, 1.0 certainly feels like they are closing in on it.
CIG (ironically given Star Citizen's history) has best in class communication and development awareness with their donors. We get a weekly development showcase, weekly dev chat, monthly summary / newsletter for both SC and Squadron 42, forum interaction, bug reporting/ voting, and actually contribute and help guide development in some cases. I guess we earned it after years paying and waiting and believing.
My squad mates and I use the Foot Pop Bug multiple times per raid. Not that we can avoid it, we all are running analog amplified headphones so we all can hear the pop when someone walks into range. Everyone just calls out when they hear one and which direction they heard it from and more often than not it leads to a kill / hearing someone coming.
I rat so im never on the end of the pop
@@Chevalier_knight same here. The foot pop pug is a rats best fren

98% of eod buyers are NOT buying it to support bsg, lets be real
Factual. Dgaf abt BSG. Only bought to save myself hundreds of hours of headaches.
I’d sort of agree with that. There used to be a time where some of us were coming from older BSG games. Now the fat Russian just spews crap
Factual, most EOD are cheaters or streamers
@@highqualitycontentmaker6821 Dumbass
BTW BSG didnt say that they are CUTTING Defib revives unconscious state and CLANS just said that they are not working on them right now since its going to be another year another year to do everything SPECIFICALLY:
CLAN System: After 1.0
Defib revives and such: after they have time they have animations advances animations but it would come.
Lock Picking: They have animations and everything.(He said its pretty easy to add )they just have priorities right now.
You are incorrect, go listen again.
Unconscious state is still in RnD and MAYBE will be a DLC. Same with lock picking.
The clan system is the only thing he said WILL be.
The context of "cutting" things was me stating we won't see them before 1.0
@@Airwingmarineunconcern’s state as dlc?
Thank you, seems like a lot of youth es don't watch the full video
Pushed back again
I believe the "open world" will be in the form of traveling between maps using the BTR and good ol' fashion loading screens.
Prestige will be interesting, new edition, clan/hideout, RUAF, I'm interested
To counter your EOD point, I have been watching people play Tarkov since at least 2018, and I have wanted to play this game the whole time. However, I did not get to build a PC that could run the game until this year. Meaning I missed the deadline to purchase EOD by a week or less. So, I'm happy to have a chance to get the Gamma again. I do think that EOD owners should get a free upgrade to the new edition though.
I am in the same case! its so frustrating that my teamates have a big pouch and always asks me why i dont run injector case
Weak excuse, we (EOD) have pretty much funded the game and made it big. The Gamma was a reward for this (pretty much an alpha tester reward). It's pretty lame that everyone can get it again now
@axelarnaud7547 Oh yeah! I run an injector case, but I just accept my container is only for meds(extra) and keys, never to be used for extraction or paracord.
@@IamTx216 I guess you want your game to die rapidly then. Creating inequalities between players is the best way to do so.
Also, you seem like that you are very proud to have "funded" the game, but its the new players' money that keeps the studio running right now.
Please go tell BSG not to sell a new version of the game and to loose millions 🤣
@@jacobtucker5719lol same. I have the most basic version of the game so I start with a 2x2, and work my way up to the 2x3 Beta container. Given that my load out and gun usually sits at around 450k roubles, I don't mind buying a Paracord for 50k and just carrying it on my bag when going to reserve or shoreline.
When I heard him say maps will be linked I took that as they are connected via lore and not directly through games. Basically path to lighthouse and path to shoreline
Love a nice 1am video
I would guess the New Edition is probably an ultimate Edition of some sort. With the extra stash lines and clothes at release or something like that. So EOD + Microtrasaction stuff in one package
And probably more then eod most likely
The new faction will be the Russian Armed Forces, their base is located on the Shoreline near the Railways. This base was under assault in the last episode of Raid series, or very similar to it. This means there will be fighters with Kord and AGS and most likely a physical Prapor like Lightkeeper. This also means that on some maps there will be a similar UNTAR base with a physical Peacekeeper.
You are stating a lot of things that are facts that are assumptions.
I agree with most of them, but they are still assumptions, not confirmed facts.
I’m assuming when they mean different profiles that Tarkov will kind of operate like Diablo 2 and have a “ladder season” (which is a reset) and then a “non-ladder” which never resets.
Both Tarkov and Star Citizen feel so similar right now. They're both absolutely incredible games with huge scope that no other game can compare to, but they're buuggy and frustrating to play right now. The developers for both have quite a mountain to climb for their impending 1.0 releases but if they can pull it off, damn. We're in for a good time.
wtf are you saying lmao
Tarkov has been thriving for years. It’s an incredible game and has been incredibly successful.
That’s not to say it cannot be improved, or that it was built perfectly. It wasn’t. But still after…god what has it been 6/7+years? No other dev has put out anything that can even call itself a competitor to Tarkov.
I’ve played the game thousands of hours and had so much fun over the years. Ofc I take breaks from the game, but come on…it already delivers such a robust fun / deep experience. It’s well worth the EOD price.
Tarkov is currently in one of its best states ever!
@@nickv3085 What are saying LMAO?
To me it looks like you just rephrased what was said.
@@nickv3085 That's literally what the op said "incredible game" but he is also correct that they have a lot of work to do to fix the major issues that have been present throughout and that are extremely frustrating.
Will eod accounts be able to upgrade to the new special edition?
Most definitely
what im picking up from map connections is that we are going to have to extract at a certain place in order to go to a certain map. which would require you to "run through" certain maps just to get to the one you want to task on
Biggest w for me is the non wipe character.
I take things slow and i don't really like the rush the first month of the wipe. It will give me time to fully explore and enjoy all of the content bsg has planned fo the game.
I'd like a post map movement of all players and killcam. The map kinda like how pestily does it in his series. This info could be sent to you through fence after each raid closes and from there you can report sus acitvities. If for say, you see on red line from a cheater goes from player to player on the map and just clears it out.
Yea a system like that takes a while to develop and there’s more important stuff for them to do than worry about a killcam that would be super advanced for a game like tarkov
That would be awesome, and alot less resource intensive than a kill cam
After watching Pest's full video it seemed like Nikita doesn't really even play the game much or listen to the community. Like you say at the beginning he's the guy at the top so he doesn't have his ear to the ground on everything at the ground level. Seemed a bit detached. Nonetheless, I'm just grateful he did the interview and I'm really happy the community, including you and Pestily, put a high level of effort in and that Nikita is at least willing to get out and talk
I hate you felt that way, but I got the exact opposite from him. He seemed engaged and took plenty of notes. Also, keep in mind, he is the CEO of a company of over 100 employees now, it is sad, but he doesn't have time to play the game he once dreamed of and started himself, but he just doesn't have the time to do that anymore. Now granted, some of his decisions as a CEO have been under whelming, like the idea of not having a better community management team, but at least interview just shows he doesn't think of himself of too high up to listen to a community "leader" like Pest. Hats off to Pest for taking the time to understand the community needed to be heard and let us all tell him what our concerns were.
I'd like to see Nikita go for Kappa and be like "Shit, this is friggin impossible" so I can be like "Yeah" 👺
This was actually the most iv seen Nikita aware of current issues in the game, so it does look like he is paying close enough attention. He also probably has PR people who are paying closer attention. Also to be fair most game devs don't like playing their own game, lots of devs have said they would nit pick and think about issues while playing their own games and it doesn't end up being fun. That and burnout of working on and playing the same thing, its like work follows you home.
I’ve been working on overseas trust pt 1 ( kill every boss 15x) and yesterday and the day before I had several raids without packet loss and no boss spawn.
Customs, reserve, shoreline.
Testing in arena is more efficient when it comes to player interactions because they are forced. I like that they are testing an anticheat system in arena where the entire gameplay revolves around pvp interactions.
OMG, at 11:17 I had an ad pop which started with an anime horse getting slapped on its back. Legit dying right now.
i think it's at 50:17 in the Pestily video that Nikita expresses surprise that crouch walking making no noise is still in the game. It'd be huge if they fixed that.
Patch 14.5 changed it agian. Not 100% sure how it works yet, but it's not the same.
Have they said anything about adding a spectate option after you die? I think that would be easier then a kill cam feature.
That ruins it for realism and turns it more into call of duty. You could cheat so hard so hard if you have a squad
@obamacare2916 Or like in Hunt: Showdown you can only spectate your squad until they are all dead
Cant wait to spent my 2 weeks vacation in tarkov 😂
My pc runs the game decently, but I would totally be okay with more optimization and stability related stuff rather than features , just my opinion tho
he was referring to tPm in newer systems enabled in BIOS
Yup, and a few others as well.
Excellen video covered almost all the big points I saw in the interview. I stand optimistic and hopeful. I also will be extremely disappointed if Eod players need to purchase this new version of the game as when we donated to help the development by purchasing EOD we were told EOD included all future content and dlc. We shall see on that issue.
Holy shit after all these years they finally realized breaking up horizontal & vertical recoil diversify the build?!
Extract campers are up, free pmc loot and now free boss loot too.
Real
So, people keep claiming the condor glasses "glow"is there a change of getting some testing in this area as in which glasses and potentially facemasks "glow"
People claim all sorts of shit without ever checking out for themselves
Certain glasses don’t glow but basically are able to be seen way further through the haze and fog, making it way easier to see from a distance. There’s a video about it. Mostly reserve interchange and dark areas are affected.
They appear as a glasses silhouette.
okay i have to ask before i finish this video, wtf is up with the blue makarov on the wall??? did i miss that from the new event or what's going on
It's a toy disk gun. It came in this last patch
its called blicky
karma shouldn't be influenced by PVP
i think it will be influenced by and influence interactions with the AI Bear and AI Usec factions
5:46 if you were an OG escape from tarkov player, you would know it was never planned to always be wiping. Wiping was just supposed to be for the beta and alpha phases, but people were liking it and they were seeing more population coming in every time it wiped so they kept wiping it and then people wanted to keep the wiping for release. But people wanted the non-whiping characters that were promised during the alpha which you apparently weren't part of. And that's what I'm excited for is he's keeping his promise on a non-wiping character
You don't have to be an OG Tarkov player. The last time he openly discussed a non wiping and wiping tarkov was answering questions with streamers in spring of 2022. And then several times before that.
I've always known it, and I talk about it alot on my streams when people come in and ask.
Your smug condescending tone because I wasn't part of alpha is just moronic, so stop. I can tell by your rambling posts I have a better handle of what's going. A more objective one for sure as well.
I bought the next highest bundle after eod because it was taken out right before i bought the game. I will 100% rebuy it just to get a gamma though 😅
I just wish they would fix the audio, and hit register for scavs and players and just optimize the game
I respect you reading your comments. Great video and love your content. I personally feel that less is more and BSGs focus needs to be on optimization and quest improvements. Don't care much for the new features mentioned. I just don't want game crashes or cheaters lol.
PS. Fuck killing pmcs with shot guns on customs. Thanks. That's all.
nice
Really hoping for a non-wipe version of the game. I enjoy the game the most at max level traders when I can build my guns how I want and use the gear I want. There’s nothing fun about playing an “ultra realistic” game but being forced to use certain items, weapons, gear. The biggest appeal to the game is the level of customization but so much of it is locked behind a shitload of hours of gameplay each wipe.
A boss that hunts extract campers would be amazing lol
is the RUAF thing mean to be the armed forces of the russian federation or russian armed forces? (RU.A.F)
Honestly I fear that part of the reason Nikita doesn’t want a killcam is that we would all find out in short order just how many sus players are in our raids.
You folks kill me with the lack of critical thinking
That is patently absurd
Why shut him down like this? I honestly think this is a possability since there are so many people openly cheating and streaming at the same time, but since the cheats run on a second machine Tarkov can't detect this... these people might get banned on twitch but not in Tarkov. Now imagine the grey number here... also in Arena the killcam did just show how many people are cheating.
@@Airwingmarineshut him down all you want but you still get that tarkov money, which will dry eventually and you’ll be left only with your retardation
No, I mean, maybe that's something they consider, but they release a list of banned players every so often, so they're not trying to hide it exactly. I think space requirements are definitely valid. How do you store all that data? You'd have to buy more servers, specifically to hold data, not for running raids, which the cost would still add up. It's possible to store this data for a short period and let the user download the video and delete it from the server afterward. Idk, but It'd be a mess for them to handle. They probably just don't want to spend the resources to do it.
Edit: I really wish they would do it, though. I understand why they don't want to, but maybe that doesn't excuse them.
its actually crazy how much content im gonna be getting out of a 60 dollar purchase and some people are still complaining about the lack of updates
Isnt it 120€?
People always whine and cry about a game thay they’ve played 100+ hours
What about AI / Machine Learning -powered Anti-Cheat, like AnyBrains or WaldoVision. There are others out there, according to a quick Google search, but it would be nice to see something powered by Machine Learning.
Instead of a kill cam it’d be good if you could just rewatch raids but they are only available to rewatch after the raid has ended. This could help with reporting cheaters and would also help the tarkov community make amazing videos on the game
17:00 in their near view that I watch with pesley and Nikita Nikita specifically said he didn't know the audio pops were still in the game. He thought he already fixed those. So where did you get that? They know about it and are working on it besides the point of him going. Oh I thought it was fixed okay and then now they're fixing it
This is just a blatant misrepresentation of what he said... Like not a "well it was mumbled and bad English" or something like that. You appear to be intentionall missrepresenting what happened in the interview.
He acknowledged it plain as day. He said "Yeah, It's a binaural bug or something"
BSG has acknowledged this bug for a while. It seems to be a very difficult bug for them to fix because we also had it for a time with STEAM AUDIO even.
th-cam.com/video/R-mXFLLWZXY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NMCWI9W42MvBNUeI&t=2825
I almost didn't entertain this comment because you are just rambling at this point, BUT I've seen it pop up a few other places so I want to make sure to address it correctly.
what the hell did i spend 200 CAD for the best intro just to be told they will release a better version now
So if they are going to create profiles and seasonal characters, maybe it is about time to think about pve only characters.
The packet loss bug is still there. I used it on shoreline and got the goons cause of it.
Ive seen some people say that it seems like Nikita seemed burnt out and just wants to push out 1.0 so BSG can move onto their next project, and I think people really take this game for granted sometimes, I understand theres problems that can be frustrating but as someone thats only started playing within the past year I really hope they continue to take care of the game.
I hope the karma system is raid by raid, I don’t want to ever go in to a new raid with negative karma bc I killed a fellow pmc camping me lol
Nikita explicitly said clans will be DLC in that interview
When I said "cut out" it is in the context of not being in the game at release.
Great video, but the problem that EFT has and will always have is massive scope creep and are inheriting a metric tonne of tech debt, theres been zero improvements to the base game, features and content isnt improving the game, people need to call it for what it is at this point.
Great skill placed in the game since the start like lock picking will just get cut out while we get features no one asks for.
i've came to the conclusion that BSG wants evey update and change to be a super secret suprise, that creats hype
Occulus audio- turn off binaural audio
Dolbi atmos- turn on on Windows after paying the lifetime 10 dollar or so one off payment.
Audio pops disappear and audio I Tarkov fixed with amazing positional audio.
Yikes... just yikes...
I don’t love the idea of map to map travel because what if your pc can’t run certain maps 🤷🏻♂️
I Escaped tarkov after that interview
I imagine this better then EOD edition will be EOD but comes with some/all of those new DLC skins and extra slots you can buy too and that DLC company/ clan features. Which I agree EOD shouldn't be trumped.
Funny part about EOD is that we were supposed to get every piece of dlc that came to the game, and they're already adding dlc that we don't get XD
@@JackieRipper_AKA_Legs I know technically the new micro transactions are DLC but they are probably classing then as something else to get around that. So be interesting to see if we get the clan stuff for free.
I fear this game will never get to 1.0. Nikita and the BSG team are constantly rebuilding the foundations and remodelling the house before they even put the roof up.
QOL should be the focus. Add new features during the course of the game's lifespan. The ideas keep changing. Vendors were meant to be like the Light House Keeper. There was meant to be a story and integration travelling between maps. It's been in the oven for so long there are now games who are taking the Tarkov formula and plans now making them a reality before BSG.
had the same thoughts about the new version. EOD was supposed to be special
Tarkov is at it's core an amazing game. It's unfortunate that during it's inception it started on weak knees from developmental issues. I think I can speak for everyone involved that Tarkov as a game is experiencing the dictionary definition of growing pains. QOL should be the name of the game now, fix bugs, refactor code, and for the love of GOD migrate their game to a new engine. I know I say that as if it's simple, but with the size this game is it's obvious that it's not going away anytime soon. Just do everyone the favor players and devs alike.
They seem a lot more focused on a full release and obviously adding useless shit like btr on woods than QA and making sure everything currently in is working properly. It's actually wild they chose unity for a rpg fps with sim like bullet characteristics and such. If we ever make it to 1.0 I will be baffled. Honestly would put money on Grey Zone making it there before tarkov, not to say I'm not rooting for Nikita.
@@JackieRipper_AKA_LegsAll the people he had came from a Unity background, so probably thats the reason, and later they got support from Unity as their child, but yea, now they are stuck for it
Intro was a bit negative I thought the interview went pretty well but overall no bad video thanks
I bought Tarkov and the game is really awesome, but after 1 month playing non-stop, i just quit the game because of hackers. The kill cam would help a lot to identify them and should be priority. I could convert "my fun" in more sell to them, telling about the game for friends, but i cant recommend a game in this price range with so many problems. Its sad. Game is huge
Gotta love how SPT has had many of these systems in the game for a LONG time now. Realism split recoil into V and H, they introduced the comfort system for bags and carriers, and more. Crazy it is taking them this long to implement them.
its a good thing the SPT exists, but I find these kind of comments very ignorant and stupid.
making something for a single player mode has much much less implication compared to implementing something for online with gameplay with real players and some kind of economy. the risk of breaking the game is much less because you fight AI bots.
Also SPT doesn't fix many game-breaking bugs which are present in the live version (broken sounds, last bullet in the mag, etc).
SPT itself doesn't provide any improvements, QoL or content out-of-the-box and just does what is says - simple player version of the live one.
The out-of-the-box experience of SPT is horrible and you need to spend hours or even days to mod and tweak your install. and sometimes the mods aren't available for the latest version which is months old.
@@kathelsupreme1152 it takes about 20 minutes to install all of the "essential" mods (AI, Graphics, Recoil, SVM) and then maybe 10 for any others that you want to add (traveller for open world, various traders, guns, misc features). Def not hours or days unless your internet is measured in KB/s. Also the latest version released about a week ago and most major mods are up to date.
Yes, the multiplayer aspect of these features is ignored, but for fundamental ones like recoil and graphics it's not very important. Multiplayer only makes a difference to things like full open-world and other game-changing things.
@@kathelsupreme1152i tried SPT and couldnt bear it lol, empty shit against dumb crap bots
@@sherlock_backs there are fixes to that.
@@QruisS sure, good movie, scavs are still broken bots
I think Airwing didn't watch that video very thoroughly on a few topics.
I watched it three times. Like I said twice, my opinion on what was said may be different than yours.
i never thought id ever say, lets do Cellphone authentication! no auth, u go different realm/server.
This helped a lot of the CSGO problems with cheaters.
Doesn't do shit anymore. Bsg already does this in a few regions, but there are already pretty easy ways to spoof it now.
one thing i learned from playing and being part of a hardcore game community when i used to play Destiny 2 religiously is that when game devs are not talking about whats coming or not talking to their community it means theyre cooking and whatever it is is in the oven. no communication means theyre working.
WOULD BE SO SO CLUTCH BEING ABLE TO ORGANIZE STASH, USE HIDEOUT, USE FLEA, USE GYM, RECEIVE INSURANCES VIA MOBILE APP !!!
