We have been asking for these things for years, they are scramming to do we what were asking as damage control. Its all a smokecreen to try and hide the big issue at hand. Honestly great that they are making those "changes" (which are just roll backs to what the game used to be like, the tarkov we fell in love with, which unfortunately is no longer present). Doing all of these in such a short span of time means they could have been doing so and listening to us this whole time if they cared enough. Because lets be real, they have been running this game into the ground for the last few wipes. Now the community actually came together and said thats enough, and they are scared shitless because the threat of loosing the majority of their playerbase and tarnishing their franchise is actually real. The game wont be saved until the cheating situation has gotten better. These will be great when the game is actually playable, but until then im still avoiding it and you guys need to consider it too. If you give in to these barely significant updates and genuienly think the game is saved, you might want to think twice.

No thanks, still the best shooter ever made. They make mistakes and hopefully they will see that these changes will be beneficial to everyone.

They really are doing some changes to get us back to where we were earlier. But keep in mind that most of those changes were asked by the community in the first place. Stuff like recoil nerf and inertia wasnt BSG's idea if I remember correctly. People kept crying about too op recoil and now when we got it back its suddenly the best thing ever.
They could make our PMC's poop bitcoins every other step and I don't care. Cheating is what is going to make everyone Escape from Tarkov for good.
Once the cheaters issue is resolved, the game is saved. I dedicated thousands of hours & can handle getting tarkoved, just not cheated. I can't wait for the day you post an update about an anti-cheat. Great vid and thanks for keeping me updated tigz. I'm just waiting to come back

The boss contact thing is nice.. ran into Sanitar in cottages and the split second I came around the corner I ate 3 SP6 to the chest before I could even see or hear him let alone react and run to cover. Hopefully that 30% helps.
Fr i was fighting him at resort with s-2m and i couldnt even get remotely close to him without him insta locking onto me
Changes are to distract from the fact there are cheaters in every lobby. Don't get me wrong I'm still playing but half the people I come across always seem to know exactly where I am no matter what I do.
Thats because they still haven’t done anything about banning “radar” players or blocking the ability to use that. The radar cheat has been undetected for years and theres no excuse for it.

On my first PMC run last night I was holding a corner cause I could hear someone running around and he runs up to the corner with a flashlight on and just stops right before the turn and just stands there for like a minute. I go to pull out a nade and the split second it does the animation he pops out and one taps me in the head. There was no way he could have known I was there yet he did and he knew the angle and he knew exactly when to pop out.

Reshalas tt needs to have 100% drop rate its so annoying that i killed him and now i have to find him again because he had a pl-15
they could just make it "reshalas special weapon" so instead of just tt it could be any pistol he has on him, maybe with some part on it that he can only spawn with so you can't get it any other way

i sold my chek 15 key for 2 mil its the optimum price for it because of the fee. I tried selling for 3 mil but i was getting the same amount of roubles cuz the fee was getting incredibly higher when you try to sell for higher. I hope that they change the flea market fee system once again so we can sell them for the price that the item is worth and not just sell for cheap cuz the fee is getting higher than the price of the item

all I'm interested in in this game is optimization (especially in the scope) and no cheaters. Other "big" changes won't bring me back
The reason scopes cuts frames is a design choice. It renders an entirely new scene on top of the one already running. Its ass

I'm happy for the changes but I'm not kissing their ass.. the fact that they are making these changes just shows they didn't care before and likely when the dust settles they'll go back to their old ways. They implement changes that the majority of the players don't like and say "too bad it's hardcore game". But now that theirs a fire under their ass they all the sudden "care" what we think.
So glad about the examination shit because as a new player I don’t know all the attachments for guns that are available unless I go through and examine every part before customising my weapons

With the remove of barters does that mean that key card spawns and other rare spawns will be increased then? Like I hope marked room will be reverted where we can get keycards in wallets and things like that. I am tired of getting 2 pieces of ammo and an ak from dorms marked room.
The problem is Nikita wants his game to be realistic more than he wants it to be fun. When the money was flowing he didn't have to care about what the playerbase wants, but as it dwindles he will be pressured into giving the community what it wants
Light keeper is actually such a let down now, rushed him to unlock him 3 week of wipe as a solo (assessment 1 💀) and all he has is some crafting recipes we already had that doesn’t even matter considering u can just find the items….

Some basic easy changes that should have been done a long ago. This doesn't fix any of the issues that were hot lately, just a diversion from the real problem.
Took me a few raids just to find 6 people in dorms this patch. Wish dorms gets a marked room or key buff. Used to find 6 per raid.
Very nice changes but I liked to examine everything... I will miss the feeling when you find a completely new item end-wipe and just think "wtf how did I not find this yet"

Seems like BSG is listening more to the wider player base now. I feel they focused on what streamers and top level players wanted. Now it feels like instead of taking more shit away they’re actually trying to make the game more fun.
If you really think that, watch "the wiggle that killed tarkov". It won't stop people cheating.
No, I think most people feel they focused on the ratty, tactical community, with the extreme inertia in 12.12.0. Thats my feeling
@@2009feedback Cheating is terrible in almost every FPS game, from CSGO (even pro level) to EFT.
Valorant seems better, from intrusive anticheat, but that game is zzz fest so I know little about it, not sure how effective it actually is. However it definitely has less cheaters and less blatant cheaters.
@@brohemian Valorant's one is very effective. I've got friends who play it and they never complain about cheaters. It's crazy.
@@vd130 I'd be down for a valorant style anticheat. I'd even be willing to pay MORE money to bsg, such as crowdfunding to get it put in place. I know people call this a "cONspIRacY thEorY" but the simple fact is, BSG makes a ton of money selling new accounts to cheaters, whether they initially set out to do this, I doubt; but as a money making endeavor, they don't seem to be in a rush to fix it.

It is a distraction. Everytime bsg get's in hot water, they take small things that the community has been asking about for a while and ignore the larger issue. :*(
Gotta say for example chek 15 base price has to be adjusted. When put up for 9 mil the fee is around 6.6 mil so it really isn’t worth to sell at all

I don't think your example for flea requirements was right - we can still do roubles as required for items, so if someone wants to buy roubles, then this still works, surely? You just can't exchange one item for another. Am I missing something?

Example is okay enough I guess cuz the base value of the item determines the fee so it really doesn’t make sense. A vase for 3 mil should have a fee of at least 1.5 I

My first wipe you could still sell anything on the flea and it was great. Killing a player with a stacked load out and getting a shit ton of money for it or trying to snowball it into more gear was so great. Being able to snake stuff off the free and re-post it to make a profit was also godly made the game way better

i agree partly i want the high tear items to still be banned from flee but the fir system needs to go other than for quests (and maybe for that too) but if everyone can just buy the really good shit it wont be rare anymore and everyone will just be running slick altyn again. I really dont want that

Don't they like do this shit every wipe? In the beginning you don't find shit, everything is expensive and you're banging your head against the wall. Then when you quit because everything is unreachable for an average player, they start to buff things.

It's funny how it took them this long to make these changes, and let's be honest if it weren't for "that video" and the whole community in outrage, no changes would have been made. Good changes, but they should have been made way sooner and not as an attempt at damage control.

Whether it was initially BSG's intention or not; the fact is, they make more money from selling new accounts to cheaters each day and probably aren't in a hurry to fix the number one issue plaguing tarkov (cheaters) Hopefully a valorant style anti cheat could be put in place, Hell, I'd even give more money to BSG to stop getting one tapped across the map by (insert Chinese white name here) Head, Jaws.

ledx craft is a good change but it doesnt change the fact that microcontroller is impossible to get without going labs lol, some of us arent that good for labs
you still cant craft ledex if you don't have lightkeeper you still need the microcontroller board and you need to do lightkeeper quest to barter for it anyway

gonna miss item examination. Should be perma for account though. Its a really interesting immersive feature for new players. Also neato to find an unexamined item when you're level 45 or something.
First (full) wipe player, I agree, never minded the examination I thought it to be a unique aspect, but it makes sense why some would hate having to re examine the same things wipe after wipe.

I’ll give credit where credit is due. Changes are great. Just disappointed that it took this much backlash to start making some quality of life changes we been asking for. By no means does is change my perspective on BSG at the moment but good job.
You were wrong with your example of the flea change. RMTers will still be able to sell currency via the flea and you gave the example for exactly how they can do it.
It will almost completely curb RMTing rare items such as labs cards that cant be dropped non-fir, which I think is what you meant to say.

Customs, I found, has some of the most cheaters bro. This is obviously just my personal experience, maybe I just got unlucky, but every fucking time I decided hey maybe I dont wanna be perfectly stomached wearing a slick on a map I play customs, and thats exactly what happens. Customs got a lot of cheaters rn imo.

i dont know why we are all in this weird mindset where we feel like the shooter born ranges have to be the same on every map. I think its more than okay to have 125 plus on woods and even lighthouse, but maps like streets etc just needed a bit less. Dont really care about it that much, as i did the quest before the changes and tbh 100 flat is a good QoL change. I just dunno why they havent tried separate distances for sbih

They farm game rebuys from hackers. It's their primary revenue source. Pretty much any game that uses Battle Eye has done the same thing. PUBG, DayZ, Siege, Ark. All of them are a hacker's paradise and even will shamelessly sell Chinese copies at a discount.
BSG isn't going to do shit about the hackers and Tarkov players are too brain dead and addicted to care. They see new content and they've already forgotten. Such a shame.

Damage Control is everything... it's kinda sad that content creators now relate to "EFT News" with catchy titles even tho they know exactly what is happening here. Every time there is a shi!tstorm BSG and Nikita pops out of nowhere and start interacting with the community and make changes on some numbers to ease the crowd.
And yeah, it did work... sub-Reddit activity was halved and its slowly reaching the 14 days of people being able to remember what even happend...

Cheaters remain, desync, shit audio, basic shitty AI that 1 taps and has boss level health pool that can tank 3 headshots on pure RNG, no new content in the pipeline, no custom armour rigs, no BTR like in streets trailer, no real task reworks like promised, so many RMT countermeasures that still just fuck normal players, lack of loot on major maps still and lack of balance between the maps anyway, especially the new spawns, more lies from Nikita, banning streamers and innocents anyway, no new factions, no new traders, waited literally years for Lightkeeper and he is just a cutscene that gives you MORE BULLSHIT TASKS, for rewards that are completely fucking useless, like when will some of you guys get it, this game will never be "fixed" or finished, it was never working at any point since the start, still no replay system and Nikita literally just admitted he won't add one, and a bazillion other things I could list off too, there's no point, I wasted years of my life with this stupid game the best advice ever is to just quit (oh yeah also Arena will be a flop too btw they can't even make Factory a stable pvp environment kek)
