  • In this video, I show how to propagate sedum burro's tail succulent thru stem cuttings and leaf propagation. This is the best way to make more and multiply sedum burro's tail. I also share care tips for newly planted cuttings and when to water them to ensure healthy root growth. #sedumburrostail #sedumcaretips

You're very welcome. I hope it was able to help and I'm sure your new babies will grow and multiply. This one of my favorite succulents! Thank you for stopping by. 💚

Thank you for this, it's really helpful! Does the original plant grow back where you've cut it? Does it split off and produce two stems?

The original plant where you made the cut will grow new babies all along the leaf nodes from top to bottom. 😊

how long does it take to grow babies burro's tail from cutting. And do I need to spray them. And how long does it take roots to come out

It takes about 3-4 weeks to root in soil. You don't need to spray them. Always remember, no roots, no water. Just water a little when the roots come in and gradually increase water as needed. Just make sure the soil dries out in between waterings. As far as babies, on the leftover stem that's still planted, it takes about a month for new babies to start growing along the stem. 😊

@@TheseSucculentBuddies does it take a few month to grow root from leaves. Really😦. I did that just now as you show. With water not with soil.

and by the way how does burro's tail look like if it is going to die

Leaves take even longer. It's better just to throw it in the pot you have growing and forget about them. It takes about a month to start growing a baby from a leaf. But it takes long for them to grow. Yes, you can spray the leaves, but it only helps a little... I never tried propagating the leaves in water yet. Maybe I should! 🤔
