I just decided to get into succulent growing in a big way and bought about 60 plants. I've been watching hours of videos trying to figure out the difference between under and over watering and you finally said something that made sense. The way the leaves start going bad from one end says underwatering but if it's the other end that's overwatering Hit the nail on the head! Thank you so much!!

Do NOT buy spiderfarmer products, my sf1000 has lost some brightness over less than a year to the point where the dimmer switch does nothing when the dial is at 80, meaning it has effectively lost 20% of its brightness. The egregious and flat out dangerous part about this company is that instead of having the product shipped to them to be repaired, they will send you parts and expect you to install them yourself. They sent me a dimmer box which did not match the original part on the light nor did it fix the problem, I am now waiting for them to ship me a power supply for the light which I will have to wire and solder myself. Ordinarily for any other product this would be fine, but not when you are dealing with something that runs in excess of 1.8 amps up to 2.5, way way way more than enough to kill you if you accidentally discharge the capacitors into yourself (since they hold charge after being unplugged). I am lucky enough to have experience and sort of know what I'm doing with electronics but I guarantee there will be people who do not who end up seriously harmed or killed by one of these products when they have an issue with it since they are too lazy to return ship and repair a product and too cheap to outright replace it. When I pointed out just how dangerous and irresponsible it is for them to expect people to install these on their own, they said "sorry for your trouble" and offered me a 8% discount on my next purchase which I will definitely never ever make. I will be doing everything I can on my and in Australia to report this company to ensure they do not endanger more customers and I STRONGLY suggest nobody put themselves in the position to be endangered by buying one of these products. I have all emails and am willing to share to prove what I am talking about.

This is such good info. When to water is so confusing on the newly planted. I just got an order online and potted them about 3 weeks ago. Most came rooted but a couple were cuttings and now it all makes sense

I thought mine had been underwatered because the leaves kept getting wrinkled up and died out from the bottom. I wish I found this video sooner... I noticed something wrong when the stem looked dark and the leaves were falling too fast. It's too weak for me to even taking it out of the soil now. :(

Can you do this cutting during the heat of the summer (93 degrees)? If I keep out of the full sun until the roots are fully bushy looking, then add to a pot that has morning till 3 pm full sun?

How long should you wait to water repotted succulents?

Please don't have all that stuff on top of your lights like that

I hope you cleaned your tools and hands as when you touch the end of that succulent stem if any fungus rot you transferred it to the baby stems you touched afterwards. You should take better care especially as you are teaching others. Otherwise love your videos.
