    Burros tail is a beautiful succulent but is so sensitive to touch that the leaves easily fall off, making repotting tricky. In this video I show you a simple technique that worked well for me, that you can use when working with your own sensitive succulents 🌿

    Good job! You've given me the courage to attempt repotting mine! The leaves fall off if you so much as look at them sideways but I'm not going to let that stop me.

      I'm so glad to hear that this video helped you! It can seem daunting but don't let that stop you growing this beautiful plant 🌱

    My Burro's tail is much bigger than yours and I finally decided it was time to repot it. It was a devastating process and a lot of leaves fell off, but it truly needed to be done. Thank you for posting this video--I am glad I was able to use the pillow case method to at least attempt to minimize the loss of leaves.

    Thank you so much for showing us how to replant this kind of plant. Yes you are right that the leaves are very delicate. Question please, is it true that this plant is very rear? Your answer would be very big help for me and thank you 🙏🏼❤️

    Great video, but it's important to let any cuttings callous over for approx 24 hours before planting them. The cut stem is like an 'open wound' and if you pot it immediately you risk infection. Just a tip! :-)

    It's a beautiful plant! Love it
    Does it need direct light? Can I take it in my room (north-east)?

      thank you, I really love it too! It doesn't need direct light but it does need good light - mine is on a windowsill which gets a little afternoon direct light and it's been doing really well there 🥰 Good luck!

    Do I need to fertilize? If so, what do you recommend? Thanks!

      Fertilise once every 1-2 weeks throughout summer when the plant is growing. I use Liquid Gold Leaf at half strength 💚

    I have a real dilemma with my burrito plant; I foolishly planted it into a an antique coffee pot. Of course, the coffee pot is shaped with a wider bottom and a narrower top. I wasn’t thinking because the pot is Scandinavian looking and I wanted to put it in my kitchen’s garden window. Now it’s 15-18 inches long and I HAVE to repot it, how can I do this without ruining my beautiful burros tail succulent? Anyone? Thank you

    do I need to water the falling leaf

    • @AccordingToJess
      @AccordingToJess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Adam, thanks for watching! You can spritz the soil with a bit of water before you add the leaves if it's very dry, but overall you shouldn't need to water until they start growing roots as the leaves themselves contain lots of water that the new leaves will use to grow!

      how can I propagated the burro's tail. Only put on the soil for 1 or 2 month🤔🤔

    • @AccordingToJess
      @AccordingToJess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aungbhonemoadam Hi Adam, you can propagate this plant just as it shows in the video by laying the leaves on soil - during the winter time they will take a while to grow but when there is more sunlight and spring time (growing season) then you should start to see them growing roots within a few weeks 😊
