I remember from my childhood that my Mom had a large cast iron frying pan. There were eight of us in the house, along with our Parents and siblings. It was a perfect product because it served our family for several dozen years. She was not allowed to scrape (!). It was also suitable for baking pancakes (!). I love it! Much rather see this approach to molding a thin-walled iron pot than sand casting. The assembly rooms looked cold. But then I was forced to acknowledge I'm watching this in a cold kitchen (17 C) while wearing an old ragged hoodie, ha ha. All by choice, of course.

Let me asked you this question, will you used gloves if you will do claypot moulding? Only with the used of bare hands you can get the best consistency of the mud mixture.
