You need to purchase ALL THE CALENDARS and make it a year-round thing. I can guarantee, almost no one would complain. I love watching these unboxings. Helps my brain decompress after work.

HI Alexandria, You are right! Shelley, originally known as the singing clam in a cage, is SpongeBob's pet scallop. She lives in a small birdcage that hangs from the ceiling of SpongeBob's bedroom. I don't think that this calendar was worth it. Some of the tiny sizes are samples we can get at the store. Can't wait to see what is next!! Hugs and blessings.
And there was an episode where SpongeBob and Patrick try to care for a scallop that had a different name.

Finally, the one I've been waiting for! This is the advent calendar I chose for christmas because it was one of the only ones available in New Zealand. It cost $280 NZD and I felt mega ripped off opening it. The 2ml lip products SENT ME.

Ps… it’s apparently normal for the mini Precisely My Brow pencils to not have a lid, the ones I’ve gotten in Ipsy didn’t have lids either 🤷🏼♀️

Outrageous priced for samples. Minis. However. I would prefer the blushes in that small packaging then the bullky standard for them
I got jnto beauty subscription about a year ago. I counted how many benefit mascaras I now have, 27, I kid you not! My mates I'd has one of every one they do and I have a box with almost another full set ready for her. The roller lash full size and the silver they're real one for daytime use.
Be careful putting them together in your make up bag as jm sure they're mating!

I personally prefer the little mini mascaras as I don’t wear it enough and I know you’re supposed to discard them a couple months after opening, even if I were to ignore that I would never use em enough to go through a full size one..
throwing out a mascara after 1-2 months is insane. you know these products are made with preservatives right?? lol 😭
@CookieMonster1390 it's more about being cautious to not get an eye infection. It's very dangerous to expose germs to your eyes, and while you probably don't actually *need* to throw them out that often, I bet it's based on some sort of clinical trial somewhere where they tested to see how long it would take before a used mascara tube would grow bacteria. The companies just don't want to get sued so they're telling you to be more cautious than necessary lol. Just like best by dates on most food
@CookieMonster1390 it's probably more of a safety thing, the labels on things that will go in or on your body are always overcautious, like on food too. Bacteria can grow readily in damp spaces and it's dangerous to put that on your eye, so the suggested time to throw it out is probably based on a lab study they did somewhere that measured how long it would take before the first bacteria began to grow on a used mascara. The company doesn't wanna get sued on the off chance that somebody gets an eye infection lol.
@@snakewithapen5489 yeah i did some reading about it but tbh if it was THAT unsafe that it was absolutely necessary to throw it out after 3 months then i think the sales packaging would give huge warnings about it, and they wouldn’t sell giant tubes that take people months to get through…

Think of those little dollar store Magnet Fuzzy Face game or the principle behind a etch-a-scetch. You drag the magnetic brush along the lashes and it pulls all the crushed nano sized iron thats inside the mascara product itself. It in turns pulls it in long stacked lash that dries down stacked, long, curled, blended.

Honestly, girl, no one would mind this being a year-round thing. These video are a great thing to play when I need something going in the background that I don’t HAVE to pay attention to in order to follow along. This soothes the adhd in me and I’m so thankful.
The packaging of these teeny tiny products is probably way more than the content. I am loving this series. Glad we still have a few more left

Benefit was my 1st prestige brand makeup I ever got. They had the BEST cream shadows and let’s not talk about their bullet lipsticks. I still have some that I love (shhh, they are not expired in my brain). They must be at least 10yrs old.

I think it's safe to say the only reason to get this calendar again next year would be to roast it for all the teeny tiny samples they try to assign ridiculous value to🙄 Seriously tho, why include miniscule samples of products you *can't even buy?!*

Pro tip: if you can't get a bottle open, wrap a rubber band around the top. It will add enough grip to twist it open

5:13 I was literally just thinking that was benefit doing k-beauty! I swear I’ve seen those tiny tints in gift sets for k-beauty brands like Rom&nd. I remember Benefit having a decent foothold in asian beauty due to their brow and tint products, maybe this was a relic of that.

I will say the tight and toned toner is my favorite daytime toner. That tiny amount of liquid goes a long way because the pump is a foaming pump, so it takes a tiny amount of the liquid and foams it up to make it easier to apply while using very little product at a time. When you said you didn’t know they did skincare I immediately was like gurrrrl I know you have gotten this toner in a subscription bag/box because I did as well lol

I could absolutely watch advent calendars all year round, I love these things! They are so fun, and "Advent Season" could become like some sort of monthly thing when it's "off season" from the holidays. =)
That fan fest mascara is one of my new favorites. You should definitely try it on its own.
I love that these Advent Calendars go on into February, Christmas time is by far and away my favourite time of year and January is a bit of a downer for me. At least by watching these videos I'm slowly weaned off my Christmas high.

Alexandria, I LOVE the Benefit Fan fest mascara!!!!! It's what I currently am using. I have long lashes, and it really fans them out. Try it on its own sometime.

The best thing I got from this is that Willa blush is the closest I’ve seen to the old Bath and Body Works blush that was my PERFECT shade and I was so mad I didn’t buy another before they shut down the makeup line.
