Yes, I watched another youtuber (I can't remember her name) who also opened this calender. She is a fan of the brand and was familiar with shopping in the stores. She was disgusted with the collection too, especially since about half of it was actually free samples in store. It was also very rude to not even give the lipstick fill the day after the case. If they insisted on being so cheap to separate it into two days, they could have at least been on consecutive days. I feel it really speaks to how low class and cheap this "luxury" brand actually is.
I know from Tati their makeup is EXPENSIVE. So this should be good 😅 Edit after watching: CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The amount of broken things is unacceptable!

Broken, mangled product isn't cool regardless of price point. I'd exchange a lipstick in that condition even if it came from Target. Of course accidents happen, but with so many broken products in one calendar, they're definitely cheaping out at the manufacturing and packaging levels.
Agreed. Harrods managed to make sure their advent calendar didn't have a bunch of mangled crap in it and it came all the way from England. This calendar felt like a brand that actively loathes its customers.

Arriving 9 months later, cause tis' almost the season again. I cannot express how important these videos are. I've seen a lot of comments (not just on this channel) about people judging content creators for advent calendar reviews and hauls. Sure, Alexandria and other content creators can afford most of these things, because this is the source of their income. But that's not the point, I feel. Some of us who have a low to mid income would splurge from time to time on costly items for our loved ones, especially for Christmas. I am one of those people who doesn't have a lot of money, but who ADORES Christmas, and I will save up all year round so that I could buy the people I really love something nice, something maybe pricier than I could usually afford. I was tempted, so many times, to buy advent calendars (maybe not from super high end brands like Dior or Louboutin, but still, good quality brands), and I would watch reviews like this one, just to realize they are NOT worth your money - that everything is sample sized, or it's just filler junk like scrunchies or cotton pads or whatnot. So I realized I'd rather spend my money on a full sized product, or a regular full sized set, than fool myself into believing an advent calendar is actually a good deal.

That 'reusable' lipstick container, with the chain and charms, looks like something you would buy at Claire's (and it would come without any actual lipstick too). They'd probably charge less but still more than it's actually worth.
This box almost looks like they sent you a returned box? I saw another unboxing of this and I think everything was wrapped in red tissue paper. That is so aggravating especially if it had been a gift for someone. I would try to return it.
See as soon as she mentioned that all the jointed areas where they connect were torn and damaged my immediate thought was that's a return box that someone already opened up. They definitely should have discounted those and posted they were return boxes, and matter of fact they shouldn't have even resold them at all, ESPECIALLY considering the issue with returned opened makeup products being potentially contaminated now with who knows what. Something I instilled in my daughter from the start was you DO NOT share makeup for this very reason. It's dangerous and legitimately potentially life altering.
I was having an awful day. Went to the dentist, who fixed a tooth and took all my money. Got home, collapsed on the sofa for literal HOURS, and did not have the spoons necessary to go to choir - which is my ONE weekly scheduled free time activity that I really love to do. Then you uploaded this. I had already watched Lauren May Beauty unbox this calendar, so when I saw that YOU were doing it, I literally gasped and clicked on it immediately. Thanks to your suffering through this, I finally got up from the sofa, got myself some food and a cup of coffee (caffeine free), and sat upright and smiled and ate and watched. Finally. After HOURS of ADHD mental/emotional fatigue induced paralysis, I was re-animated. Brought back to life. Thanks to you, Alexandria. Thank you, most sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, for your sacrifice. PS: You should 100% reach out to customer service about all the literally damaged perfume bottles and the lipstick!!!!

We use paper bags to put fried chicken in after they come out of the oil. It absorbs the grease and keeps your chicken warm until the rest is done. You have quite the fried chicken bag there ma’am 🤩

If your testing multiple fragrances, if you keep a little cup of coffee beans and smell them in between it should clear the pallet a bit so they don’t run together💖🥰💄❤️

Just as a note, the mascara you got is also not up to quality. The reason it looked like it had "a lot of mascara on it" is because the plunger that scrapes excess product off the wand popped off the body of the product! (You can see the plunger stuck to the wand itself)

We lived in NKY for 6 years and our daughter rode and did horse shows. Even the training barns were beautiful. Lexington is the horse capital. Gorgeous!
Great video! I once bought a fancy advent calendar like this one (wasn’t LB) and it too was a rip off. I’d rather spend the money on a couple of luxury products I really like and will use. But of course the advent calendar gives the fun of a surprise. I would also make the point that if the colour rubbed off the refillable lipstick holder just from its being in a cardboard box, what’s it going to be like after being jumbled about in a handbag or makeup purse?

PLEASE reach out to customer service ESPECIALLY since you have the whole unboxing recorded to prove what you are saying, and see what they offer you to fix things. I would REALLY like to know what their customer service is like and if they will replace what is broken and messed up etc etc I think it would truly be valuable for all of us to know what they say and how the return/replacement process goes. If they are willing to fix the things that are broken, while still being a hassle at least they stand behind their brand and we will kjowif we do purchase from them in the future at least they will fix it. Cherry Wallis bought the really expensive Disney swarovski crystal calendar this year and she had some issues with some stuff being printed incorrectly and she reached out to them and it took so long for them to get back to her that she just wanted the refund at that point instead of replacements. They took so long to get back to her though that she was almost out of the refund window... I would be really interested to see if louboutin does the same thing or if they actually will fix their mistakes

I think it’s great you decided to work more like a make up artist and swatch without contaminating the product. I stan a Queen who doesn’t waste and understand each product may have value for someone. What would’ve been cute with the keychain was if the pieces were second items for different days throughout the calendar. So some days you get a decent item plus a charm for the keychain. So it’s still a "collect them all!" type of experience.

As someone that owns the "red bottoms," I'm not surprised that things came damaged or feel cheap. I love how my shoes look and the actual shoes are very nice, but the red comes off soooooo easily from the bottom and they're honestly disappointing tor the price. That 'reusable' lipstick container, with the chain and charms, looks like something you would buy at Claire's (and it would come without any actual lipstick too). They'd probably charge less but still more than it's actually worth.

This box almost looks like they sent you a returned box? I saw another unboxing of this and I think everything was wrapped in red tissue paper. That is so aggravating especially if it had been a gift for someone. I would try to return it.

See as soon as she mentioned that all the jointed areas where they connect were torn and damaged my immediate thought was that's a return box that someone already opened up. They definitely should have discounted those and posted they were return boxes, and matter of fact they shouldn't have even resold them at all, ESPECIALLY considering the issue with returned opened makeup products being potentially contaminated now with who knows what. Something I instilled in my daughter from the start was you DO NOT share makeup for this very reason. It's dangerous and legitimately potentially life altering.

Then you uploaded this. I had already watched Lauren May Beauty unbox this calendar, so when I saw that YOU were doing it, I literally gasped and clicked on it immediately.
Thanks to your suffering through this, I finally got up from the sofa, got myself some food and a cup of coffee (caffeine free), and sat upright and smiled and ate and watched.
Finally. After HOURS of ADHD mental/emotional fatigue induced paralysis, I was re-animated. Brought back to life.

We use paper bags to put fried chicken in after they come out of the oil. It absorbs the grease and keeps your chicken warm until the rest is done. You have quite the fried chicken bag there ma’am 🤩

Just as a note, the mascara you got is also not up to quality. The reason it looked like it had "a lot of mascara on it" is because the plunger that scrapes excess product off the wand popped off the body of the product! (You can see the plunger stuck to the wand itself)

Great video! I once bought a fancy advent calendar like this one (wasn’t LB) and it too was a rip off. I’d rather spend the money on a couple of luxury products I really like and will use. But of course the advent calendar gives the fun of a surprise.
I would also make the point that if the colour rubbed off the refillable lipstick holder just from its being in a cardboard box, what’s it going to be like after being jumbled about in a handbag or makeup purse?

PLEASE reach out to customer service ESPECIALLY since you have the whole unboxing recorded to prove what you are saying, and see what they offer you to fix things. I would REALLY like to know what their customer service is like and if they will replace what is broken and messed up etc etc I think it would truly be valuable for all of us to know what they say and how the return/replacement process goes. If they are willing to fix the things that are broken, while still being a hassle at least they stand behind their brand and we will kjowif we do purchase from them in the future at least they will fix it.
Cherry Wallis bought the really expensive Disney swarovski crystal calendar this year and she had some issues with some stuff being printed incorrectly and she reached out to them and it took so long for them to get back to her that she just wanted the refund at that point instead of replacements. They took so long to get back to her though that she was almost out of the refund window...
I would be really interested to see if louboutin does the same thing or if they actually will fix their mistakes

I stan a Queen who doesn’t waste and understand each product may have value for someone. I am so tired of TH-camrs decluttering products for views aka throwing it in the trash while there are people who can’t even afford makeup. The Loubidoo perfume is a Strawberry-Rose perfume that was kind of popular in 2020. I think it smells very childish, kind of like the cheap early 2000's body sprays that were so popular in high school. It's giving Claire's.

And, if you are a LV regular, you get those little vials AS SAMPLES WITH A PURCHASE. Learned that on a TH-cam channel that is a LV collector. They were even furious with this calender.

What would’ve been cute with the keychain was if the pieces were second items for different days throughout the calendar. So some days you get a decent item plus a charm for the keychain. So it’s still a "collect them all!" type of experience.

As someone that owns the "red bottoms," I'm not surprised that things came damaged or feel cheap. I love how my shoes look and the actual shoes are very nice, but the red comes off soooooo easily from the bottom and they're honestly disappointing tor the price. Contact customer service for your broken items
