- Today we've got our second ever Honda on the channel. A 2024 Honda Civic Sport. I'm super excited to start including more makes and models on the channel. Totally agreed about the USB ports! I was shocked to notice that there wasn't a USB-C port
Honda promotes "Honda Safety Sensing" but doesn't have blind spot monitor on LX or Sport models😂😂😂😂

Right! I have that on my CR-V & I feel every car should have it. Even if you're an expert driver, it's still helpful & nice to have.
In Canada it does also have sunroof and heated seats i dont understands why US don't

I have a new civic in my driveway. Right next to it is my 2003 F150. It only has 131.000 miles on it and I just couldn't part with it. Not worth much but you can't replace it. Might need a bag of mulch from the home Depot someday.

European Sport (e-hev) is closer to your EX.
Some (not all) differences:
- 184HP + 315 torque (hybrid)
- much lower fuel consumption (45-55 mpg)
- e-CVT (which means there's no transmission at all)
- 0-60 in 7,5 sec
- led fog lights
- tinted windows
- folder mirrors with turn signals
- BSI and front and back parking sensors
- autodimming mirror
- 2 USBs in front , 2 back
- induction charger
- wireless carplay and Android auto (this one requires "a hack')
- separate passenger AC zone with AC vents back
- heated seats with powered lumbar support
- more leather inside
- armrest in the middle of back seats
- slightly different "tablet"

That color is awesome. The Rallye Red is also real sharp looking. Why is Honda eliminating the engine temp gauge in the instrument cluster replaced by an IDIOT light on many of its models? That's pretty cheap of Honda in my opinion. And why can't you permanently defeat the annoying stop/start feature through the vehicle software. Ridiculous you have to push the button every time you restart the vehicle.
Mine rides like a truck. Im actually going to have them check for shipping blocks on the springs. Probably the wheels is the problem. This is why I lease and yes I test drove it. No problems on super nice roads.
Fog lights can be installed obvi, right?
A rare Civic is the sport touring with the 6 speed. Seldom will a oem put a manual transmission in a top trim. I wanted that car. My knee wanted something else. We ended up in a compromise.
How in the world do you clean that honeycomb dash out when dust gets in there?

I just got one last Sunday and I agree with the previous comment. Might as well pay a little bit extra for all of the extra amenities/features.
I have mine for 3 months and it's horrible quality, already 2 repairs.... I don't know what happened with Honda reliability. I guess no one make good quality cars anymore.

Local dealer prices make no sense.
I have the 2024 sport same color, there are differences between canadian and united states. In canada the trim level is above the ex where in the united states the sport is below the ex. The canadian sport is above the ex and has a moon roof and turn lights on mirrors. Why the difference between countries makes no sense to me

2021 was over imo… Honda takes out the fog lights smh and add the crap auto engine off… won’t get a 24 when my 21 lease is up.
It's ok but like the 4th 5th and 6th generation Civics better 1988-2000. I drive a 99 Civic Coupe not saying the Civic in the video is bad it's ok just looks too modern like the older interior and exterior styling better at least for now there is an option to have a Civic without a turbo or hybrid.

The styling just doesn't do it for me. It looks a little frumpy. Probably going the get the 2025 Camry.
You didn’t mention how to turn on fog lights
The 2024 sport doesn’t come with fog lights
Look in the fog light housing and you’ll notice it’s actually the sense system
- no wireless carplay or Android auto
- no wireless charger
- bunch of hard plastic
- no leather seats
- no usb c
- CVT
- 150 hp
- no electric seat adjustment
- no autodimming mirror
- no sunroof
- 7 inch infotainment screen
- no blind spot sensors
- generic audio system

Agreed! I drove this thing for 2 days and the drive was honestly really smooth. But the fact that there is only one USB port in the entire car was a huge disappointment and a lot of features were just missing that you would expect in a Sport trim.

Can you tell me the better options please ? I have a 2020 Nissan Sentra SV that has all the features that I need. But it’s a POS. I test drove a Civic Sport and I would lose several features, plus a smaller infotainment, a worse back up camera. I’m so conflicted.
