    When storing lithium batteries the best storage voltage is about 3.8-3.85v per cell. I've noticed that the way different bikes/bms's/controllers calculate the percentage varies. So it's good to know exactly where to leave things.

    I have been looking for years and love the new eride and your vids, great job all around. I’m 42 and have ridden all my life and when I think of these bikes I think of batteries. I live in bar harbor Maine and unfortunately can only ride like 9 months without studs, my question is would you ever use a trickle charger or dose the bike come with one/best option for storage battery wise? I appreciate the info and all your vids, keep it up.

    • @Talariaboys
      @Talariaboys  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You would just check your battery every 3-4 weeks over the winter and plug it in to charge for 30 minutes here and there to keep it in the ideal range. These batteries aren’t really designed to be trickle charged.

      You’ll have a blast with it! Got mine a few weeks ago, almost at 400 miles, it just takes a few days of consecutive riding to get adjusted to the seat. It’s not the most comfortable at first but it really is fine once you’re used to it, unless you’re riding in eco going 15-20mph for 50 miles then the battery will be dead long before the seat starts to hurt haha

    I’ve had my talaria mx4 r a year now since it came out. I’ve had a 54 tooth sprocket and o-ring chain most of the 4000 miles I’ve ridden the bike. Mostly all trail riding on rocky ruff trails, and knock on wood no problems with the bike! How often should I change sprockets and chains? I’m diligent on oiling the chain every time I ride. What do you think?

    Thank you for -posting such a helpful video about the maintenance for these bikes. I'm in the market and trying to decide between the Talaria R and the E-ride Pro. My biggest question between them is the transmission. I'm leaning towards the Talaria because it has a gear box vs a belt drive. Can you weigh in on which you prefer and more importantly, which is more reliable long term?

    • @Talariaboys
      @Talariaboys  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both do work well but we prefer the gearbox and it has ended up being extremely reliable and quiet/smooth when riding. Belts do work fine and don't often snap but it does happen.
