400-600 people are just taking their cars out to have fun because they enjoy racing...
Sadly a lot of 900+ (not all, but a LOT) racers are there to WIN, not there to race. It's just what it is.

What I learned from this video:
1. That white paxton was not "down on power" by 40%, numbers inflated
2. That GTR was NOT 600hp, numbers deflated
3. That red r32 owned the night

That’s on pump it makes 600 but I heard on e it makes around 700+ and the cstv at the time made like 590w now it’s 730ish
The Mustang guy later said that "it must be down on power" - you can't tell anything about these cars in a video when you don't know anything about them.
Frankly, most people aren't stupid enough to lie(real deal grudge guys don't count lol) about their numbers on the same video they're going to be racing in; it's not like you look good if it doesn't "look" like your car makes that power in a race
@@marsvortex5271 I raced a 630whp CTSV with a 600whp C6Z and gapped him good. So when the “600whp” CTSV raced through 550whp C6ZR1 I expected the ZR1 to gap him. When he didn’t. I was like someone’s lying. Also watched both races again to see how the ZR1 shifted. Didn’t seem to be an issue hitting gears. It’s all good. Just build it faster abs try again.

@2jz 240sx he only had intake and pulley. Literally the most basic you could be with those cars. Termis have a lot of potential and a blower swap will instantly put you in 700+hp territory, even on sbe

Seeing these kinda power numbers makes me realize how desensitized I've become after seeing so much 1000whp-2000whp+ vids
A lot of those 1000+ cars have to tune way down to run on the street. Not so much on the highway, but they still can't usually use it all.
Right, same here. I got into my buddies 400whp evo last summer and holy shit it was pulling like a monster. Fastest car I’ve been in and can’t imagine riding in something with hundreds more horses

About 12 years ago I went in a 1000+hp R32 GTR down the M4 highway in Sydney Australia. Hit over 300kph a few times and got from Parramatta to the Blue Mountains in about 8 minutes was the ride of my life.
nice to see some typical cars racing vs the "street" cars with 80K in them.
I'd rather see 80K on the odometer than 80K in the build.
It's not to say I don't like a "street car" that runs 7s.

All American dyno numbers are inflated. Take 200 - 300hp off what it says on the screen and you're in the real ball park.

Yeah my daily is a fiesta with a PumaSpeed X47r hybrid turbo running e30 and I make around 300whp and it definitely punches above its weight.

dude this is what I like, a break from the 1k+ cars and back to some normalish cars. Super chill, makes ppl feel that you can still have fun/compete with your build. Not all of us are down to dump 30k into a car or even 10k for that matter. mad props, hope to see more of these

I was going to ask on Facebook, but this video answered my questions. I saw the maroon r32 on hwy 77 heading north into Lincoln yesterday afternoon.
I really like how this video was done. Vehicle intros were awesome and very helpful/informative, made watching the races a lot more enjoyable for us data dickheads. I wish you guys spent more time on the west coast. Hope I get to high five you guys int he future.

Yeah those rb26 transmissions aren’t the best with 1000+ which is why it’s worth going sequential. Just a lot more rowdy with the fast and aggressive shifts. Light car as well so it moves.

I’ve got some slicks for it but hooks up with the r888r’s pretty damn good. It was super cold that night was the reason for traction issues.
