- Another INSANE night of street racing with some ridiculously HIGH HORSEPOWER cars! There were three GTR's (the LOWEST horsepower being 1500HP) that wanted a piece of this Calvo Motorsports Viper! Needless to say, it made for some great racing that night.

A lot of people in these comments defending the GTRs excuses are forgetting they're tryna put the Viper at a disadvantage everytime by rolling on 40 instead of 60 because they know their GTRs gonna lose.

Recently its been Super car stuff mainly I think because based on their video schedule all the videos From Mitm are to be rolled out now and honestly those "Super cars" had the best races there. Also they do plenty of underdog stuff the rest of the year but this was the event for BIGDOGS and they can make for some crazy races.

Not me. I'll take 1900 rwhp Vipers vs. 1900 awhp GTRs doing 200 mph daylight runs anyday of the week. I might be in the minority here, but watching 550 rwhp H/C/I/ Vettes is a bit stale to me.

Your Viper is awesome!. Much quicker than the GT-Rs when racing from 50 or 60 roll. 40mph is too low for a rwd vehicle with that kind of power and the GTR owners know it..

Feels like a lot of excuses on all sides... GTR's always want the low speed run to use the traction advantage. The Viper wants a respectable 50mph roll which works for both cars... Then traffic, then temps, trans issues, I cant hear you, no we cant go over 160mph etc Everybody run from 50mph and let them run to 180ish to see what the best pulls are

I feel like that 1500 hp GT-R put up a better fight than that 1900hp GT-R. Also it's kinda funny when the Viper guy complains to that white GT-R for jumping and then continues to do the same in all races.
Probably 1900hp had less torque on the low end vipers pull hard Cuhz they have huge amount of torque on the big end
Viper: 10x pre Test runs, 5 excuses, power band in 4th gear.

@@kevinu6004 I get not wanting to lose if money is on the line, which I doubt a high HP Viper would shake on a 40 roll, but i'm assuming these were fun runs and it'd be ok to lose and be honest. Makes no sense. Sensitive ego's.
No one would give us a 60, to make things worse it had just finished raining 🌧 30 mins prior and was 45 out. People think we’re making excuses but it was all for fun, when I showed up no cars were racing and the gtr’s did want to run each other, I agreed to go out and throw down knowing we would struggle for traction, was going to swap the tires before the initial run but figured we could just go a head and test on the old ones, I told everybody who wanted to feel free to line up next to us while we test and regardless of conditions I would be happy to play around, it’s a shame no one ever just wants to race anymore, it’s always some race they feel they have advantage rather than just one where both cars have traction
