My my my. Sammy Davis Jr. was crazy kool. His mannerisms were like poetry in motion.

The mold was broken when fellows like Sammy Davis Jr. + a gathering of other Americans made sense & we listened, rather than dismissing many rehashed tired values (Wanna Be Blow Hards) try to put over on today's cramped & confused deaf eared society.

Wow. Sammy Davis Jr. and the comedian were both under 5'6" tall. James Brown I think was just 5'6" and just superbly talented. The guitarist with the "chubby cheeks" really played a heavy song. Bless him! LIFE isn't easy BUT it's beautiful with FAITH. Shalom.

What made Sammy the greatest is when you think about what he had to overcome to get where he was as a black man

Wow. Wow. I remember Family Affair with Brian Keith and how wholesome it was. I MISS television with decent standards. What is the hell we have today in 2014?!!

Yes, I remember Family Affair too as a kid. Seems like I read somewhere that that little boy died in childhood and his tv twin sister died at a young age.

Wow, that opening 1-2 punch of commercials for denture glue and wrinkle cream shows that the producers knew their audience!
Sammy's last number seems to be his attempt at Elvis' last number from his 1968 Comeback Special.

+Randy Inghram That was the same cause of the death of Walt Disney's mother, Flora Call Disney, a carbon monoxide leak in a new home in North Hollywood Walt and his brother Roy purchased for their parents after the success of their film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Fortunately, today there are carbon monoxide detectors available the same as smoke alarms for homes, both required by law for multi-unit dwellings in many states.
