Here I am with a new reaction about @nightwish a band that I love BUT I didn't know this song! So this is the very first time I listened to it: "Weak Fantasy" from the live at Tampere in 2015. Crazy performance!!

This song is basically an anti organized religion song. Also this is a song wrote mostly by Marco with some help from Tuomas
Ciao Giacomo! Grande reaction! La voce narrante all'inizio è dell'evoluzionista Richard Dawkins. Il brano è ispirato al suo libro "l'illusione di Dio" il quale è una forte critica alle religioni organizzate. Tuomas si è ispirato alle altre varie opere di Richard Dawkins sull'evoluzione per scrivere l'album Endless Forms Most Beautiful. A questo punto ti consiglio di guardare il brano "The Greatest Show on Earth" in particolare il live a Wembley dove Dawkins stesso è ospite live e recita l'ultimo paragrafo dell'origine della specie

Innanzi tutto complimenti per la reaction, spiegazione tecnica professionale ma, al tempo stesso, comprensibile anche ai profani. La canzone fa riferimento alle religioni ed alle loro parti oscure, criticandone la tendenza alla tossicitá di pensiero. Questo era il primo album in cui Floor interpretava canzoni scritte direttamente per la sua voce, fino ad allora lei aveva solo interpretato canzoni dei Nightwish scritte per le due cantanti precedenti
Temevo avessi già concluso il filone nightwish. 😁🤭 li adoro anche perché nel loro repertorio offrono una varietà incredibile di suoni, di ritmi, di strumenti, e due voci (ora purtr. marco ha lasciato) incredibili. Just a technical point. You seem to have arranged the translation in Finnish, I have a feeling Google is involved in this. The problem always is that Floor's name is usually translated the meaning of the word in English. So it becomes "Lattia" in Finnish. Pavimento! (had to check that out in dictionary, my Italian studies got a setback when COVID prevented a family trip to your beautiful country 😕)
The song is all about (organized) religion and the hypocrity of it. Not a easy topic for a well-known band like Nightwish to sing about,but then again,they are no hypocrits and also admirers of Richard Dawkins.
