I am 70 yrs old and and the Sondors bike will be perfect for a 10 ml trip town as I own a gas guzzling Mercedes ML 320. Also like to point out that I rode big Honda motorbikes in my youth but at my age I think I’ll be safer on a metacycle!
You really needed a section for availability. Where can you buy it and who is it available to? Only US , only EU? For example, SuperSoco doesn't have a US distributor so you'll have to do a private import. Saves us a lot of time looking up if it's available in out country or not.
I totally agree on your top 2 although I would definitely not strip the F77, however cool it also looks under the skin. It's still not in full production though and I wonder if it will ever hit Europe at a decent (enough) price. I am patiently waiting though! I like the concept of the Metacycle as well but it is still a bit too meagre in power and range. More of a starting point indeed! Great frame though.

You can get a good used GPZ1100 for under 2 grand. 0-60 in 2,8 secs. 1/4 miles in the 10's. They always start and run great. 145hp. Since you save 4 grand, you can buy well over a 1000 gals of fuel for the savings. That is years and years of free riding on your savings. Range unlimited.
You can soon buy an all electric Mini Cooper, an affordable all electric motorcycle, and rent a vehicle better for long trips. It will likely be much better in a few years, for charger availability especially for apartments, and no coal and less natural gas used to make the electricity.

sondors metacycle is now $6k. Seems a bit steep for me considering is a hub motor. Lots of mid drive solutions out there now. I like the 4kwh battery though and for city commuting hub motors will get the job done, but just prefer mid drives.. especially in this price range
Why do you refer to battery capacity in amps? That tells us nothing. We need to know either Amp Hours or Watt Hours to know what the capacity of the battery is.

I own a hub motor electric motorcycle and it is a super smooth and compact solution. The 2 wheel bearings are the only moving parts of the entire drive train ! Its a nominal 8kW motor with an efficiency of 80-90% which means around 1kW is heat loss. My motor is sealed and it slowly overheats after 20-30 km. They need to be liquid cooled.
@@0141star I had a mid motor planned and purchased already but ditched it for an 8kW hub to have more space for the battery. The additional unsprung weight is not noticable. Acceleration from stand still is sluggish first. Biggest issue is heat, they need liquid cooling. I would NEVER fit a chain because of the Grease and NOISE.....just NASTY on an E-bike. Hub motored vehicle are almost silent and maintenance free too.

Electric motorcycles are too small. They are fantastic but small. The small size effects the perception of the market. Although many people are sized small, many are not. If you are above 6' and 200 lbs, electric bikes are too small.

That Denzel has been pushed for years and I have never seen a true review for it anywhere! I don't think they ever actually put the Cafe Racer in production... would like to hear more about it my self. The Metacycle by far seems like the best deal currently weighing reserving one myself.
