I’m way to old to ride a bike but I do.. best thing about ebikes is you don’t have to kill yourself climbing hills...I’ve done almost 800 miles in a year!! And the bikes still going strong..home to work then work to the gym and home all on one charge!!

Wait a few more years and these models will be defunct and nobody will want them. As people are brainwashed into having the best of everything cause it goes 10kmh faster and is 100grams lighter so they will pay 18grand for it over the one for 1grand which does everything that one does just a tiny bit less efficient.
But most cost 5-10% of that and as mentioned, these are still new.. there are also plenty of sub1k ebikes out there. Thats like picking out one of those 100k gold and diamond encrusted iPhones and pretending that they represent smartphones as a whole.

My new Aostimotor1500W Stars and Stripes model was $2300.00 + $100.00 for extras. Top speed 32mph stock. Range 30 Miles on flat surface. Disclaimer: I base my range on treating the battery good and that means around 20 mile round trip range. in other words no more than 20% drain for Lipo longevity. Don't leave a Lipo fully charged if you're not going to be riding it, Leave it drained 20% for long storage. Don't leave Lipo on a charger.
I rode the Vintage Tracker and it rides hard and goes maybe 32mph max. My M1 Spitzen is faster and my HPC Rev X is truly a fast bike but one that can be peddled at any speed, too. I own a GreyP and it flat out sucks all around.

Got an Apollo Valier. £1100. 30odd mph. Just a handy toy. But reliable. Commute. Great when you want quick nip up to wherever.
