I keep telling myself I don't have 40 minutes to watch a walk-thru of a luxury hotel I'll never visit, yet here I am, week after week, haha.
Matt Man Just watching is refreshing honestly. I tune everything out, take it the sights and sounds, and at journey's end I haven't emptied my wallet and feel somehow refreshed.
You should visit it. It's the most amazing place I've seen on this earth.

Matt Man you don't have to stay at expensive Hotels all the time you can find really cheap local b&b and book few days on luxury one's ..but Nungwi coast has more beautiful places and beautiful sand...check on Booking.com

Bravo! - the 12 minute continuous handheld footage is extremely well done - not easy in a relatively crowded complex space, and you keep the horizon horizontal! The pacing is perfect.

Excellent review. I've had more fun than before. My favourite Indian ocean island is Mauritius, I'm going there in summer this year. Keep on filming and reviewing these islands and hotels and places and planes and excursions and resorts. It's all exciting viewed on your channel. Have all the fun you can!

I always like the videos you make and the music is as beautiful as the scenery, a great combination! Also, when you review airline flights, I am a window person too so the views of our earth are even more spectacular. Keep up your channel, it is so enjoyable. Hint, I use Bose QC-35 headphones and it really enhances those instrumentals.

WOWZERS ! Extraordinary again. If one can make a request though, please include a description of your menu choices and/or to film the actual menu. Beautiful scenery and the tidal aspect of the resort is very interesting. I suppose the lack of beach is the reason for the stunning pools. Thank you.

Excellent video. Your camera work has improved even more and the long 12min sequence was beautiful. I'd like to see some more attention to detail to the food items and a bit more info about the dining experience in general, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The water color is exquisite.
I would need a bath to be in the villa and a proper beach for me to book this place but it has stunningly beautiful scenery and I would definitely visit that restaurant on the jetty 👍🏽

I would want to spend all my time just lying in the surf. Or beachcombing. This is another one of those lovely places to go just to calm the heck down. That big roof over the lobby is great for drawing off the heat and helping circulate cool air.

From all the research I have done, I would say Seychelles, Maldives, then here. I have also added Vietnam to my list. I’ll probably never get to go, I’ve waited to long, but maybe I’ll get a miracle!

Great video (as always). A small error, though: Qatar Airways and Oman Air have scheduled flights to Zanzibar too.
I know. But when you are from Europe, like me, then flying with Qatar Airways or Oman Air to Zanzibar is a detour.

Maldives is my favourite
I get that this is about luxury travel, but it's not that hard to get to the island. The African airlines are just fine. Especially Kenya Airways. There is a ferry from Dar Es Salaam that takes about an hour and a half, it's a high speed ferry and I can recommend taking it because you may even see dolphins on the way. It's very possible to travel to Zanzibar on a budget too.

@@missglamourous2485 Nice! Azam Ferries depart from the port in Dar Es Salaam. You can buy your ticket from the official ticket office there. If you are not a resident, it should be somewhere around $30 for the cheapest ticket.

One more question: Are visitors recommended to take an anti-malaria pill such as malarone? Or is malaria not a problem on Zanzibar?
Malaria risk on Zanzibar is low but it's still a risk. I did take Malarone. I recommend to check the travel advise on the website for the CDC.

The best time to visit Tanzania is during the long dry period (June to October) or the short dry season (January & February).

I don't know why, but low tide views in this scenario are a bit weird... Everything so perfect, then - low tide moss and dirt... That must be cheaper night prices when tides are low at prime swimming time.

this hotel has much to recommend it - however, the park Hyatt wins on execution and polish. this Zulu hotel needs to upgrade the furniture - it looks cheap those chairs in the room and the sofas in reception, from a cheap IKEA. its good still for Africa generally, but park Hyatt wins this round

1stgen I have travelled to Ethiopia, Morocco, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Cameroon, Mozambique and South Africa. I have stayed in 5* hotels that screwed everything up - especially in Malabo! In Maputo I woke in a 5* hotel to find my room full of water from a ceiling leak! You pay a fortune for 5* in Africa and only South Africa is consistent. Morocco is second and the rest, God help you generally.
IMHO, the most luxurious accommodations in Tanzania also rank among Africa's best (Singita, &Beyond). Botswana also has some fabulous lodges.

Chai2574 Equatorial Guinea has the highest GDP per capita in Africa. There is a lot of business to be done there! The Sofitel is a good looking building in Sipopo and in Malabo, but the food is like bush meat and the service levels can at times be disgraceful. Called for a car to a meeting and waited well over an hour to get it - made me late. Also, I found it unacceptable that the hotel shop sold skin whitening creams! That was a huge shock to see. Now I only stay in hotels on the Amex FHR hotel list in Africa and worldwide, then I know I will be looked after. Also, this website is a good guide too.
