    Lyrics
I can't see the meaning of this life I'm leading
I try to forget you as you forgot me
This time there is nothing left for you to take, this is goodbye
Summer is miles and miles away
And no one would ask me to stay
And I should contemplate this change
    To ease the pain
And I should step out of the rain
    Turn away
Close to ending it all, I am driftingthrough the stages
Of the rapture born within this loss
Thoughts of death inside, tear me apart from the core of my soul
Summer is miles and miles away
And no one would ask me to stay
And I should contemplate this change
    To ease the pain
And Ishould step out of the rain
    Turn away
At times the dark's fading slowly
    But it never sustains
    Would someone watch over me
    In my time of need

Summer is miles and miles away
And no one would ask me to stay
And I should contemplate this change

I cannot believe what I have been missing all these years. My favorite band for almost two decades has been Between the Buried and Me. And I can see how Opeth has influenced much of their sound. Today is a monumental day for me. Gonna be listening to a lot more Opeth going forward.

I found out in my dark days that, if you really want to kill yourself, you dont tell anyone and you dont even think it to yourself cus its just an instinct your mind and body does when you are maniacally depressed/suicidal
I had my time thinking "every attempt i make is useless, i dont have anyone blah blah blah" back in the day and with atleast 16 sort of suicide attempts but also to divert the pain of my never ending migraine that i chronically have just to feel a different pain cus it would temporarily distract my headache most of the suicide attempts i made
Point is: bruh, life gets so much fucking better. Quit whining about having nobody and go out and make friends for life somewhere

There was a short period in my life when I presented my father with Opeth, he was shocked to fine they were a metal band. He expected them all in suits, playing gracefully as thought they would never reduce themselves to screams and growls, regardless he loved it all. It was a strange time, and the best part was when he asked to hear this album over and over again. He loved Opeth.
