- In the Shade Garden we Are doing some spring cleanup. Brayden and I start by weeding, dividing plants to place in new gardens and to save money, moving a few to new homes and laying down a fresh layer of compost. When the spring rains come in for a few days we head to the beach for a short getaway and I have to admit it was much needed, giving our body's a short rejuvenating break. Questions for you, What hedge would you grow along the gravel road? should I put in a path to the gas tank and if so what should it be?

Is that a Clematis Armandii Snowdrift? The evergreen clematis? This plant just came to my attention a couple weeks ago, and I really, really want one, but I cannot find it available anywhere online!! I think the YT algorithm is tormenting me, teasing me by feeding me videos of others growing it. Your channel just came to my attention today and here you are with that evergreen clematis! No matter, I think I'm going to really love your channel! So beautiful and you're so genuine about it. Love the video. Everything is looking so good! I love how you take the "guilt" out of gardening and projects. Sometimes we all complain and compare our spaces to someone else's but your attitude towards the garden and what you need is the same as mine.
Well its not easy to not compare, but I've learned over the years that each garden and each gardener has different demands and circumstances. To give grace, not only to yourself but also to others is key. Each gardener has a labor of love put into there space and each one a different look, I tend to celebrate each one even if its not in the style I like or colors, that in turn allows me to garden in grace and find mercy for my own garden and self. 🌷
