Creating Festive Holiday Wreaths 2024 | NEW Addition to The Farm
We are starting the holiday season by creating our festive holiday wreaths for both our own online store and for the wreaths we collaborate on with @Schreiners Iris Gardens Links below to pre-order. Rilley is the designer of the festive wreaths this year and she is having so much fun with it! Jason and Keith are working on a little new addition to the farm to make us more room this year for wreaths and all the mess they make.

Good job one and all. Coming together nicely.
Riley, I love your thoughts about the wreaths! I love ALL OF them and understand your inspirations! I want them all😂😊
Qq
Good morning! Excited to see your continued improvements and Christmas prep for the holiday season!
And I love, love, love Riley’s wreaths!
Riley you are so talented 💯
Is that a potato on the Narnia wreath mood board? I’m down with the tater… don’t get me wrong. Just curious 🥔 ❤
Rilley's choices for the wreaths, remind me of "country elegance". I just love that look of all the outdoorsy feel, pine cones, berries, bittersweet, grapevine. Much success with all the ambitious changes on your farm.
🩷💚💙🩷💚💙
Tell Riley I love all the wreaths but the last is my favorite. ❤️
Lovely wreaths! The new space will be so useful.
Beth, my Sunday is not complete until I watch your latest video. It inspired me to make my wreath this year and I can gather all the supplies from my garden. Have a great wreath sale.
That new space will be so useful. It's good to have handy folks in the family. Those wreaths are so lush! It's amazing the volume of materials that go into them. Wow!
I am feeling inspired after watching your video😊
Rilley - Those wreaths are beautiful… Your creativity is amazing! Jason and Keith - Great job on the extra space. I love seeing how your family works so well together. Also, it was so fun to hear your podcast is up again! I had a stressful week and the podcast really brightened my day. 🌻 Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
I love your channel. Why be pigeonholed on only one subject. It all works in harmony. Sometimes I show flowers and plants and sometimes in decorating my house. It’s all good
Those colors are just gorgeous
Love this! Colors are gorgeous and I enjoyed the detailed instructions. Inspired to go out and cut some foliage, dahlias, and zinnias!
What a lovely tutorial -- thank you! There were some sections of the arrangement that had such a beautiful color gradient that I just loved!
We are just getting underway with our season here in Australia, we’ve had our first couple of dahlia blooms this week, the cosmos is bushing up a little and our snapdragons are needing a bit of a haircut. Our sweat peas have been absolutely stunning so far this year and our chocolate cosmos is just starting to have the odd open bloom here and there. All of our bulbs are now pulled up and in storage and our asiatics, oriental Lillie’s and gladioli are now planted. Ive had a full 2 days making strawberry jam with some of our early start strawberries, baked biscuits today and made some delicious white chocolate rose rocky road. It’s this time of year that we share in some of the same blooms, as yours are fading ours are beginning their lifecycle. Thankyou for sharing your way of making a table arrangement, I am currently making small posy jars for tables each week for our farm stand as I too think big arrangements in the middle of a table stop people from being able to enjoy a conversation across the table, smaller height arrangements means that they are left on the table and conversations happen around and threw the airy fairy flowers. Have an amazing week Cheers Theresa :)
I love this design. I have snapdragons, heirloom mums, zinnias and some roses. We haven’t had frost yet here in 8a NC. Thanks Beth😊
Pretty 💕
Very nicely done! Everything is done for the year here but I can still enjoy the color from the house plants and dried flowers. Plus, enjoying your great video's with all the beautiful flowers certainly helps. Thanks for sharing!
Your videos are always informative and inspirational. Thank you!
You and Riley are so talented. Love your flower arrangements! The recent weddings you did were stunning!😊
I haven't been able to get out in my yard. Recouping from a surgery. Getting better. 😊 but frustrating. I'll get there! I think I have some dahlias yet. Need to get out between the rain showers! Haha 😄
How fun! A special mid-week video. I love using heavenly bamboo for foliage stems, especially this time of year.
I am BLOWN away by the snapdragons--full and blooming at THIS time of year? Is that only in that greenhouse? Or outside as well? And I wanted to pick your brain--do you sow seeds for cool flowers in the fall in the ground, and if so do you find that bugs/birds and squirrels etc are eating your new sprouts? Just trying to decide if its best to use row cover over seeded ground outdoors in the fall?--My first batch of batchelor buttons this fall were COMPLETELY decimated by squirrels. Second batch is protected now by row cover. Just wondering what you find --I am only 25 miles from you
Great video! I enjoy them all!
About love i think❤
Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! Zinnias are all that is left in my garden plus 1sad cherry tomato! Zone7 Oklahoma
Thanks for the tutorial. That's a lovely arrangement. I only discovered chocolate cosmos this year. I have 2 fantastic plants flanking a path entrance. They're a real statement and amazing performers. And a chocolate scent, bonus!
I find your channel very informative. We need more channels like yours to spread happy and healthy lifestyles. I enjoy your ideas on gardening and flower arranging that I practice here on the East Coast. My favorite is when you and Rylie create beautiful wedding work. Keep up all the hard work, it is truly appreciated.
I love how you all arrange flowers! This was the perfect video for today because I’m putting together 10 arrangements for my niece’s baby shower. It’s a vintage story book themed shower so I’m going to use mini-white pumpkins, from my garden, as the vessel and then add flowers around my garden to the pumpkin. I have some heirloom mums that look fantastic as well as a few dahlias. Thank you for all that you share. Have a wonderful day! 🌻
Lovely arrangement😍
This was lovely, thank you for bringing us along! :) I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, and we've had several frosts already, but my Bonica rose still has blooms on it, and there are pansies and ornamental kale, of course. Foliage wise my Glow Girl birch spirea, is looking lovely, but it's new this year, as are my yews, so no clipping from that for a while. Most everything else has lost its leaves.
Beautiful arrangement! I don't know how you can take different color flowers and make them look like they all blend together. It just seems to come natural to you. Love all your arrangements! Have a great day.
I LOVE your all your videos! Your flower farm, gardens, floral design, aesthetic, lifestyle, you & your family, your genuine & kind character, are just beautiful. I got your book last fall, grew the ranunculus that came with it, they were so pretty! Thank you for sharing all that you do! 👩🌾🍂🍁🧡🤎 (~Jenny, from Nebraska😊)
I love your arrangements so much and you make it look effortless! Beautiful !
Your work is always stunning ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
I love when we get to see you two creating in the studio! So fun 💚
So glad!
I am in awe! Absolutely stunning. I love that so much is greenery!
it was so hard to capture it and give it the show it deserved, so much better in person.
Beautiful! Do you do amything to the fern leaves to keep them from wilting? I haven't had success with them in bouquets.
It depends on the variety you use, not all ferns are hardy we have found. We cut fresh in the woods and keep them in the cooler till we use
Stunning arrangements and artistry!
thank you my friend
great video
Thanks!
ANTS are the must for the blooms to open and huge flowers ! NEVER FEAR or try to get rid of them.
Hanging lacewing egg cards in the rows can help remove aphids. Lacewings are known as the aphid exterminator or aphid lions because one lacewing larvae can eat up to 500 aphids in one day. That’s how we avoid using nasty neem. Neem is extremely harmful to beneficial insects, soil health and microbes in the soil. Not to mention the fact that there is recent evidence based research studies to suggest that aphids are building a tolerance to neem and it actually increases the amount of pest pressure over time. Many people think that it is not harmful to beneficial insects but that is simply not true. There are many natural ways to combat pest pressure that don’t affect our soil health or beneficial bugs.
We grew 600 last year in successions. First planting in Nov and second planting in Dec. This gave us blooms from late Feb- first week of May. (Zone 10b). We don’t pre sprout we just soak and plant out. This year we have 1000 ranunculus corms going in and only 300 anemone tubers. We opted for more tulips over anemones this year. Tulips in 10b is an interesting challenge. 😂
Your designs are amazing. That final wedding was outstanding!
It was such a fun and beautiful space to design in and we had so much fun with it.
Stunning arrangements! Quite the busy weekend - but you pulled it off well. That last one was huge - I was surprised to see palms growing there. Lovely job on them all!!
Thanks so much! We can grow palms here but it looks a little odd in the landscape unless its done well like at this venue😊
