I am watching this video because sweet peas are one of my favorite flowers but I have never gotten them to grow here in Fountain Co. I have learned it’s too hot from watching another channel but hopefully if I start them indoors very very early and plant them before the last frost date MAYBE I can enjoy them for a short time. I am having a hard time because I am wanting to learn about ways of growing sweet peas but you aren’t even showing the planting them and you are rambling so I can’t even keep track. What growing zone are you in? EDIT: ok, so I commented too soon, shortly after commenting you got down to business. Your sweet peas are gorgeous. I am saving this video for reference early, early next spring when I attempt to grow them. I don’t have a lot of hope because we do feed birds, I’ll have to keep an eye out. The unofficial rule for planting here is Mothers Day but then it starts getting hot pretty soon after, I’ll try for beginning of April (dirty month for sweet peas), maybe even end of March, we’ll see what the weather is. We are zone 5b-6a. Next I am watching your other sweet pea video. I’ve learned we have to dig deep down and add good compost to feed the roots then mulch on top. I am excited to give it a try, I have nothing to lose and everything to potentially gain. Thank you. 💕

Some of my earliest memories are of visiting the pumpkin patch on Sauvies Island. I used to take my children as well when they were young. It got too big and crowded. I want to go somewhere small and charming,hint hint! What are your hours? I'll be there!

Beth this is such a credit to you and your family. It makes me a bit teary watching this all come to life for you all. We’ve had a major hiccup with our rotten council who don’t seem to see the beautiful romantic big picture of a flower farm and nursery that people can visit. We have worked so hard to get to where we are today after 5 years of repairing our farm from the black summer bushfires, its a bit heart breaking to find ourselves now in this position after the council changed our land usage without our knowledge during covid. We have asked where our notification was for the land usage change and believe it or not they didn’t write to any of us….just put up a notification on facebook apparently. Who would’ve thought that was legal! Where there is a will there is a way. Congratulations on your opening, everything looks absolutely magical. Much Love Theresa - Australia

Creating an experience is a great idea, particularly when you're a bit of a drive from a major centre. My gardening friend and I travel to interesting nurseries that offer this type of destination nursery.

Thankyou so much. I know if I looked in your catalogue of videos there would be something to help me. I have only ever grown just one sweet pea in the garden and had managed that really well….but this i decided I wanted 10 different varieties and man oh man are they springing to life. I wasn’t sure if the way i had them tied up was going to shunt their growth but after watching your video I now know I am being too light handed with the bailing twine and I really need to up my game and really strap her up with the twine. That has to be tomorrow mornings job now. Thanks Beth appreciate and love the way you explain things 🥰

Does hops hold up pretty well out of water? I grew one plant because I i was inspired by you guys! And it's finally thriving this year, but I'm not sure what to do with it 😅
