I've had one for about 2 weeks. It's the exact model you tested. It's a great edc. Super ergonomic and I love the looks of the knife as well. KB has a winner here just as you say in the review. 💯💯💯
At first I thought it was a Serge Panchenko. I like the look of the heavy wash. Wish it had a hollow grind and a bit more length but overall, a nice looking knife.
Grinding even on a mini-vacation! BOOM, it's what it takes man. Keep crush'n and we enjoy the channel here in San Antonio, TX PS......Please send crawfish boudin, and a hot fresh bag of cracklin's! AAAAAYEEEEE.
I have the kb knife velvet snake in this same dark blade finish and man it doesn’t hold up very good at all. It started showing wear after cutting one cardboard box. It’s not like an acid stone wash it’s more like a cheap titanium pvd coating with a media blast done over top to mimic a dark acid stone wash or at least that’s my best guess anyway. I still think the kb knives in this dark finish look really good but it holds up worse than a cheap pvd coating imo which really sucks. For a $200 knife I expected more out of the finish. Not to mention because the put the dark finish over the pivot area without marking it off first the closing action suffers greatly from it. U really have to break the finish in before it starts closing in a satisfying manner.

I'm loving what Kubey and KB have released this year!
Kinda blind sided me for sure. They're coming in late but hot for sure!
Thanks... after your review I bought a Bluff... I may buy this one also... Love the Bluff.
Merry Christmas, Nick. Thank you for the joy you bring to all your friends and subscribers❗️🎅🎄

Where that discoloration from?
@@Nightwolf866 testing the knife
@@Nightwolf866 they have non blasted blade versions but the ones with blasted blades always start looking like that after using them 👍🍻
