Fun fact! For anyone who doesn’t know, you can mix and match omnipods from any configuration you have unlocked for your builds. Example: ‘Timberwolf prime’ has “prime right arm pods ERL+ERM” but if you have the (A config) unlocked You can switch the ‘prime pod’ with the ‘A-pod’ which has a PPC, as an example. You can do this by selecting the component in question arms, torso etc and then pressing the (Omnipods) button on the bottom of the screen. I hope this helps ❤ Ps. I love the content and hope you’re doing well. Best regards from Texas
Sound of the weapons is really good. Screw you people complaining about the Mech availabity available every 2 missions. I like it and it fits in with my way of playing.
The only issue I had wth the whole game was the Gazelle, If you shoot the wings = thy are thin, they will break and Splinter faster than the belly of the plane - yes it's a game - 🎮 But still . . .it's a lay up, like shooting at a traveling car's tires.
The old games had setup commands for movement and deployment. Like line abreast, echelon left or right. They were great for keeping the lance from getting in your way.
Baradul, what you mention about engine heatsinks. At least in the original tabletop game an engine comes with ten, it can possibly hold more, but it doesn't start with them. Likewise very low-powered engines (like the Rifleman with it's 240 rated engine) cannot even hold their automatic basic ten so one (or more) has to be put into the chassis. Of course with the Clan mechs they are all clan doubles by default I believe. Also noting that the reason the Ultra weights more than the LBX is because it fires at double rate. And yes, uses twice as much ammo.
I ran a mission with a full Timbie Star. My favorites were Dual UAC10-Sld w/ 4xERSml, 8xMPL, and Naomi with 4xSRM6+A and 4xMPL. With Artemis and Naomi's spread reduction, the SRMs are so damn tight. Even better at range. But the MPLs are so good that 8xMPL was by far the strongest build. There are few engagements over 600m, so range wasn't a huge concern and the MPLs are just disgustingly strong.
Fun Fact: you'll never have enough salvage to research everything. Even after you finish the storyline and have no way to get more salvage you'll still be desperate.

Even if there be a chapter 2 you wouldn't have the tech since one path makes you leave the clans. Instead you would be having research to fit clan tech to inner sphere mechs and create C-types.
Just a food for thought: maybe you should try to command your star more to prevent them from gathering in a tight group around you? Less friendly fire from that maybe?
Bara, I envy the way you seem to instinctively optimize your mech's weapons and equipment. I've noticed it in all of the mech games you play. It's kind of a similar logic to MW5:Mercs, they could only take the AI so far so they balance with massive numbers in the OpFor. At least in this case, it makes a bit more sense in relation to canon, than a single over-tweaked Marauder solo'ing an entire battalion of mechs.

Doesn't the Summoner D have two Ballistic hardpoints on the shoulders and two lasers in each arm along with a targeting computer and at least one AMS? Not sure if perks are in use, it doesn't look like it, but the Summoner would be more suited (IMHO) than the Timber for ballistic work. Throw some SRMs on the shoulders, ER LL x2 and ER ML x2 maybe some additional HS and the Timber rocks all ranges. Especially since you have three pilots that are strong with Missiles. MD, MC, MC, Hellbringer and SMN, sounds like a wicked star.

I ran my timby with 7 mp lasers, was a little more consistent for me.
you'd prob get less recoil if you put the UAC on the arms and the lasers on the chest.
does uac cooldown reduction help, because the jam only comes from firing in cooldown?
Jam chance is based on how deep into your cooldown you are. So, maybe decreased cooldown also reduces jam chance?
does it help with the jamming if you chainfire the uacs?
Yes it does
Change those er ml to er sl and you are good on that timby :3
Does the “kerenskies” economy seem broken because you don’t lose mechs, Bara? Or is it more deliberate to project the “the Clans are very very scary”?
Does the Ultra Autocannon Cooldown ability affect how fast the weapon unjams?
If the game mechanic is similar to other MechWarrior games, then no. If I'm not mistaken only MWO has that ability as a 'Mech quirk.
It only jam when rapid fired, in MWO the UAC jam regardless.
How much of the game is left?
None. Publisher marketing.

He does it quicker than it takes to make it in the mechbay. And it will reset itself every time a mech is changed.
You should buy an entire Star of Timberwolves and rock every optional Omnipod setup!
I also have a star of Timbys and I second this recommendation.
