In this video will will show you how to bleed the cooling system on Kia Forte K3 ( Cerato) generation 2012-2018 with the 1.8 NU engine or 2.0 NU engine (verify). Kia Sportage and Soul uses that engine in some of their vehicles so the procedure should apply to it.

Why do you have to fill the hose first instead of filling the cap?
Have a 2015 Kia Optima and the coolant is not returning from overflow tank back into radiator, and pressure test is good. Already replaced the radiator cap and overflow tank hose so is there any other thing that will cause the coolant to not vacuum back into radiator??

hellow, I just got a coolant services at a kia dealer for my 2015 kia forte. The radiator looks the same as this engine. The white reservoir in mine was at low level before the service. My question is the white reservoir indicates the antifreeze on level on the whole system? or what is that white reservoir levels indicate? Should this white reservoir be at full level?
That's just the overflow. On a cold engine open the radiator cap and it should be full with coolant.
How many litter water put at radiator?
That GREEN coolant is G11 coolant type.... Are you sure is ok for that aluminium radiator and engine?

Good morning, I have a Kia k2700 and have flushed the cooling system, and replaced the radiator. But it keeps spitting out the coolant through the reservoir. How do I bleed the cooling system ???

Anyone here change coolant of it. how to drain all coolant on reservoir. i cant find out. i put pipe inside reservoir so i can suck it out.but it cant go to bottom structure of it so complicated. guys help me.
Some rads have drain cock,my Kia Soul inferno has a drain cock,bottom left it’s plastic drain . Now my daughter’s Kia Soul burner does not have drain cock,so best way is to remove bottom pipe,when engine is cold,also start engine let it run for 2 min to completely empty the cooling system.don’t. Forget to either shut the stopcock,or push the bottom pipe back into rad.then fill with mix of antifreeze+ water.
Most are held in place by a couple of bolts, simply disconnect and hold the resivore up and let gravity do the work.
Is this for comedic effect or is he serious about filling by removing the upper radiator hose? Why not just take the cap off the radiator and fill it there??

Um.you dont need to take your hose off .and if you put the same amount that you took out .then start .water pump will auto matic ly.flush air and coolant and make pressure .um this guy .is right but he didnt have to take hose off dum dum
I was thinking the exact same thing. That upper hose he removed is the coolant inflow from the block. As you fill the rad itself it will fill the block at the top. And usually after starting the cold engine you leave the cap off to allow any air to escape & THEN top up if the level drops. Recap & run and bleed heater core.
